Dreamweaver pop-ups messages don't regain focus on Windows 7

For exemple, when I put some files for upload some times DW opens a pop-up for some confirmation. If I change to another program, when I come back to Dreamweaver I can't acess that pop-up, and DW blocks me from clicking on anything else. I use some malabarism to view the pop-up, but normaly I have to wait the pop-up timer expires to continue to use DW. I belive that is a Windows 7 only problem.
If I try to catch the pop-up on the new Aero Windows taskbar it only opens DW main window, not the pop-up!
Someone has any ideas?

Thank you for your anser, let's try this:
1. Delete a file on the remote server.
2. While the delete prompt is showing, I switched to another application.
3. Go back to DW using the thumbnail on Windows 7 taskbar. (it shows two windows, but it doesn't make diference).
4. The remove file confirm dialog is not visible, and it's very dificult to show it back, normaly right click-n-hold on thumb and drag cursor so you can use the confirm dialog.
Testing I discoverd that when the prompt is there you can make it disapear simply by clicking on W7 thumb on taskbar. To show it back I have to use my malabarism right-drag click.
(I'm using W7 64bit with DW CS5. Sorry, I may committed some English errors)

  • POP NEW MESSAGE TO THE FRONT OF ALL WINDOWS: HOW?

How do I set up iChat to bring a new message, current message, or any other message to the front of all other windows when received??
The present options limit the actions to making a noise, bouncing the dock icon, and nothing else.
I would like iChat to bring forward ALL messages received to the front of all other windows upon receipt, and put the focus on that newly received message.
Is this possible? I have searched the interwebacles via the googlenator and have found nothing solving this issue. Be as technical as you like, I will understand any level of instructions.
    Thank you in advance.

Try Chax It is an Add-on that adds the feature you request - or rather a chat window can be set to always be in front.
This means new chats from the same Buddy tend to do the same.
I have not tried it with chats from different Buddies.

  • Need help with POP UP messages

I've created a pop up message that notifies you when you are
leaving a site. You can press ok to get redirected to another site
or cancel out by pressing the X. But when you press the X it
redirects you to the site anyways. Is there a way to cancel the
action or redirection of the pop up message window. Or do I need to
create a seperate page for the pop up message.

Don't do this at all. People know what they want to do.

From user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:
    The facts are:
    1. There is no anti-malware software that can detect 100% of the malware out there.
    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect anything targeting the Mac because there
is no Mac malware in the wild, and therefore, no "signatures" to detect.
    3. The very best way to prevent the most attacks is for you as the user to be aware that
the most successful malware attacks rely on very sophisticated social engineering
techniques preying on human avarice, ****, and fear.
    4. Internet popups saying the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on
your computer is intended to entice you to install their malware thinking it is a
        protection against malware.
    5. Some of the anti-malware products on the market are worse than the malware
from which they purport to protect you.
    6. Be cautious where you go on the internet.
    7. Only download anything from sites you know are safe.
    8. Avoid links you receive in email, always be suspicious even if you get something
you think is from a friend, but you were not expecting.
    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume it is malware.

  • Minimized messages do not appear under the Window menu

If I minimize a few messages (yellow button) in Mail, then quit Mail and reopen Mail, the minimized messages don't appear under the Window menu. The only way to retrieve them is to go into Expose one at a time and click on them.
This seems like a bug or design flaw.
    Any ideas?

  • How do I get Firefox to display the information bar when a pop up is blocked I accidentally clicked on "Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked" when a pop up was blocked. How do I get this message to reappear again when a pop up is blocked?

I just updated Firefox but can't get it to display the message when a pop-up is blocked. Most times I want them blocked but sometimes I need them enabled.

You can see a pop-up block icon in the right corner of the Status Bar if you have chosen to hide the information bar at the top.
You can left-click that pop-up block icon on the Status Bar and remove the check mark from "Don't show info message when pop-ups are blocked"
You can look at these prefs on the '''about:config''' page and reset them via the right-click context menu:
    Status bar icon: browser.popups.showPopupBlocker
Info bar at the top: privacy.popups.showBrowserMessage
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

  • I own fully paid for license for Dreamweaver CS6. Every time I click to open the app, I get a very annoying pop-up message. How do I stop it?

I own fully paid for license for a Mac version of Dreamweaver cs6. Every time I click to open the app, and before I can start using CS6, I get a very annoying pop-up message (see screen shot below) that states I have a trial version and do I want to buy into the cloud version, which I don't.  How do I stop the pop-up? This message seems to originate from the Extension Manager.
I tried trashing Extension Manager, but another annoying pops-up which states that I have to "reinstall the application manager". Of course, there is no such thing as a "application manager" that I can find. I guess it should be "extension manager".
I no longer own Photoshop because there are so many great alternatives available. Can't wait to do the same with Dreamweaver.
Adobe can't even get the correct cost. I'm an US Customer however they quote the Creative Cloud in Euros. Go figure........

I have faced this problem in the past.  In my case, I had Adobe registered under two separate ID.  One when a student and the second as a regular employed individual.  Because I purchased the licensed while at the University, the registration was listed under the school id. So, when I login in Adobe using my regular ID, I then received the annoying marketing campaign add.
Therefore, review that you have enter the correct id during loging. IT is possible that you login to the community as one ID but purchased the subscription using a separate user name. In these cases, the computer will not know that you already have a paying license.

  • Javascript pop-ups don't open, neither does the Add-ons field. Connected?

After reset or re-install, I can access Tools > Add-ons once. Then it will not open again. When clicking it or using command (Ctrl+Shift+A), nothing happens - no message, no symbols in address field, nothing.
Also, web pages with Java pop-ups (it says "javascript:popup_imp..." when I try to use them) do not work, like the web interface of a mail service, where New Message or Reply normally opens in new tab.
    Are these issues related?
    May installed plug-ins be involved?
    What can be done?
    Thankful for any support!

  • Odd pop-ups and webpages that don't load?

I know that Mac computers cannot get a virus; however, I have been receiving very odd messages lately. I sometimes get random pop-ups that say, "Your Windows computer may be infected! Call now at this number!" I'm not sure if it's just an ad or some sort of spam, but it makes me uncomfortable because I tend to get the messages often. I unfortunately don't have an image of the pop-ups, though.
Another problem is the fact that I can't access ONE particular website. My wireless is fine, it works perfectly with other webpages, but that one website refuses to load. The website is 'Animal Jam,' and I've tried everything to allow the website to load for my daughter, but it just doesn't seem to work properly. The address bar just loads for a long period of time until Chrome says 'This website is not available.' Animal Jam has provided tips for technical problems (all of which I have tried): clearing the cookies, updating Adobe Flash Player, restarting my computer, etc., but nothing seems to work at all.
I've also tried testing it with different browsers, and they all yielded the same result. I know that the website is not tempolarily disabled, because it seems to be working for many of my daughter's friends who also play the game. This site also provides that the site is 'up' and running: http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/animaljam.com.html
    Some help would be appreciated!

Most likely, you have a web plugin that depends on the Java runtime distributed by Apple, such as the Facebook video calling plugin or the "NexDef" plugin for watching baseball streams. If you no longer need the plugin, remove it, including its automatic update mechanism (if any) according to the developer's instructions. Otherwise, install Java.

  • Deactivate pop-ups for system messages

    Hi,
I have the problem that each time a system message is occuring (bottom left hand corner) an information pop-up is raised with the text details. How can i deactivate these pop-ups? It's really annoying when you debug because each time  a commit is done by the system a pop-up is raised...
    Thanks in advance.
    Points rewarded of course.
