Dreamweaver MX image "open with FW" option opens FWMX want to change this to FWMX2004

I have the old Studio MX (FW, DW etc), and I also have a copy of fireworks 2004,
When i am using dreamweaver MX and want to edit an image on a site and i double click on the image it opens fireworks MX, i want it to open Fireworks MX 2004, now i can get it to open in Fireworks MX2004 by right clicking on the image and selecting "open with" and then navigating to the fireworks MX2004 folder to open it, which is a bit of a hassle,
Is there someway to get it to open in Fireworks MX 2004 when double clicking?
Obviously i can't afford to upgrade to the newer versions of either programs, (although i will accept donations ), and I would prefer to keep fireworks MX on the machine as back-up just in case mx2004 goes pear shaped.

In Dreamweaver, go to Edit > Preferences > File Types / Editors and edit filetypes that you would like to be opened / edited with Fireworks MX 2004. There are a lot of options available there, and this should do the trick.
There's even an option to specify the path to Fireworks, like:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Fireworks CS4\Fireworks.exe
-- just edit it to match where your copy of Fireworks MX 2004 is, and you're done -- I suppose that in your case, it should be here:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Fireworks\
...but I might be wrong -- it's been a long time since I installed anything older than Fireworks CS3...

I add the keyword 'sync' to any photos I want added to the iPhone/iPad.
Then, during the regular process of syncing the iPhone/iPad with my computer (mac), the photos with that keyword would be copied onto the iPhone, iPad.
I've been doing it this way ever since I was shown how to; ie after I got my iPhone 2 years ago. And every time the process worked - until the last few weeks. Suddenly it doesn't do it any more.
I believe I have upgraded software (either iTunes or iPhoto or both) during this period. I try to keep my software updated but have noticed previously that the new version often is disappointing.
I've not tended to use Smart albums much.

Apple does not take trade-ins. In a few countries Apple does work with a company who will give you some return on an existing device; for the US, see:

Similar programs are available in a few other countries, and some dealers may have their own trade-in programs. But you most probably can get more for your device if you sell it yourself, as Eric suggested.

When you use the Lion restore as described, it does a fresh install on the hard drive that you can select at the beginning of the process. This provides a complete install of the very latest version of Lion, including the recovery partition. The drive that you choose for the installation destination winds up like what you would have on a brand new computer from Apple.

Thanks - that helped. But when I tried to sync all my photo folders to the I pad 2, I tunes would add some but not all of the ones that were marked to sync, end the sync, then the I pad 2 would hang with the wheel turning, saying it was still syncing photos, and it would not end and the remaining folders of photos never appeared. I finally had to sync and re-sync over and over by adding one folder of photos at a time, then another and another.

1. Install PSE 11 in windows, upgrade your catalog, then make a full backup to a removable drive, like a usb drive, using the organizer's back up command. If you buy the boxed version you get discs for both platforms.
2. Install PSE on the mac.
3. Restore the backup to the mac. Point the restore to the .tly file in the folder, not the enclosing folder.

This issue was resolved! I didnt think about restoring my computer to factory settings but I did and now my computer works like brand new. basically, just back up your files and do the following:

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

I was on the website like five minutes with it working perfectly. My firefox install is new as of two days ago. It suddenly decided the website's certificate is not updated. It wasn't updated five minutes ago, but was working perfectly then. I do not give a ''durn'' what firefox thinks. I want to see this website. There is no ignore this BS and take me to my website button. I want to know how to turn this off permanently. I tried updating firefox and I still have the same issue. Make it stop. My firefox is updated as of five minutes ago to the very newest version. My windows version whatever is also automatically updated so that's not it. I do not use any local antivirus because I am behind a firewall. It can't be the firewall because other computers in my network not using firefox have no problem with the website. Also cannot be my windows because other computers which are just ghosted over copies of the same as this one one my network with same exact default settings also with no changes to them just like this one but using another web browser have no trouble at all with this website. Seriously, nothing is different on the other computers on the network except the use of firefox. They work fine for this website. Firefox brand new update even does not work. Tell me how to fix it. I tried to do the stuff listed in certain other posts here. Apparently this version of firefox is different from the versions talked about when I google because certain parts of the answer don't fit what I see when I try to follow them with this version.

Make sure that the system time and date on your computer are set correctly.

Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".

Why does iMovie quit constantly when I try to Share with Media Browser? I want to burn this movie!

iMovie quits ALL THE TIME when I try to Share with Media Browser in order to burn the DVD. Why? What can I do? Is it becasue I bought a refurbished Mac? I burned a DVD from another project only a month ago.

I don't know why it happens, but if you read messages around the iMovie Discussion Group it seems to happen to a lot of people. The easiest way around this is to Share to Media Browser instead of Share to iDVD directly. The Media Browser is a 'holding area' for video you want to use in other iLife Apps (including GarageBand and iDVD). When you Share to Media Browser, choose the Large size. Then let it run until it finishes. Quit iMovie.
Open iDVD. Create a New Project, Select a Theme. Then click on the Media Button. Click on the Movies button below the Media Browser. Your project will now appear under the iMovie star icon just drag that project into the iDVD project window. This should bypass the problem you were having by sharing Directly to iDVD.

Can I upload an image using an URL for an image already on the web? (I want to do this because the image I am trying to reference updates daily)

I am using a PC with windows 7. I have a number of figures that update daily as data is automatically download that I would like to build a page to display. I am hoping that by uploading an image using the URL it will update when the image updates at that URL. I am not sure if this is possible.

You need to use a jpeg image or a PNG image. Use GraphicConverter 7.3 to change the format.

Apple does not transfer content bought with one Apple ID to another Apple ID. Apple will not merge two Apple IDs.
If most of your content was bought with the Yahoo! Apple ID but you now want the Gmail address for your Apple ID, the trick will be to change the address used for the Yahoo ID with the Gmail address. However, to do that you must first free the Gmail address from that other Apple ID. Use the instructions from Apple to substitute another address that is not used as an Apple ID for your Gmail address in the Apple ID with the Gmail address. Then, when the Gmail address is no longer used in an Apple ID, you can use the same instructions to substitute the Gmail address for the Yahoo address in the Apple ID with the Yahoo address.

ok, so.... our family shares an apple ID but we didnt have an Icloud set up until this January. And our faily had two ipads and a few ipods but no icloud. when i got my macbook pro the system made me create an icloud with an @me.com account.. and now our icloud is a complete pain in the butt...No one used it until M-Day.. mothers day my mom got an iphone4s and she is freaking out becuase she is ssuuppeerrr organized.. and all of my contacts mail and all other icloud contents appeared on her iphone... i decided to make a new icloud account. seperate from that other one i made(to give my mom the other acount to herslef), how can we delete the @me.com email from the first original account and put my moms contents in it...:) thank yooouuu:)

You can't change the me address on the first account. Since I'm struggling to understand why you are wanting to do what you want to do, it's difficult to suggest a workaround.
If you just wish to share your mother's content from her own new account, then the easiest solution is to add her account to your devices as a secondary account (settings >mail, contacts, calendars) and just enable the services you wish to use.

I need help setting up my daughters iPod. She has been using her iPod touch for 6 months using my ID. This caused a problem now that she is a bit more savvy and has learnt to message and FaceTime. I get her calls and she gets mine. I have set her up her own ID with iCloud but when I go to settings for FaceTime and messaging I can't erase my ID. So the problem is not really solved. She will have to access iTunes through me as she doesn't know my password and any games etc have to pass the mummy test. Can anyone help?

Thanks. I have my iPad on my lap and her iPod in my hand. We can FaceTime each other but it won't let either of us message each other. I know mine is activated as I use it frequently. I have activated hers as well. Maybe I will put it in the too hard basket for tonight, sleep on it and try again tomorrow.
