Dreamweaver upgrade - need Help

I upgraded from Dreamweaver 8 to CS5.
My site is there. But when I go to link a file that's on my computer, I get "Dynamicall-related files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for this server".
What does that mean??

How do I know if static or dynamic? I'm a new dreamweaver user.
Having a hard time right now. Everything else seems to be correct?
It may be that I didn't define the Local Site setting correct. But I don't know what to change?

Nano - OS X Upgrade Needed - HELP!

Hey,
I need some help with my friends iPod Nano... she had an old 12" PowerBook which is running 10.3.9, but it says that it needs 10.4.9 or later.
The specs (from what I can remember) is 1GHz PowerPC G4, Memory: 256(?)MB Built-In
How can she upgrade to the one she's needing for the iPod Nano, she can't afford a new computer.
Now - I'm not sure if i can do this...
But when I got my PowerBook G4, it came with Panther installed, and came with the Tiger upgrade discs (2 of them), but I last October upgraded to Leopard - so the Tiger discs have just been sitting there... could I give her these disc to upgrade her computer to Tiger and she could get the rest (.9) from the software updates?
Or is there any other way she can get what she needs.

You cannot give her your discs to use, which probably would not work anyway. She can call AppleCare and through that route buy a retail copy of Tiger, or buy it from Amazon at a higher cost, or she could upgrade here memory on the PB to 1 GB and buy Leopard.
I'd recommend the latter suggestion.

Windows 8 to 8.1 upgrade [NEED HELP]

Disabling the plugin WILL help on sites and pages that have already converted videos to HTML5 (MP4) format and no longer require FlashPlayer. WIth the plugin enabled, the page will default to playing the Flash version first, and it will crash if the plugin isn't working as it should. However, disabling the plugin will cause problems on pages that HAVEN'T been converted to HTML5 yet, and there are still quite a few of them out there.
Try resetting Firefox first: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems
If that doesn't do it, THEN reinstall it.

New to Dreamweaver and need help with fomatting font

Hi, I am new to dreamweaver and have been playing with it for a few weeks. I have Dreamweaver CS5.5 and I am making some detailed html templates for my ebay listings. I have created my tables, graphics, and colors but I am having trouble with my font formatting. Everything is looking really good, but there are a few sentences and even just a few phrases that I want to underline but when I add a text decloration and underline, it just underlines the whole area of sentenses not the specific one that I highlited. I know how to create a h1, h2, h3 etc code and add underline to it, but I don't want to have to format a h1 or h2 tag everything I want to format a little line. The reason I have been doing this is because It really is one of the only ways I have been able to figure out how to underline something. I watched some tutorials which is how I learned this. I figured out in the properties Panel on bottom of page to click on the CSS rule to create certain codes and such, but I am not sure how to do this. I tried one thing which was where it says target rule, I clicked new CSS Rule and then in then in the CSS Styles Panel on right side of screen I selected add property which I was then able to do a text decloration and underline, but it underlines many more sentenses than I am wanting or have selected. Please help so I am able to specifically choose how to underline just a word or two, and even to have just a word or two specifiaclly be a certain font, size or color. I am able to find ways to make this work on words as a whole, but not individual words or phrases.

Bear in mind that an underlined word or phrase on the web means a clickable link to most people.
So, if you want to draw attention to something on screen, use anything (font size, color etc) except for an underline.
text-decoration: underline; is only used in CSS for styling clickable links. Not for regular text.
One option is to use the HTML tag combined with CSS.

I just got the upgrade and really want to know how to use Depth in Field on video. Could anyone explain or direct me to a video tutorial. Because i bought a whole course from rippletraining.com and it doesn't show how to do this with video. Any suggestions ?

Frustrated with upgrade - NEED HELP

I had a problem on my PowerBook PowerPC G4 when I updated to Safari 3.1.1
Safari, Mail and the Software update would no longer run.
Tried everything to no avail.
Did an archive system install back to 10.4.6
Now I am unable to update to 10.4.11
I downloaded the Installer Package and when I run it I get the prompt:
"You cannot install Mac OS X Update (PowerPC) on this volume.
This volume does not meet the requirements for this update."
What am I doing wrong?

Here's another suggestion that will help in the future:
Basic Backup
Get an external Firewire drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):
1. Retrospect Desktop (Commercial - not yet universal binary)
2. Synchronize! Pro X (Commercial)
3. Synk (Backup, Standard, or Pro)
4. Deja Vu (Shareware)
5. PsynchX 2.1.1 and RsyncX 2.1 (Freeware)
6. Carbon Copy Cloner (Freeware - 3.0 is a Universal Binary)
7. SuperDuper! (Commercial)
8. Intego Personal Backup (Commercial)
9. Data Backup (Commercial)
The following utilities can also be used for backup, but cannot create bootable clones:
1. Backup (requires a .Mac account with Apple both to get the software and to use it.)
2. Toast
3. Impression
4. arRSync
Apple's Backup is a full backup tool capable of also backing up across multiple media such as CD/DVD. However, it cannot create bootable backups. It is primarily an "archiving" utility as are the other two.
Impression and Toast are disk image based backups, only. Particularly useful if you need to backup to CD/DVD across multiple media.

All you need do is remove a case cover, mount the hard drive in the enclosure and connect the cables, then re-attach the case cover. Usually the only tool required is a small or medium Phillips screwdriver.

Novice CS5 Dreamweaver User Needs Help!

I have used Dreamweaber MX 2004 to a limited extent to build some very basic web sites. I have just upgraded to CS5 and come across the AP Elements.
If I build a page using tables then when I display the results in the browser the image (table) is always in the middle of the screen and adjusts accordingly when the browser window size is changed. If I build build a page using an AP element the this is always fixed in position on the screen and rolls off the edge if the browser window is made smaller. Is there a way os getting the AP element to react the same way as a table. Perhaps I'm using the AP elements in the wrong context?

Broadband upgrade, need help with speed please

Hi all,
I recently upgraded from a very old broadband package with an old router from the 1960's to the 'upto 20meg' service, with the bloke on the phone advising we should receive about 17meg as we are close to the exchange (Worcester Park, Surrey). So when the new kit arrived the speed jumped from 2megs to about 4ish and it's now settled on about 5 after 10 days.
I've posted the stats below as i'm after some advice really because I can't make sense of it. Am I missing something here or should I be getting faster speeds?

You appear to have a stable connection however your connection speed is low for your line attenuation are you connected to the master socket ? Or an extension if you can connect to the test socket Located at the rear of the removable front plate of the master socket and recheck the hub stats and speedtest this wil eliminate any faults with your internal wiring also are you connecting the hub to your pc by wireless or ethernet cable if wireless could you try connecting by cable and again post the speed test results this will eliminate any speed losses due to wireless interference Please try these first then we can advise further

New to Dreamweaver and need help with menu alignment in IE

Hi l,
I am new to Dreamweaver, in fact this is my first ever website / question...

Even went back to IE 6. Which is why I asked for a screenshot. If you can go back to the person who told you about the design flaw ask them for a screenshot. Otherwise I can't really do much more than shoot in the dark.

Errors in Dreamweaver CS4 need help

What I have done so far:
1. renamed Configuration folder
2. Drilled down and found the .js file in DW3 and copied it in
3. Reinstalled DW
If anyone could shed some light on why all of a sudden this is happening I would greatly appreciate it.

I sounds like your Recordset code may be corrupted. Try deleting the Recordset and recreating it.

N73 Just upgraded need help

Hi,
I have just upgraded my software for my Nokia N73 now have V4.0726.2.0.1.
I now cant recieve any text or put my memory card back in phone. keep getting data full, please delete some data.
I dont know what to do.

The other point, if you want to isolate a problem. Try borrow a MiniSD card from someone and put it in your phone. If it would be OK, then your card. If it wouldn't, then your phone. Try that.

January upgrade, need help.

Ok after restoring my itouch after problem (it got fixed) I read from someone that you would need a file called iPod Touch app pack 4A97 but after that what do I do with it?

Ok my question is answered all anyone has to do is create a shortcut with the app pack then open it and have your ipod connected then you click sync and wait for about 4-5 minutes and it should work.

New to Dreamweaver and need help with PDF and Word

I'm trying to put forms on my web page http://www.troop4084.org and I cannot get them to show up on the internet. I have them in the folder. If there is a step-by-step process to do this?
