Dreamweaver sync with Photoshop not Fireworks

When I upgraded to CS3 at work, my fireworks and dreamweaver
remained working together in the properties bar. When I upgraded at
home to CS3 I now have Photoshop in my property bar. How do I
change this back to fireworks, my preferred choice.?

Figured it all out now. In preferences/file types/
For some reason it had two fireworks and one photoshop
associated to all the different extensions. But the fireworks was
marked as primary. So I deleted all of the associations. Closed
then reopened, then I associated the correct extension with the
file editor I wanted, with only one editor per extension. Fixed
everything fine.

"Unexpected Error" When Syncing with Lotus Notes Calendar

I continue to get an "Unexpected Error" message from the Blackberry Desktop Manager when I attempt to sync with Lotus Notes Calendar. I have been syncing without issues for a couple of weeks now; this error just started yesterday.

Sounds like it's a problem with the Acrobat settings. Did you set them to the same resolution?

Can I restore my Notes from an iCloud back-up? if I synced with the Notes "off" in the iCloud settings?

I synced with the Notes "off" position in the iCloud settings since I didn't realize I had to specifically turn anything "on" to be synced. I had to wipe my iPhone for another issue and restored my contacts, etc, from my most recent iCloud back-up. Can I go back to the back-up and retrieve my Notes, or were they never sent to the cloud to begin with? If I can't, is there ANY way to get them back? And if not, can they be hacked by anyone wince they have all kinds of data that could be used for Bad Things.

I restored from iCloud, although the Notes thing was still "off'. I only just turned it on now, so if I re-restore, will I get my Notes back?

Hi, Just finished setting up my sleek E52 - happy as a bird! Started up the Ovi Suite to sync with Lotus Notes....crash!!!! What?!?!? THIS IS MISSION CRITICAL!!!!! Been a Nokia fan for +10 years. I guess I'll have to take it back to the shop and switch to Samsung or HTC to get my calender and contacts!!! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?????

Go to Settings>iCloud and set up the iCloud account you were using before by singing in with the same Apple ID. Then turn the data you were syncing with your iCloud account back to On, and if prompted, choose merge.

Yes, it will. You cannot merge information on the phone. If you want the old messages, you will need to restore from a backup of the old phone, which will make the new phone look just like the old phone. If you want to save the messages from the new phone, you will not be able to get the messages from the old phone.

OVI Suite 2.0 doesn't sync with Lotus Notes!

I am disgusted with the new OVI 2.0! First it keeps bugging me to download and install it. Next I found out that it doesn't support sync with Lotus Notes. Unlike my Nokia PC Suite v 7.0, it doesn't sync at all with Lotus Notes.
Even worst, Nokia claimed that OVI Suite is the only application available from them.
What am I to do with my calendar and contacts entries on my Notes then? I will not hesitate to switch to a different mobile phone maker if Nokia doesn't fix this problem!

With the exception of the calendar and contacts, which can be sync'ed as long as the PC Suite works, the Nokia backup solution does not backup much I can not backup by using the memory card and a computer (and/or the USB cable), and it will be a simple matter to drop that back into a mobile phone from another provider, and sync my calendar and contacts into it as well.
I believe Nokia employees reading these discussions should forward their concern to their colleagues and superiors at Nokia, and I know the culture in many Finnish companies implies a relatively flat structure and allows for good contact along the lines of command in the companies, so I believe that can be done.
I would like to be able to continue using Nokia, but I am more dependent on features and functionality than brand.
My postings are done on basis of my own opinions, and are not done on behalf of organizations I am or have been member of, nor employers I have or have had.

Compatibility of Dreamweaver 3 with Photoshop CS4

I have Photoshop CS4 and want to buy Dreamweaver CS3 (because it's less expensive than 4).... will there be any compatibility issues if I do this? Or does this even matter? I have never used Dreamweaver which is why I'm asking.

CS3 is a previous version so make sure you are buying this from a legitimate source. Also with Photoshop CS4 you do have the option to upgrade to a discounted suite.
Anyways, back to your topic, no there should not be any issues. There are some added features in CS4 such as the ability to handle PSD files, but it's really not a big deal and I can tell you from my experience I typically export slices from Photoshop and build the HTML by hand in DW to make it work. So you should be fine if you go with CS3.

Syncing with Photoshop Elements

I did a sync with an Elements library of over 19,000 photos. It did it, but when I went to the Apple TV there is only one entry, "Photoshop Elements!" There appears to be no way, other than to watch the slide show, to actually jump around the library. Having to watch 19,000 photos to get to the one you want is, obviously not acceptable.
What am I missing? Is there a workaround in Elements? Or is there a way to break these pictures down to the folders they reside in? Anything to stop it from being one large folder to the Apple TV.

Oops. I figured it out. Create a new album and then drop pictures into it. Duhh.

TypeKit in Creative Cloud stopped syncing with Photoshop

I selected two desktop fonts to sync with my Creative Cloud apps. They worked fine for a while and now won’t sync. It keeps saying there is no internet connection and to retry which I do and it still doesn’t work. I’ve gone in to manage fonts, removed the fonts, then reloaded and synced. Still not working. I have logged out of Photoshop, the creative cloud and still no luck. Is there a fix?

Calendar sync with exchange not working

I connect my iMac to my corporate email using exchange and every few weeks I have to remove th account and add it again innorder for the calendar to update. Anyone have a fix for this?

the new iphone does not sink with outlook 2003 and my sync with mac
is far far less than perfect (300 out of 2500 contacts sync). The iphone techs tell me this problem is universal. I sure didn't get this information when I bought the phone. The apple techs for cannot fix these problems. The software seems flawed.

My Temp Work around for my Outlook Sync with Z10 - Not Ideal but works.

I like many on this forum was pissed that Outlook Sync was not included with BlackBerry Link.. I was fortunate to transfer all my contacts & calendars from my Old Torch 9810 without a problem. The problem is that I need to sync my calendar and updated contacts on a regular bases. I use Outlook 2010 for all my 1400 contacts and Calendar. There is no way I am going to use any cell phone to update this amount of data. I have owned the Z10 since Tuesday Morning and that afternoon I was ready to take it back and I am a die hard BB user.. My wife has an Iphone 5, nice toy, but wont work for my business.. Seriously considered Android phone, but they also have their issues with the Outlook sync via USB..
But after 6 Days with the Z10, I must say I love it. .Didn't at first, but once you figure out, it is truly impressive.. Also love the virtual keyboard, very accurate and amazing.. Love the fact that I can have multiple applications running at the same time.. I use web pages that I need for work as an active screen and a button on my home page.
While waiting for a 3rd party application to implement this (Campanion Link & Deja Office) or to have BB realize that this is serious and add it in their BB link soon.. Cloud is not an option for me.
This is the temporary solution I have right now.
Option 1:
1. Wipe off all my Data of my old BB 9810. Make sure lates OS is installed. Delete all contacts. Sync with Outlook but from PC to Phone Only.. Use BB link to transfer the Contacts and Calendar to the Z10. This will replace any contact you have on the z10..
Option 2:
Forward any contacts from your outlook as vcard to your Z10 as email. Click on the .vcard and it will add to contacts.
Again this is a temp soltuion without 3rd party software or Icloud until BB adds this to BB link.

I developed an application for a German customer who is using Lotus Domino too.This application should be accesed through Services button on IP Phone This application queries Domino directory or Notes Personal Address Book via WebServices and displays results on IP phone. Notes not syncing with Outlook & not automatically backing up

When I upgraded to the latest version of iTunes the syncing behavior changed with my 4G. I sync music, photo's, everything but the "Info" category with my home PC's iTunes. Then at work I let Contacts, Calendars, Mail & Reminders sync via Exchange. The only thing that syncs with my work iTunes is Notes.
Before the last iTunes update, I'd plug my phone into the work PC & it would automatically sync Notes & do a backup. Now when I plug it in, the phone shows up under "Devices" but it neither syncs Notes or does a backup. Is there something I need to do to restore the previous behavior?
I've got Outlook 2010 running on the work PC. iTunes is the latest version. Thanks for any help.

Gave up on this. Found more sources stating that folder redirection does not work with iTunes which is ming blowing. As a work around we created a local user account on the computer and configured Outlook for his exchange account. He will just do syncs in the local account. He's not happy about it but it's the only option that I could think of.
