Drill down report problem

Hello all,
I am working on Drildown Reports.
The report is working perfectly and it is displaying the output correctly.
I am able to see my Report output in Grid display.
The problem is I have some Z fields in my report.
When i am displaying with Charactersic Display-->Key and Name
For the standard fields i am able to see the value and its description but i am not able to see the description for the Z fields.
What would be the problem.
This fields has the checktabe with the Text.
Please help me.

Drill-Down Report Printing Problem for Selection Parameters

Dear Experts,
Have tried to configure Drill-Down Report for Vendor Balances,
Am having trouble when printing this drill-down report, Printing is coming OK but it comes with ALL selection parameters, for e.g, have entered 20 vendor codes for the balance display, system first prints all selection parameters and then it prints the output of vendor balances,
User does not want selection Parameters to be printed with the Report Output. Please find below screenshot for the problem.

Have already looked these setting, but these are not helping really, PFB screenshot for settings am having in my system, if you have any idea which can avoid User Input Parameters from printing then it will be really great help

Problem in accessing the drill down report via RRI

I have a problem with the drill down report.I have two reports Q1 and Q2 where Iam navigating to Q2 from Q1 via RRI.But when I try to drill down to the Report Q2 It gets into an unending state of query execution(to say shortly it gets struck).
This report was working fine earlier.But very Recently I encountered this problem.I started debugging the query at RSRT.For the report Q1 just goes fine but when I drill down to Q2 it gets struck.This is the part of code where the report end up in an unending state.Infact it gets struck exactly while calling the method...

Problem creating Drill-Down report

Hi,
I have problem in creating a drill-down report,got confused how to do it. this is my requirement.
The main portion that will be first displayed contains a group on match_code and has its own detail section. now when the user selects one of these match_code it should drill down to give more information about this match_code, so the Drill down should also have its own detail section that will be hide and drilldown ok.
If this the proper way to do it. I will be creating a drill down report for the first time.

Hello Reena,
If I understand your situation correctly you have a group on match_code and a details and b section. You want the Group Header and Details a sections to appear on the first "page" or drilldowngrouplevel 0. When the user drills down you want the Details b section to appear.
You can do that using the drilldowngrouplevel function.
Set the details b section to suppress when drilldowngrouplevel = 0, this section will only appear after drilldown.
I am not sure if you still want the details a or group sections to appear after drilldown, if you do then there is no need for conditional suppression. If you don't then use a conditional suppression formula for those sections of drilldowngrouplevel <> 0

Problem in drill down report

I am generating Fi drill down reporting for the G/L account balances.It is displying perfectly.
I have a some problem.I have some zz fields in the BSEG table .I am maintaing froien key realtion shipy table from another ztable.In the BSEG i have maintained PRimary key field of of z table in the forign key relationship.BUt i need the text also from the primary table.
Is there any possiablity to write the code in the dril down report

Parameter Problem with Drill down reports

Hi,
I have created a drill down report.
I have a master report which list all the employee names and a detail report which list the contact details for each employee selected.
The URL looks like this http://webser/dev60cgi/rwcgi60.exe?detail&p_empid = 1200
detail is a kepmapping entry in cgicmd
this does not work and the detail report does not get the p_empid value.
Now if i enter the compelete url like http://webser/dev60cgi/rwcgi60.exe?server=rep_ss&report=det.rdf......
it works.
Any suggestions !

Hi,
I got this resolved by using javascript and doing explicit form submit. As our information is highly secured we don't want the users to see any of the URL links from href, browser or from view source.
I got the first two resolved but when i do a view source i could se in header sections of html view souce the follwing code

< base href="http://webser.../522222.htm>
</head>
is there any way using reports i can hide this.
Any help, suggestions or reference will be highly apprecaited.

Problem with Drill down reports demo

Hi,
Did somebody successfully installed the
drill down demo. I am not able to get the results here getting some javascript error
"object expected".
I have created a schema,
also the cgicmd.dat report variables
attahced the rep_util file.
I could see the invoices report and the product link displays
javascript:opendetailwin('http:/myserver/dev60cgi/rwcgi60.exe?item+101863')
when i clik on the above link i get object expected error.
The Javascript on view source page looks like this

Hello,
Try making your hyperlink in the master report look like this:
http://webserver/dev60cgi/rwcgi60.exe?detail+p_contactid=&<contact_id1>
The &<column_name> reference in a hyperlink will tell Reports to substitute the current value of that column in the resultant string.

which pass parameters to the next report using the
srw.run_report package. I have a problem with the lowest level
report where no errors are reported but the report is generated
as a blank page. When run in isolation, i.e. filling in the
paramters manually, the report works perfectly well. Does anyone
have any ideas? Also, when passing more than one parameter, do
you just have to use the concatenation operator (

FSI0 - Drill Down Reports for Account Balance Analysis

Any orientation on this issue will be greatly appreciated.
These are the steps I did to create a new Drill-Down Report for my customer.
1. Created and modified a new Form based on the Form for the Financial Statement Analysis 0SAPBLNCE-04 (Periodic Actual vs Actual) using Transaction FSI4 (Create) and FSI5 (Change)
2. Created and modified a new Report with reference to the Form I just created using transactions FSI1 (Create) and FSI2 (Change)
3. I select "Expand: Completely" to see all Account Balances
3. All the totals match between the Original Standard Report and the new report I just created.
4. On both reports, when I select a Balance and then select the GOTO \ Line Items to get the list of documents I get the following results:
==> Most of the cases (I would say probably 80% of the cases) the Account Balance I selected matches with the Total of Line Items that is displayed when I do the GOTO \ Line Items
==> In some cases (just a few) the Account Balance does not match at all with the totals of Line Items that is displayed when I do the GOTO \ Line Items
Can somebody explain why ? Shouldn't the totals match all the time since I am specifically selecting a balance to see all its line items? Where are the missing line items?
Since these are just a few cases my customer is okay with it but he would like to hear a logic explanation why the Account Balance and its line items do not match on this report.

There is a possibility that you have activate line item display for some of the accounts at a later stage. Meaning that earlier postings were not be shown for the earlier postings but only totals will be made available. Therefore, obviously there is bound to be difference between line item report and totals report.
You need to identify which accounts are being changed with line item display at a later stage.
In case if you forget to keep GL Line item display for an account, but the posting are already made the following steps you would required to get the line item display retrospectively.
1. Note that you are NOT required to make the balance of that GL account to ZERO. Please do not confuse with Open Item Management.
2. Put the check box line item display for the account in FS00. Make sure you are entering right company code.
3. Block the account for posting in COA Segment and Company Code Segment in FS00
4. Go to SA38 and run program RFSEPA01 (Give correct GL Account and Company Code)
5. Now, remove the block you kept on the GL Account in FS00.
This will reset the line item display retrospectively.

        I want to get the output data of drill down report into z-program.
       Actually,if the output is only one, I can get into z-program,
      But, Here the report consists 3 alv outputs. when double clicking function happens, it will direct to another alv output.
    Those, all the outputs of report i want to get into z-program.

Set headers for drill-down reports.

The problem we have by now is when printing a report, selected characteristis are showed in header as "multiple values" instead of showing the real values that user have choose.
Does anybody knows how to set headers for drill-down reports in order to see selected characteristics?

I have found yet they way to show in the header the report parameters, I mean, the selection criterias that user used when execute the report... I was able to show selected characteristics inside de report but not the selection criteria...
Do you know what I have lost? or what to use for this?

Drill Down Reports - Very Urgent

I have the following situation.
I want to create a drill down report and pass parameters from the
master report to the detail.
I built 2 simple tabular reports Drill1 (master) and Drill2 (detail). I have placed a button in the repeating frame of the Drill1 report, and I wrote the following code in its trigger:
srw.run_report('report=DRILL2');
I have tested the report and it works just fine.
But .... I want to pass as a parameter to the second report the value of a field. According to the documentation I shall change the button trigger to
srw.run_report('report=DRILL2 paramform=No p_1=''' || :field1 || ''''); -- (the value is a string)
I did so but it gives me the REP-0159 error. Am I doing something wrong?
Note that I am using reports version 6.8.12.1

The Problem seems to be with the quotes in your srw.run_report command line . The appropriate commandline should be
srw.run_report('report=DRILL2 paramform=No p_1='||:field1||' ... <rest of the cmd line >');
( note the quotes before / after ||:fie1d1|| .. )
