  • Dreamweaver Login Wizard won't complete

    Hi
    I have coldfusion MX 7 installed on the remote server and
    Dreamweaver MX 2004 installed on my local desktop. I also installed
    the ColdFusion MX7 extension(CFMX7 Extensions version 1.1.0 by
    InterAKT Online) for dreamweaver on my local desktop. I want to try
    the Login Wizard on the sample site (Extranet) that come with the
    Coldfusion MX 7 installation. However, every time I launch the
    login wizard, after the page "specify the Authentication Type", the
    wizard navigation buttions at the bottom of the page are missing.
    Can somebody tell me what might cause this?

    Forgot about getting this problem solved.
    The user account that had this trouble had a copy of his home directory from a laptop in his home directory. This backup had it's own Library folder which was confusing the Mobile account sync process.
    When I removed the backup home directory, the initial sync went fine.

  • Dreamweaver Login Wizard for Coldfusion 8

    Hello,
    I have just installed Coldfusion 8 and Adobe CS 3 (in that
    order). I am goign through the documentation and it talks about the
    Login Wizard extension for Dreamweaver. I have opened the samples,
    made sure I had an active database connection, but still no Login
    Wizard. What am I missing?
    thanks,
    mitch

    1) did you also install cf8 dw extensions? you can download
    those from
    adobe website.
    2) did you enable RDS during the cf installation?
    3) the login wizard is located under menu Commands -
    Coldfusion Login
    Wizard. have you been looking in the right spot?

  • Dreamweaver login wizard

    Just installed dreamweaver 8 but I cannot see the login
    wizard as per instructions
    With a Coldfusion document open in Dreamweaver, select
    Commands > ColdFusion Login Wizard.
    Please help

    Installing the Login Wizard
    The Login Wizard is installed with ColdFusion MX 7 when you
    install the Dreamweaver Extensions. If you did not install the
    Dreamweaver Extensions when you installed ColdFusion MX 7, you can
    install them separately.
    To install the Dreamweaver Extensions:
    Ensure that you have installed Dreamweaver 7.0.1 or later.
    Make coldfusion/CFIDE/installers the current directory.
    Double-click the CFMX7DreamWeaverExtensions.mxp file.
    Follow the prompts in the installer.

  • Dreamweaver login issues

    I have a login code, and when the user clicks logout, they are logged out, and taken back to the homepage. i tried clicking back when logged out, to see if i could still access the member's page, and it let me view it. when the page was refreshed, it was blank. how can i make sure it is blank every time when they try to go back?
    also, on the member's page, i have the following code:
    //if the cookie does not exist, they are taken to the login screen
    header("Location: login.php");
    shouldn't this block people from going back? it does not show the login.php page... any ideas?

    hm, i don't think i have a session name, but i'm guessing it might have to do with this codeing:
    //if there is, it logs you in and directes you to the members page
    $username = $_COOKIE['ID_my_site'];
    $pass = $_COOKIE['Key_my_site'];
    $check = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE username = '$username'")or die(mysql_error());
    while($info = mysql_fetch_array( $check ))
    if ($pass != $info['password'])
    else
    header("Location: test3.php");
    i would have to destroy those cookies, right? this is how i did it:
    <?php
    $past = time() - 100;
    //this makes the time in the past to destroy the cookie
    setcookie(ID_my_site, gone, $past);
    setcookie(Key_my_site, gone, $past);
    header("Location: ../test.html");
    ?>

  • Issues with Dreamweaver cs6 phone gap build login

    Hi there, I am an imac, using creative cloud and I am not able to login via dreamweaver to phonegapbuild...
    I have created my acount on phonegap using my adobe id and also set my github account to it too...
    but when I try and login it says looks like we are having server troubles please try again...
    On the dreamweaver login to phonegap it does say dont forget to activate your account email but I didnt recieve anything and I can login to phonegap ok?
    Please help as I have shelled out on an imac, creative cloud and gthub just to use this service ! and feel a bit let down..
    Many thanks
    I look forward to sorting this issue asap
    Paul

    Ahhh cool, many thanks...I have been onto them and told them what my issue was and cancelled my creative cloud as that was all I really wanted it for...
    I will check back when its sorted and see if its worth me doing, I know there are some cool things but my total setup for creating ios apps revolved around that function ...
    I would have presumed that as this is an actual Adobe branded forum they would have somone monitoring it daily for issues to at least put a coment on...
    I know other large companies that monitor every spector of the internet for peoples comments on them...and then respond accordingly... from all the forums I have viewed on this issue including phonegap they seem to be ignoring it which seems to be making people get even crosser...if thats even a word lol
    Anyway thanks for your comments

  • I'm logged into creative cloud, but someone else had logged into Dreamweaver, can I log them out of Dreamweaver and login using my credentials?

    I'm logged into creative cloud, but someone else had logged into Dreamweaver, can I log them out of Dreamweaver and login using my credentials?

    I'm using an iMac previously used by a past employee. It is running OS X 10.9.3. Using the CC application, I have logged out of his account and into my own. When using other applications such as Photoshop and After Effects, my account is the one displayed in the menu. When I use Dreamweaver however, the past employee's account is displayed in the menu, and when a sync is attempted, it displays his account info.
    Is there a way to use my own credentials to log into Dreamweaver separately from the CC app, or to force a sync between the CC app login and the Dreamweaver login?
    Thanks

  • Making a login that will direct to a file/url based on unique id

    This may be the wrong forum, and I apologize if so.... I have a flash website for my photography business and I would like to make a link I have to "Client Photos" redirect to a specific clients files/folder with thier unique id and/or password. Currently I send them to another URL alltogether where I have my shopping cart set up and hosted, but they see a long list of folders/thumbnails and have to click on thiers then enter a password. This is set up thru zenfolio so I didnt have to do any coding for the password. I already have the link on my flash site, I am just wondering if someone can point me to a good tutorial on php/mysql (i assume this is the best method as a database will be required) that addresses this without having to spend 6 months becoming a php expert first. I am pretty familiar with dreamweaver CS3 and have built dozens of html/css static sites, some javascript stuff, but this level of interactivity is all new to me.
    Basically this is the flow needed:
    1. Client clicks link on flash site, and is taken to a login page (would like to use an xhtml/css page for this instead of flash because many clients use iphones, so i can give them all the same url to login page also, bypassing flash site they cant see if on a mobile device)
    2.this page will be styled like my site so its seamless looking and will have two form fields so client can enter thier last name as a login and a password I assign
    3. when this data is entered the database (i assume) will have a url stored that is a gallery of thier images and open this in a new browser tab/ window
    I am a complete newb at this sort of thing and want to learn instead of just being handed code, so ANY help is greatly appreciated. Most photographers websites I see have a feature like this so I assume its not an uncommon thing, however when I ask other photographer friends how they did it, none of them have a clue because they paid someone else to build thier site or it was already included in a template...

    You're in the right forum now. I have moved this thread to the Dreamweaver Application Development forum, which deals with PHP/MySQL and other server-side issues.
    What you want to achieve is relatively simple with Dreamweaver's User Authentication server behaviors. The Dreamweaver help files have a section on Building a login page. There's also a tutorial in the Adobe Developer Connection on setting up a PHP testing environment.
    Out of the box, the Dreamweaver login system sends everyone to the same page, but it's relatively easy to tweak the code to send people to individual pages. You can ask here for more help once you've got the basic system set up. You might also find my book "The Essential Guide to Dreamweaver CS4 with CSS, Ajax, and PHP" smooths out a lot of the process for you. It has a complete chapter on building a user login system, including the database end. It also shows how to redirect users to individual pages.

  • How and where to add code to login page

    I have a login page which uses the Dreamweaver Login Behavior.  I want to add code to:
         Check the status of the person loging in (status is the last field in the mySQL authentication table).
              a.     If the person is already logged in, display an error message, and reject the attempt.
              b.     If the person is NOT currently logged in, set his status accordingly, and log him in.
    Since the behavior is generated code, and well above my head, I don't know what code to enter, and where to enter it.  Here's the code for the form:
    <?php require_once('Connections/login.php'); ?>
    <?php
    if (!function_exists("GetSQLValueString")) {
    function GetSQLValueString($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "")
      if (PHP_VERSION < 6) {
        $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc() ? stripslashes($theValue) : $theValue;
      $theValue = function_exists("mysql_real_escape_string") ? mysql_real_escape_string($theValue) : mysql_escape_string($theValue);
      switch ($theType) {
        case "text":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "long":

          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? intval($theValue) : "NULL";

          break;
        case "defined":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? $theDefinedValue : $theNotDefinedValue;

    ?>
    Could someone help me with this?  I'd very much appreciate any assistance.

    I should have warned you ealier that I don't know PHP very well, but if I can help nail down the process then hopefully one of the PHP experts can jump in.
    I'm still a little fuzzy on what is going on.  If Susie and Rodunda both have their own UserIDs and Passwords, then they can both be logged in at the same time, insert records til their hearts content and there will be abolutely no confict at all. The only issue here that may present a problem is if one of them attameps to update a record while the other one is looking at it, or getting ready to make their own modifications.
    Also, if Susie and Rodunda have their own user accounts with their own credentials, how is it that one would try to log in using the others' credentials?
    At any rate, and hopefully to get closer to a solutions for you, When a user is successfully authenticated, the session variable MM_Username is created.  So, simpy by checking for the existence of this session variable can tell you if that use is logged in or not.  This check can be placed before any of the login script so that it doesn't interfere with the behavior generated code. And you can choose what to do depending on the condition that exists - such as redirecting immediately to another page, or displaying or hiding a certain region on the page.
    Keep in mind that when the page first loads, thel login code is placed in an IF statement that checks the form action, so at first it's ignored and loads the form.  When the form is submitted, the IF conditino is met and the code executes.  To update the database with a "Logged in or out" value, you first have to place a recordset just after the IF statement that checks the form action, wirte another IF statement to check the value of the field, and then redirect to a logout page or continue with the login.
    If you continue with the login, you'll need an Update statement to change the field in the database just before the successful redirect.  If you've redirected to a log out page, you'll also need s similar update statement there.
    To write the recordset code, you can use DW's wizard and just move the code to where it needs to go. But the DW's update code depend on predeifned recordsets and form actions, so you'll need to find a script or hand code it, I wouldn't recommend trying to use DW's code and then modify it.
    So, what do you think, are we getting closer?

  • Creating Login Pages - Server Behavior Issues

    Hello,
    I been trying to find a solution to this problem for this
    past week.
    I'm having issues with creating a login page. First, I get
    the page created with a username text box, password text box, save
    username checkbox, etc. Next, I add the server behavior for 'User
    Auth' - 'Login User'. Now..here's the problem. When I complete
    that, I get this error (SEE BELOW). Somehow the server behavior
    duplicates. I can't go on until I make one of them unique from the
    other. I tried every which way to delete it, but I can't. Any
    suggestions?
    SERVER BEHAVIOR ERROR
    "The server behavior panel cannot determine whether "Log In
    User" or "Log In User" is applied to your page. Please select Edit
    Server Behaviors and change one of the 2 behaviors to ensure that
    each is uniquely identifiable."
    NOTE: By using the "-" sign above the panel, I can't remove
    the duplicate.
    Also, when I create a login page, I do need to insert a form
    first("form1") and then place the username, password, checkbox
    inside that "form1" form I just created, correct?
    Thanks for all your help!

    You could do a redirect on the page that they do land on once

    My personal preference would be to make one page, and only
    show the user
    groups parts of the page that they are allowed to see.

  • Server Behavior Login Permissions

    Hi,
    I have set-up up a database based upon username, password and
    security access level, the access level contains 3 types of groups.
    group 1, group 2 and group 3.
    I've used the dreamweaver login user server behavior. Looking
    at this it only allows you to go to one succeed page.
    Because i have got three user access levels, i'm looking for
    it to send each set of users from each access level to three
    different succeed pages.
    In other words, group 1 is sent to one succeed page, group 2
    is sent to a different and group 3 to another.
    Is there away of doing this?

  • Login behavior gives warning on manual alteration

    Say, why is it that the Dreamweaver Login Behavior breaks whenever I try to manually insert a new Session variable in it? It tells me "The Server Behavior panel cannot determine whether "Log In User" or "Log In User" is applied to your page. Please select Edit Server Behaviors and change one of the two behaviors to ensure that each is uniquely identifiable."   even though there is only one actual set of code on the page for a Log in behavior

    Are you manually changing the code? DW Server behaviors use a code recognition algorithm to determine if they exist on a page. If you manually alter the code  --performing a change that would could not be accomplished via the behavior-- DW won't be able to recognize it.  Is this what you are referring to?

    Carlos,
    I believe you will have to ask about the possible Dreamweaver login disaster in the Dreamweaver forum,

    I am afraid it is beyond what you can obtain by working with preferences.
    But you may try this specialized forum (where you may be able find the answer from previous threads),
