Dreamweaver ZXP Extensions will install in AEM CS6 but not in AEM CC

The ZXP Extensions install just fine in AEM CS6 but when I go to install in CC I get the Error Below. I have uninstalled CS6 Suite Completely and 'removed preferences', then fresh installed the latest version of AEM CC but still get the error. I reinstalled AEM CS6 & Dreamweaver CS6 and, to test the integrity of the file, installed the ZXP files just fine. I've also turned off the preferences too (in AEM CC) and still the same error. HELP! Would love to use Dreamweaver CC but can't get any of my extensions to install! OS = Windows 8.1, All Software is the Latest most up-to-date versions.

I wonder whether you can't install ALL signed DW extensions or just one or more specific extension(s). Please check "Enable detailed logging" option in preferences dialog box, restart AEM, then try to install extension. After reproducing the problem, quit AEM, then send the log file in "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CC\Log" folder to [email protected]

1- take a look at the jar part of the java tutorial here http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/deployment/jar/

No extensions will install in Safari 5.01

Upgraded to 5.01 so i could use the extension library from Apple, but none of the extensions will install.
Extensions are turned on in the preference pane, but every time I try to install one I get this message. "Safari can't install this extension" An error occurred while installing the extension xxxxxx. xxxxx can be replaced by any extension name. I have tried all of them and none will install.
I moved the extension .plist to the trash and tried again, but no success. Any suggestions?

I installed the reload extension a while ago, before Safari 5.0.1 (as you know you could activate extensions in Safari 5), but it crashed Safari so I removed it.
Combing through the extensions gallery I saw it there but decided not to bother - Safari already has a reload 'button' at the end of the URL bar, and Command-R does the same thing - and after reading your experience I definitely won't bother!

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that when trying to print from your laptop that you get a communication error message.
To better assist you, would you please provide some further information:
1)       How is the printer connected (USB cable, ethernet or wireless)?
2)      When you installed the printer on your laptop did you set it up with a USB cable? If yes, did you switch the connection type on the laptop from USB cable to ethernet/wireless?
3)      What version of Windows operating system are you running on the laptop (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, etc)?
4)      When printing from your iPhone are you using Apple's AirPrint or HP's ePrint app?

if you downloaded driver updates through bootcamp onto flash drive then once windows is installed, open the flash drive in windows. You'll see an application called Setup. Double click on it and it will install all the drivers for wireless and ethernet and usb.
You cant just tell windows to search for driver updates. These EXPERTS aren't telling you this.

Update: It seems as though the phone will charge if I plug it in and then turn it off. It will not charge while the phone is on. Also iTunes will not recognize it, so I can't sync or anything. I read somewhere that it could be a fuse somewhere?? Or maybe the dock connector. Where is the best place to get this repaired?

SQL patch mismatch: Installed in the PDB but not in the CDB - how to correct?

I have a 12.1.0.1 database in which I wanted to migrate a number of PDBs to AL32UTF character set. To do this I created a second (temporary) database with the correct characterset, unplugged and re-plugged each PDB and ran the DMA U to migrate the PDBs - all went well.
I then dropped the first database and built another again with the correct characterset.
When I unplug and replug the PDBs from the temporary to the new database I get the following PDB violation:
PDB_ACPT_CLONE SQL patch 19648840 mismatch: Installed in the PDB but not in the CDB.
This patch had been applied to the original database and then rolled back before the temporary and new databases were created.

Are you sure all PDBs were open when the patch was applied?
The more common issue is when one version of Apex is installed in the root and a different version installed in a PDB and the PDB is plugged in.

An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. The iPod sees the rebuilt computer as a new iTunes library. To make this computer the syncing computer
- Transfer iTunes purchases:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
newer copy
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.

Not a lot that you can do about it - except returning the CS6 update, and getting the full version. Do remember that Fireworks is no longer developed by Adobe, and is effectively a "dead" application. You may want to invest your money in alternative software.
Alternatively, try to seek out a legit copy of CS5, and update that one. You might be successful on ebay - but there are a lot of illegal versions on sale on ebay, unfortunately.
