Drill Down to Album Menu Makes Ipod Mini Die
Hi everyone,
I have a NEW problem with my Ipod Mini that just started in the last couple of days.
It'll play on shuffle with no problem, but if I want to listen to a particular album and go to the "Album" menu, as soon as I click on play, the thing dies.
Completely.
This morning it took me 29 minutes of fiddling with the thing to finally get it to reset.
Is there anything that can be done for this?

Ok, I was wrong.
It's not just when I drill down to the "Album" menu, but if I touch the wheel wrong when it's in a bad mood.
It'll even happen if I twist the headphone jack.
Any ideas?

Sorry, no. Try letting it dry completely for a week or two without turning it on or connecting it to anything & see if it comes back to life. -
Menu of ipod mini isnt working
The menu of my ipod mini isn't working. I have tried resetting it, and the menu comes back on, but I can't get back to it after I pick one song, I have to reset it again. Does any one know how to help me?

My name is Nikki, and I have an Ipod mini that has recently started doing the same thing. I just spent some time looking through the Apple website and haven't found anything to address this issue. So as I am very unhelpful to you, I also am having the same problem. I just reset mine and played a song and it did take me back to the menu after playing a song, however; it is still plugged into my computer. Meanwhile, hopefully someone may be able to provide some answers, and I will let you know what happens in the next few days of using my mini. Goodluck. -
Implementing drill down functionality for BI reports
Hi All,
We want to integrate some BI reports in EP. What we want to achieve is:
Display a graph (eg indicating sales revenue) or table in the iView
Upon user click, drill down the report to view by various criteria.
Using VC, we managed to implement drill down using a 'button', i.e. user selects the row or region in graph and clicks on a button to trigger the drill down.
We want to improvise on the interface for triggering drill down. Instead of having to select a row and clicking on the button, can we trigger drill down using context menu (using right click of mouse) or alternatively, clicking on a row or column in the graph? Would appreciate any inputs on this or alternative methods of implementing this. Thanks!

I have added a 5 songs from a single album and in Ipod it comes as enigma album and in that one song is available and another album named enigma and another song. IT happens for 5 songs also. How to make all the 5 songs in one album name Enigma???
I am working on a friend of mine's 15g ipod(W/dock connector)and I am having the same trouble except it does it to all the songs. I have tried reseting it multiple times, but to no avail.
I am not sure that this runs on windows XP, it is absolutly archaic (compared to my 5th gen. 30g video).

Feature Request: Make RECENTS better with two more drill down options
Hi everyone!
I love my iPhone but - as with everything - one can make things get even better... Not sure where to post so I try here. Would love to hear if you feel the same need:
I realize that RECENTS within the phone application could be improved quite a bit by adding two simple buttons at the top.
Right now there is "ALL" and "MISSED"... being able to drill down the MISSED calls is great, but many times I would like to be able to drill down:
* outgoing calls (aka those placed by me via iPhone)
* incoming calls (aka those that I received on my iPhone)
Would love to hear what others think about that. If we there will be many replies chances are good that Apple will fix this with a software update. It should be very little work on Apple's side.

The drop down view by menu (Song, album, etc) at the right side of the iTunes window is like a ghost. It flashes into view for a millisecond once in awhile but never lets me click on it. Anyone know what this is about and what to do?
Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

In OBIEE charts, how do you make drill downs work on custom formulas?
I posted this over on Linked In and didn't get an anser, so I'm hoping someone here has an answer.
I'm writing a summary query / chart for a dashboard in OBIEE 10.1 with a drill down (technically it's a "navigation") for more information. This chart breaks down the data by fiscal quarter and by geography (both are columns in the subject area) and I can get this drill down to work just fine. But I also have this chart broken down by some custom calculated fields (CASE WHEN statements) that classify revenue into Forecast / At Risk / Upside etc. (which are not columns or values of columns within the subject area).
When I add a drill down or navigate function onto those calculated columns, I'm getting a full data set ... not a filtered data set for that particular calculated field. (Yes, I have all of the IS PROMPTED filters set up correctly, and yes the formulas in the source and destination queries are identical).
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the drill down or navigation work on custom formulas?

We are on BI 7.0 patch 14.0
I have the Filter and Drill Down by option checked in the context menu Web item in WAD . However when I preview on the Web what happens is that the characteristic that I am using the filter and drill down on shows up horizontally as opposed to in a column.
For eg: If I have the following data initially
01/01/2007 250
02/01/2007 500.
I keep my cursor on 01/01/2007 and do a filter and drill down by 0calqtr then what I see now is
01/2007 02/2007 03/2007 04/2007
instead of
01/2007
02/2007
03/2007
04/2007.
Each CalQtr will have a key figure Value beside it in the horizontal mode.
This happens only when I pick the characteristic on the Graph. On the Web Item Analysis it works fine. Has anyone faced this issue before. This worked fine when it was WAD 3.5. This affects the presentation of the graph. For Objects that have not been migrated the result still shows fine.Hi,

IPOD mini keeps shutting down suddenly.
