Dreamweaver says my license has expired, but it hasn't

i tried to open dreamweaver and it says that my license has expired. i put in the serial number and it says that the software was not able to activate due to network problems.

I suggest that you Contact Customer Care
They should be able to help you or at least redirect you correctly. If, by any chance, you are redirected to the forums, I suggest that you use the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up. The experts there are better placed to help you.

    Beginning with Creative Cloud, Adobe is using a subscription model for payment & software distribution which I have no problem with since many software developers are using similar models.  The Adobe Creative Cloud software installs on your machine exactly the same way other CS products did.  More importantly, updates are rolled out regularly as soon as they become available so there's no more waiting 18 mos for the next product upgrade cycle.   For me, that's a definite plus.  Your mileage may vary.

  • Product Page says my repair and hardware coverages has expired, but it hasn't been ONE-year

    I sort of regret buying an iPad 3.
    I just recently had my New iPad replaced, and the Genius switched my S/N and information to the new device, now I need to file another hardware claim but the Products Page tells me that the hardware coverage has expired. However, the product isn't one year old yet and the strange thing is that Telephone Support still says "active". Does this mean that my hardware support is over because I already had a device replaced?
    Should I call Apple and see what the deal is, or would it be more wise to go to the Apple Store and have someone look at my problems there?

    Hm, strange issue you have here. Kind of odd if you tell me. Usually when you get a new iPad replaced, its either because of warranty and getting a new product under warranty doesn't necissarily "renew" your one year product protection under law (slightly fuzzy on that statement).
    I'd advise walking into the Apple Store so you can catch someone who's physically there. For telephones, a customer would usually get annoyed if the problem isnt resolved over the phone. So to save yourself some heat and frustration, I'd rather if you went to the Apple store. There's a much clearer understanding of what needs to be done if your there in person.

    Here is my problem,
    I downloaded the Photoshop CS4 and CS3 trial off of the Adobe site. I uninstalled them both after i was done using them. So then i went and bought Photoshop CS3 ( i got it for a good price). So i installed it, it want fine after i finished, i clicked on it to fun it and it says product license has expired. so i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times and nothing. I emailed Adobe and they said the problem should be fixed so i tried again and it keeps happening. So does anyone have any ideas? that would be great

    Actually, I'm sorry to say but I think they may be right. I went through the same thing a few years back when I bought a copy of Photoshop 7 on ebay. It all looked legitimate. These guys can produce very authentic looking things. The seller offered me my money back upon the mention of it being a pirate, said I didn't need to send it back, but swore it was real. i picked up elements, and now I finally have CS4 from a trusted reseller.

    This is a common thing on Amazon too. Get in contact with the seller, and hopefully you paid by paypal, they might be able to get your money back. Check their other auctions, and see how many other high priced software they are selling.
    Actually, hopefully we are wrong and you actually got a good deal and this is a technical problem, but I just have a feeling that its not legit.

    I am working on a vista pc with a Flash CS3 full version but
    can not get access to device central when I try to acces it through
    the welcome screen (Flash Mobile (Mobile).
    It keeps on saying "Product license has expired" and it is
    not.

    Working on a Mac.  I have to re-install my Design Premium CS3 software since my hard disk got broken.  I could save some information from the old one so I think there's some conflict with the old OS or something.

    Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription:

    Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.
    Still asks for serial number check the hosts file for Adobe entries , if present remove it and try to activate.
    1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
    2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.
    /etc
    3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it
    4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc
    5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.
    When asked Authenticate with your Mac password.
    Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted.
    Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.

    Joanne please remove your current installation of Photoshop Lightroom using the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
    You will then want to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh.  The update contains the entire application.  Photoshop Lightroom can not be installed through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application and still be licensed with a serial number.

    1. Close all the Adobe Applications. Log-out from creative.adobe.com and re-login.
    2. Once you launch the software and when you get the error saying the the trial version has expired, you will have an option saying "License this software".
    3. Select this option and enter your credentials and click next.

    My problem with Adobe's recognition of my Adobe ID was solved by the chat support. The file "host" was changed, so that Adobe products no longer was blocked. Try the chat.

    I'm having the same problem. Subscribed to Creative Cloud. All the apps showing as 'Try' rather than the 'Download' buttons that apepar on a colleagues machine (who subscribed a few months ago). When I load the trial of Indesign, if I select 'licence software' - no space to put Adobe ID, only serial number which I don't have with the Creative Cloud membership.
    Tried everything that has been suggested. Updated everything in Adobe App' Manager. Gone back to open Indesign - still just has boxes for serial number.
    Please sort this out Adobe. I've wasted half a day trying to install on my machine and still have the rest of the studio to do.

    I bought one year student plan to use creative Cloud for my homework. But every time I try to use the software, it always say my trial has expired and I have to buy the actuarial software. I don't get it, I paid one year student plan, why I always use the trial. Now I can't even use it on my Mac anymore. I have homework due next week. I really need help!!!

    I hat the beta version, but I uninstalled that, too. I went
    into Library/Appliationsupport/adobe and looked for a file called
    adobe PCD because someone suggested that might work, no such file
    exists on my computer.

    This error might be a result of using the beta. The beta was
    available for a few months (well more than the 30 days). You may
    have to contact Adobe support about this because it is not
    something that people on the forums would be able to help you with
    if there is a solution because it probably has to do with the Adobe
    installer and how it records timings.

    Considering the fact that
    1.The CC payment has transacted completely
    2. You have 20or100gb of space (CC Individual/CC Team), you can check it by clicking on the "inverted triangle" beside the logo when you sign in to www.creative.adobe.com. This space allocation indicates that you have subscripton not trial(2gb).
    Then:
    Please check for the language in which you have purchased CC.
    Say for example you have purchased CC for International English & International English wasn't selected when you installed that can also be an explanation for the product running in trial mode. We have this document on the issue.

    In case the language is fine, then
    log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App as it will update CC,
    Launch any product, click on the option of "license this software" Sign in, CC should be activated.
