Dreamweaver not displaying text alignment properly

Hi,
I'm working on a site where I want a Div with a background image to align right of the text. It shows up correctly in IE, Firefox, Opera, and Safari, but not in Dreamweaver CS4 while I'm working on it.

Thanks Nancy.
The image on the right is a background image of a Div, so I don't understand what I did wrong (if anything). Shouldn't the text appear to its left, just as if it were a table with a background image?
The link you posted will be helpful though for something else I have to do. Thank you.

Any ideas? The pdfs are printed/made from MS word docs. The header is a placed image. Also attaching screen shot from FF.

Try this ...
Open a Finder window then from the menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Click Go.
If you see the: AdobePDFViewer plugin in the Internet Plug-Ins folder, move it to the trash.
Restart your Mac and try opening a PDF file.

Safari does not display text on some sites.

I am running OSX 10.10.2 and Safari 8.03
Some sites I visit do not display text at all.
For example: This site (http://neflin.org/) looks fine in Chrome, Firefox, whatever. But in Safari, it has no text at all. See below.
Mail is having difficult with some text in html email too.
I have rebooted, reset the PRAM, deleted preferences and turned off extensions. I checked the Guest account and created a new account and in all cases the problem persists.
I have validated fonts in Font Book, restored standard fonts and looked for duplicates. Nothing.
Flash and Java are up to date.
Any thoughts?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.

BPS Variable-Cost Element is not displaying Text

Dear Team,
We have a peculiar issue one of the BPS Variable defined for Cost Element is not displaying text in one of the Planning Layouts.
Another variable is displaying text in another layout.
Surprisingly...when I reused the old variable in the new layout it is also not displaying the text.
Am I missing something....appreciated your quick support.

Have you check the layout Lead-Column setting? Is it set to 'Key/Description'?

Dreamweaver not displaying my home page.

For some strange reason Dreamweaver not displaying my home page. However it will display all other pages on the site. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Iphone4 does not send texts/imessage properly.

I've had this iphone for 18 months and it does not send texts/imessages properly. The iphone will be sending texts completely fine and it will have good 3G connection but then out of nowhere the phone will take over 20 minutes to send texts/imessages. Phone connection is out of the question. it does this on and off very frequently. It started doing it very rarely but its been doing it more and more often.

Problem with Loader Components, can not display my forms properly

Here is the problem (my God, my customer waiting for his web
site:( ... ) I have a form made in CoffeeCup Flash Form Builder
(Nice one...).Now this form with fields like name, sec name age,
etc I want it to apear into my main screen when I press the button
"Reservation" and then the customer could fill the fields and sent
it to my mail. I tryed with the Loader Component, I mean when I
press the button then starts "playing" the form.swf. BUT the Loader
can not display the form properly specialy thinks like drop down
menus in the form, or check boxes....It just show me the
form....The Flash Form Builder gives me 4 files like: form.swf,
form.html, form.php and form.xml. Any solution on how my customers
complete this form with no problems?

You have to following these step to run form on firefox,
Run the following file,
1) C:\DevSuiteHome_1\jinit\jinit.exe
2) jvm.dll copy this file to the following path,
C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.22\bin\hotspot
3) And firefox connection settiong with 'No-Proxy'
The above setting it will help full you to run your form on firefox.

Safari 3.2.1 for XP does not display all graphics properly, including the Apple Support Website http://www.apple.com/support/.

Maybe this will also help:
If your Safari won't open, one or more of the following procedures should fix it:
1. Go to Home/Library/Safari/ folder and remove the following two files:
• history.plist
• lastsession.plist
(Safari may not load properly If these two files are corrupted.)
2. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari/ and remove the contents of that folder.
(These are just webhistory files and are not required for Safari to run. However, similar to preference files, problems can arise if they have become corrupt.)
3. Locate the cookies.plist file that's located in the Home/Library/Cookies/ folder and remove it.
(Again, faults in stored cookies may interfere with Safari's launch.)
4. Check whether any of your third-party internet plug-ins may be interfering with the launch of Safari by carefully moving them to the desktop (do NOT delete them at this stage). You can find these in two places:
Home/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ folder, and Global plug-ins are located in the Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins/ folder.
Restart Safari and place them back in the correct folders, one at a time, closing and re-opening Safari each time. If you discover that one of them was causing the problem with launching Safari, trash it and download and install a fresh copy.

Dreamweaver not displaying last 30 lines of code, GoLive does display them

My issue here is that Dreamweaver is displaying lines 1
through 71 of an .html document but there are 124 lines of code
when opened in Go Live. Here are the undisplayed lines of code...
any suggestions on how to reveal them in Dreamweaver CS3?

Again I try a different fresh file that follows the same
guidlines and the code is cut off at line 92, there are 133
total.... I've provided the code below with a line to show what

WinCE Projector does not display flash file properly

Hi,
I built a projector application for loading flash files on a
Windows CE 5.0 based embedded device. I am using Flash player 7 for
WinCE5.0. The projector was built using embedded VC++ for an ARM
processor.
The basic idea of this flash application is content delivery.
So, this projector loads a container flash file stored locally on
the device. This container flash file communicates with a remote
server(webserver or FMS) to retrieve content (flash files, audio,
video, images, text etc.). Right now, I am trying to load a series
of flash files from the remote server - one by one - like a series
of ads.
The problem is that, the series of flash files loaded does
not display properly inside the main container file. I am using a
loader component in the main container flash file. All the flash
files loaded must play full screen. But some files do not play
fullscreen. It automatically shrinks to a smaller random size. This
behaviour does not repeat. It occurs randomly for any of the series
of files I am trying to load in the container flash.
When i tested the application on the desktop, it works fine.
But on the device, the loaded flash files shrink automatically. Can
someone explain why this is happening? Is this problem usually
associated with flash player on embedded devices?
I am stuck with this problem for a long time. I tired
different methods to get around it, but could not succeed. So I
would really appreciate it, if anyone can throw some light on this
issue and preferably provide a solution?

I am using Flash Professional CS6.
It lets me edit all the symbols and bitmaps, and key frames.
However, it just publishes as a SWF a bit incorrectly.

Text is not displayed / Text wird nicht angezeigt

Working with FM 11 I've got a longer text written with an older FM-version with some headings and paragraphes that are not displayed. It's just free space or lines and in some cases it's underlined like misspelled words but the characters are not visible. Paragraph- and character-formats look normal (that is black text on white background) and the text is not conditional. BUT the text is displayed in the Markers-Pod, when I mark a passage and it's even possible to find words in these paragraphs searching for them. I would appreciate any hint, how to deal with this problem.

Sometimes I encounter a bug (FrameMaker 11.0.2.348) which also hides some text. I have a two-column layout with columns balanced. Usually some text is hidden at the end of the second column. When I add some empty paragraphs after the hidden text, the text appears again.
MIF washing does not help.
Luckily pages with hidden text have the Overflow property set. The bottom line of the text frame is solid. I wrote a FrameScript which checks for such pages.
I do not know, if your problem has the same cause.

Safari will not display text

Why does Safari not display the main text section of the following web page? This happens with Safari for Mac and Windows. Obviously the site is done with a MS-compatible design tool. Is there an easy change that I can suggest to the site's webmaster or is there a 'plugin' that can be used by Safari to allow visibility?

Firefox/Camino are more forgiving for bad code and the sites works with these browsers.

Safari 4.0.3 not displaying text correctly

Hi all, I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard (along with everyone else) and ever since certain code will NOT display correctly.
This is what is displayed by safari when viewing text from a "code" tag.

I have tried troubleshooting and fixing this problem by reinstalling both Safari 4, and Snow leopard to no avail, I have also verified and repaired permissions.

SOLUTION FOUND!
I searched the forums and found our solution here:

Basically, go to your Applications and open Font Book. If this is the case, you have two sets of Courier running. Scroll down to where Courier is and click the drop down triangle to see it's different styles. I then sort of just guessed and checked this next move but it did the trick. Find the Courier Regular that does NOT give a sample display of our beloved ABCs. Right click that "bad" version of Courier Regular and choose the Remove or Delete Option and verify with an OK. It should get rid of all the bad versions and the warning triangles. Try out a page in Safari and it should look as good as any other browser now.

Fifefox 5 does not display web sites properly, firefox4 does

My website www.auraltronics.com has a javascript menu that does not display at all on my laptop W7 - 64bit, Firefox5, yet it displays properly on other browsers, such such as Chrome, and IE. Also it displays properly on my desktop running XP and Firefox4
On my laptop I also see font display issues at other websites such as Grassroots.org

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.
