Dreamweaver is lagging so much it is useless

I am experiencing the same lagging issues that Mac users have been making noise about. I have been happy with DW CC for a a few months until I made the update to 13.2. Is there a fix for PC windows Professional users?

What happens if you make a copy of the script and put it on your server then attach your page to that script?
It could be something funky in your local network settings not getting along with a social media script.
For instance, my company network won't allow me to follow a link with "facebook" in it's name, no mattter what domain it's located at. It doesn't need to be facebook.com, it can be a news site doing a story on how I screwed up and never bought stock or it could be a simple forum that uses the post title in the links. Anything with "facebook" in the URL is blocked.
Maybe something similar on your network is causing DW to throw up on itself?

Typing and Scrolling lags sooooooo much on U310

For some reason, when I'm typing in microsoft word (I'm using 2010 version) or facebook, the typing lags sooooo much. The letters wouldn't appear on the screen until a 2 or 3 seconds after I typed them. It's really annoying since I have to write 10 page papers for school. Also, when scrolling through documents in microsoft word, adobe, or in a web browser, the scrolling is really slow too. I'd keep dragging the scroll bar, but it would pause every 2 seconds. That's super annoying as well. I don't know what's wrong since I don't download apps or programs from the internet, and I haven't instailled a lot of programs on my U310 ideapad. I do search quite a bit on the internet though, but I use McAfee secure search to make sure I'm not clicking on sketchy links. My laptop also boots up really fast, and opening/closing windows is fast too. just got this laptop back in Nov. 2013, and mostly used it for school .... So what's wrong with my laptop?

Thanks for posting. Was reading through your post and sorry to hear about the issue you faced with your machine. Its really unusual for it to happen the way you described it as I must admit I haven't come across such an issue like this.
However in order for me to Diagnose this further, I was wondering which model do you specifically have? Is it the U310 or the U310 touch version? What about the operating system you;re running, is it the Win8 or Win7? Could you also let me know of the BIOS version you have?

Dreamweaver CS6 Lags as I Type

Dreamweaver CS6 lags as I type in the code editor. It's like the program can't keep up with me as I type. I've reopened the program several times and I still am experiencing the same behavior. Additionally, when I switch between windows, I get the spinnning beach ball almost every time. Anyone else experiencing this?
I am running Mac OS X 10.7.4 on a 3.4GHz Core i7 iMac with 16GB of RAM and an SSD.

High CPU usage in Code view issue has been resolved for Mac and the new build 12.0.3 is available for update for Non-Creative Cloud Members too. Please update to the latest build.
In Dreamweaver use menu 'Help' > Updates to get the latest build 12.0.3
The above update is available for both Windows and Mac.
Off topic: Creative Cloud users too have an update 12.1.1 to continue using Phone Gap from DW.

Why does it lag so much when I scroll in Safari? (OS X Lion)

I've noticed that ever since the OS X Lion update, webpages in general are pretty laggy when scrolling. I let the page completely load and when I scrollthere is stuttering and lag. It is made most apparent when I use momentum to scroll a long webpage.
It seems to happen mostly with more complex pages (which makes sense I guess). For example, some parts of NYTimes.com doesn't have much lag when scrolling. But most websites (like mine: http://wistfulwriter.com) are pretty laggy. I know I use a background image and use special fonts, but I never had this problem before the Lion update. Many other sites lag too: CNN.com, WashingtonPost.com, etc. It seems like any time there is an image, there is stuttering.
I have tried setting the zoom level to default (command-0) just in case, and I have exited unnecessary applications and everything. The lag is still there, regardless if I use fullscreen mode or not (though on some sites it is not as noticable in windowed mode).
Any clues? Thanks!

Go to FINDER-LIBRARY-PREFERENCES- and delete the folder com.apple.safari.rss.plist
Go to FINDER-LIBRARY-CACHES- and delete the folder com.apple.safari
Restart your Mac.
I too was experiencing some severe lagging in some web sites-using Safari.
Also heard that Adobe (v 10.1) can cause lagging problems. V. 10.0 is more stable.
Did what Clay offered and NO MORE LAGGING.
BTW, you'll have to do a search(SPOTLIGHT) for SAFARI but it pops right up and you still have all your bookmarks and favorites.

Firefox lags too much when i download and close the current window, then try to open a new window. why?

ok, everytime i download something the download window pops up, so i let it download and i like to keep it open so i can monitor my downloads. now, the problem is when i close the current firefox browser window and try to re-open a new one. my firefox browser window starts lagging/hangs very bad when i open up a new browser window. i have my settings set up to clear my history everytime i close my firefox, so i was wondering why it does this? is it because my history gets cleared and i still have my download window opened?

i understand that the iPhone 4s is getting old now but come on remember the iPhone 3gs flawless running iOS 6 then comes the iPhone 4 it was ruined on iOS 7 and now Apple is killing the iPhone 4s already iphone 4s and iPad 2 users we promised performance improvements in iOS 8.1.1 but if I'm honest it's made it worse my iPhone 4s has been speedy since it came out no slow down at all in previous major updates until iOS 8 it's almost like Apple is doing this on purpose to make us buy new phones but don't worry I will be buying a new phone I will be getting an android they stay speedy no matter how big an update is iPhone 4s is still a good phone just asking for an performance update that actually takes affect and fixes it as promised because pulling down the notification bar lags pulling up the control centre lags the keyboard on the spotlight search lags when it appears multitasking lags and using 3rd party apps lag when exiting such as Facebook and snapchat Come on Apple if your reading please fix !!!!!

Here is my question: Once my computer downloads updates I get the following line: loginwindow SleepWakeCallback. This has happened several times but now my computer lags so much it feels like I have a windows operating system.

Please help, The problem started with this string downloaded, and now my iMac acts like it has a windos operating system with all the lag time I encounter. Any help with a possible solution would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there I am trying to create a nice website for display my artwork but I have a few issues that I have tried to resolve myself to no avail.
One is when I have the website to smartphone mobile view the buttons get hidden in the logo and I cannot get them to activate
Two is I created a form on the contact page and I have not been able to receive an email from this form
Three I created a class css ID for the heading 1 font to be a different font on all browsers but it does not seem to work and defaults to a generic font.
Four I am trying to address the expanding box problem for the logo and it does not seem to go away.
This website is just a work in progress, I just bought the domain and uploaded it yesterday.

Just a couple of quick tips as I have not been able to look extensively at the issues.
1) Youre meant to relocate OR make the main menu disappear when the device screen width reaches a certain point creating a 'natural break' point with css media queries, which then displays the mobile menu:

A lot of website use a very simple <select> menu for mobile device. If you Google responsive navigation you will find some information on this method.
As for your form you only need 1 <form></form> tag for ALL of the information you wish to send so at the moment the form is set up incorrectly as you have used multiple form tags:

There is a lot that is wrong with the construction like you're using absolutely positioned <divs> which is a no go area.

I have a iPod gen4 32gb bought less than 6 months ago still under warrenty but it crashes so much and is so laggy I tried rebooting it and restoring it to s of times but it won't work! It's just as laggy as ever I am so angered. My other Frieda have no problem but it's just me I swear I have a defective iPod touch but please give me some advice

Try resetting your iPod
Hold the home button and the sleep/lock buton at the same time until the Apple logo appears
This does not delete any of your special data I have to do it sometimes too)

Newly build computer. Why do I lag so much in CS5?

Hello I am fairly computer saavy and built a computer for my girlfriend that I thought would work excellent for her art programs. She uses Photoshop CS5 and Painter 11. I have little to no experience with these programs to be honest. Anyway maybe someone can shed some light on these issues. To start Ill make a list of my hardware to see if that can help anyone.
Processor: i7 930 processor
Cooler: Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Universal CPU Cooler 120m
Motherboard: Gigabyte x58a-ud3r
Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 922
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB)DDR3 1333(will be returning these for faster ram)

GPU: Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB
HDD: WD Caviar Black 2TB 7200 RPM
Anyway, her lag isnt overly consuming. It only happens when her brush size is over 800 in most brushes. She says more detailed the brush the worse it is.
I built this rig expecting nothing to phase it. What is my problem here?

First thing; is Photoshop updated to Version 12.0.1 and have you checked on the manufacturer's web site for video card updates? Both can reduce lag.

Nvidia 760
And it works fine on everything but browsers. It lags so much in any browser including firefox. Also there are ads that can't be closed that block the whole page. I have ad blocker.. Please help me. Thank you

Can't get wordpress site displaying in Dreamweaver CC (xampp is setup)

Hello. I've been messing around with wordpress and I wanted to get it working in dreamweaver, haven't had much luck. I was present for the techlive conference for working with WP sites in dreamweaver and listened somewhat more casually knowing it will be uploaded to the archives later for me to go back and look at. Unfortunately, it was uploaded to youtube in 480p and is pretty much useless for anyone trying to follow along since the text is completely unreadable.
From what I can tell I have the site and server setup correctly.
I have xampp installed in the default location (C:\xampp).
I downloaded the latest wordpress and extracted the folder to C:\xampp\htdocs
The apache and mysql server in xampp are running
Created a new site in dreamweaver with the local site C:\xampp\htdocs\WPsite\
I set the connection to local/network
Under servers I have the server folder as C:\xampp\htdocs\
Web url as http://localhost
When I try to open the index.php file a dialogue box pops up asking me if I want to update the file on the testing server, I click yes and another dialogue box pops up asking if dependant files should be included in the transfer, I click yes.
After clicking live view I get these errors:

The forward and backslashes are odd. I have not touched absolutely anything in the wordpress folder or in xampp beyond what I listed. What am I doing wrong?
Any help or direction would be appreciated. I used wamp before and I could get the site working and displaying fine in the browser but I don't know how to do it with xampp. I switched over to xampp from wamp since I thought maybe I'd have more luck getting it to work in dreamweaver that way. I had some other errors in dreamweaver when I set it up using wamp.

I've gone through several of those threads and that is not the issue. The index.php file in the root directory is untouched. I have the index.php from the root folder of the WPsite and a clean wordpress download and both are identical.
I don't know if dreamweaver is doing something weird and creating files and folders locally but something weird is going on. I have a wp-content folder inside of htdocs (outside of WPsite folder) and I never created it there. It also seems to have placed or created several php files in the htdocs as well (index.php, wp-blog-header.php, wp-load.php).
I deleted them and opened the index.php file from the root folder, not themes, and it created the blog and index file again. Trying to open up the index.php from the twentytwelve theme folder seems to create the wp-content folder outside of the WPsite folder.
It doesn't seem to be copying all of the necessary files I'm assuming. The wp-content folder outside of the WPsite (htdocs/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve) only had 1 php file, index.php (guessing the one I tried to open) and nothing else inside of it.
The only thing pointing directly to htdocs is the server folder inside of the Server tab when managing a site. Should that be changed to C:\xampp\htdocs\WPsite as well or am I doing something else wrong?
