Drill though not active in EVDRE report

Hi,
I have created DB drill through and it works fine in an any by any report but the drill through icon is disable when i try to drill through an EVDRE report.
sometimes the drill through button is enabled but i am getting connection error "Connection failure or open result set failed"
please give your suggestion.

A few clarification questions are needed:
What version are you working on?
Is the ANY by ANY and EVDRE report? or is it an old style report?
How many keys are you using? Is this only drillable on Account, or entity, more?
If you have a simple drill thru on Account, does it work consistently?
That is how I would approach this as a test...

The expenditure organization is not active for Expense Report

Greetings to all,
We ran into a problem, where a person submitted an expense report with project related information. The exp report gets an error in the workflow. When we look at the workflow error message is: This expense report failed payables validation.
When we look at the notification for error message, shows the expense report and for the line that has a problem, gives the following error message:
"The expenditure organization is not active."
We check the org in HRMS, we look up the org and has the following setups:
HRMS-->work structures--> organization (query the cost center)
then when looking at the cost center has the following:
under organization classifications:
Project Expenditure/Event Organization
Project Task Owning Organization
HR Organization
Then looking at hrms-->organization--->hierarchy
query for hierarchy-->we get our hierarchy,
then under organization-->query again for our main org, we see then the subordinates which we see the cost center again.
Everything looks good our point of view.
If have researched this issue on ML and have read the following notes: 423267.1, but this does not resolve our issue.
If someone has encountered this problem, can you share the additional steps to troubleshoot this issue.

It turns out that the employees were on LOA on the dates that they were charging time. So the message didn't really describe what the actual problem was. What happened is that the employees had gone on LOA and then returned to work, but HR had not yet returned them to active assignment. They entered their timecards as they normally had, but they did not pass validation because they weren't active on the dates they were trying to charge.
I would have looked at the assignment earlier in the process if the error message had been employee-oriented instead of referring to the org, but at least the problem is solved. Thanks for everybody's input!

VBA After_Expand is not working in EVDRE Report

Hello Everyone,
I am working on a report that started redisplaying rows that are grouped and hidden after clicking on expand. I created a sub routine in VBA code that will hide the rows. I then created the After_Expand function to call the subroutine where it should automatically hide the rows once the expand button is selected. The After_Expand code is not working for some reason. When I click on the expand button the rows still re-display. However, If I click on the code in the VBA editor the rows are hidden after the expand. What can I do to make this happen automatically. The code is below.

Dear Eleasha Counts,
As I know and usually use the VBA in Input schedule. I have 2 opinion like as :
1. You can change "Sub HideRows()....End Sub" to be "Function HideRows()..End Function"
2. You should put your VBA function (HideRows and After_Expand) in Modules.
    The step to add the modules in Ms.Excel:
     a. Open the VBAProject through Ms.Excel
     b. Right-click "Microsoft Excel Objects" and choose "Insert-Module".

If you have used ALV grid for displaying the customized report then ensure specific field of total and subtotal have the following code.

When I totally close eyetv and reopen eyetv and open a live tv window the closed captioning comes back. I never noticed this with os leopard, Just after i installed os snow leopard. All software is up to date only I think, thanks to apple they droped support for logic express. Thanks for any suggestions.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

Usually this points to having some kind of earlier trial version still installed on your system. However without more details you are not likely to find an answer. Try this for a start:

will do this for you.

Drill-down Report, Form not completely showed in Report

Hiya!!
I'm working with Drill-down Report. Im creating a kind of P&L report but it has a lot of lines because I need to create one P&L report for every Region (Profit Center Group), and I need it in a fixed form.
The problem I have is that my Form has approximately 1080 lines but when I execute the Report (Tx FXI0), the Report just show 1020 lines and I don't have any error message. The output type I have choosen is graphical Report output "106 Navigation control, detail list" by now, but I already tried with all the possiblilities there are (Tx FXI2).
Does anybody knows If there is any limit for the output? If not, does anybody know where do I have the problem?

HI ,i had my report server on SQL SERVER 2005,and for
reporting service i am using the sql server reporting services 2008R2,i created a report which i am supposed to display in Website ,i
created the rdl using the BIDS 2008 and , its throwing me an error because my report server is in 2005 and my rdl is in 2008 and i was using it in VS2008 Report viewer control,i was told that i am supposed to create rdl in 05 in order to get
it run ,but i dont want to create another one since it was pretty big and took lot of time to design it
Is there any way i can use the same rdl with that report server ,one of my collegue told that i can do in one way (using catalog of SQL server 2008 Reporting in sql server 2005 report server database i did'nt get that much as iam not aware of that
catalog stuff .and i tried to configure the report server once again and i am getting this new error

GO TO report server configuration and go to Encryption keys and delete encryption keys and try to run the URL again, it works.
I had SSRS2008 two installations, the second one gave this problem, this solution helped resolve it. Thank you.

Credit Management-Sales value updated in FD32 even though credit set up is not active

Dear Team,
We are facing an issue where, for a sample order - sales value got updated as open sales order value against a customer in FD33.
Credit set up is not active for the sales order type (OVAK) or the delivery type (OVAD). Since this has occurred in 2003, we have no clue what exactly has happened. We cannot locate any change logs in the configuration level.
1) What is the possibility for credit management to be active for a document type, which was not meant for credit set up?
2) How to remove the open order/ delivery value for the customer?

Credit set up is not active for the sales order type (OVAK) or the delivery type (OVAD).
the above two settings are credit checks at what level( example order level or delivery etc) you what to block the customer if the customer payer exceeds the credit limit.
Where as if the credit active field is active in VOV7 in corresponding item category, system update the respective document values in to credit management (FD32/33) in your example open order value.
Even though OVAK, OVAD settings are not done still system update the document values in to FD33 subject to credit active field is active in t code VOV7 .
Please check in your item category whether credit active field active.

LT09 - Transfer Order User Exit is not getting trigerred though its active

I am trying to assign the enhancement : MWMTO001
( Enhancements for end of transfer order generation )
which contains the user exit component : EXIT_SAPLL03T_001
I have created a project in CMOD and assigned the enhancement.
When I execute the TCode LT09 for transfer order, I noticed that this exit is not getting trigerred ...
I need to call a smartform whenever we save the data in the T-code LT09.
Am i using a wrong Exit ? Please help me to find out why this exit is not getting triggered though its activated ....

According to 2nd scenario, can u suggest how to find out the correct exit...
Actually I written a print prgm in include of EXIT_SAPLL03T_001 & designed SMARTFORM for that...
if I do process thru LT09 transaction & save that SMARTFORM should be triggered which is not happening...I put break points & tried but the exit is not triggering.
pls suggest how to find out the correct exit of LT09 .

ESS Time Statement Report not Active?

I am running ERP2004 ESS with IDES. I think were on SP9. I have adobe document services installed and its working ok with other reports, however when I try to run the Time Statement report I get an error "Print program not activated for form SAP_TIM_99_0001".
I tried going into transaction HRFORMS to active it, but it says there is an error in the code, some variable is not declared. The code is out of the box and can't be changed so I'm thinking these could be the possible problems:
     1. The SAP_TIM_99_0001 form delivered in the SP has errors and I need to apply a new SP level.
     2. I am not trying to active the program right. (Currently I am going into HRFORMS, selecting the report, then activating it)
     3. There needs to be some configue done that will help this compile right.
Please let me know if you have any insight to this problem and if you have it working yourself.

I'm working with ERP2005 ECC 6.0 Portal: 2004s SP7
When I try to open the Time Statement in the workset Working Time I receive the same error message, but in this case, say that the Form SAP_TimeSlip is missing.
I went to that transaction you mencioned and the Form is already Activated.
Can you help me with this issue?

The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can
contain four permitted values: 01, 02, 03 and 70.
Activity 03 corresponds to the minimum authorization, which is the
most restricted one: You can only select layouts which have
been configured already. In particular, all of the other functions
named above are inactive with activity 03.
I guess that your user-id have set activity 03 for this object.
The SAP notes 374656 and 409190 are recommended.
So, if the values 01 and 02 are not included, then
the user can't change and save layouts.
For the line item display in FI the authorization
object FI_IT_ALV has been created as an extra security check in addi-
tion to the ALV authorization object S_ALV_LAYO.
Please check note 374656 where you should be able to find
relevant info about this. Also note 637554 should be helpful.

EVDRE reports stopped working though data in BI

Hello Experts,
I had created some reports in EVDRE, they were working perfectly fine for few days but all of a sudden they stopped working for me. When I "Expand All", everything clears out and all I have is a blank sheet. I checked the BI, data is there in the backend. The same reports are working on other users' machines but not for me; I tired logging in with my details on a colleague's machine and the report works. Then it stopped working on another user's machine also. I can understand if some report gets corrupted but then it should be for all the users. I am clue less.
Will be grateful for all guidance.

I have checked the AppSet status and I have administrator rights.
As i said the report was working with my login at another user's system but after a few days stopped working for him also. Its like EVDRE reports refuse to work smoothly after sometime.
I have read on SDN where people are saying EVDRE reports stopped working after sometime and they had to create new reports.
Request you to share your experiences where EVDRE has been running for say 2+ years. Does EVDRE work as expected for long periods of time or they are unstable?

we use BPC 5.1. (SP6) With several EVDRE reports we experience that our excell session sometimes stops working, typically when changing the CV and expanding again. At the bottom of the excell we see the statements:
"hiding columns" or also "applying datarange formulas".
I wait for more than 10 minutes, but nothing changes and I can't do anything anymore and have to abort excell with CTRL + ALT + DEL ...
Does anyone experience the same problems? (We work with Office 2007)

I cannot test with Office 2003 since I don't have it installed ..., I typically have it with EVDRE reports, not with schedules created from a template. Numbers of members to be expanded, maximum 10, for which 10 accounts are displayed (so max 100 lines) ... We do not have many data in our system yet, lets say 20.000 records max.
