Drilling across to the instance in the BPEL console

Howdy,
I have a streaming list in BAM, it contains the BPEL instance ID.
I would like to use this to do a drill across directly into the instance in the BPEL console.
Is this possible? And if so how to?
Tack och Hej
/Eskil

hello Eskil - This is a late reply. Did you get this solved. Else see the sample on OTN for doing this. (also the view type - not streaminglilst I think updated ordered list). You can also contact oracle rep in Sweden for the details. Hey Daur. Sanjeev

  • How can I make the Instance name the same as the name of the Movie clip in an animation.

    Hi, I am an animator for a small game project and I have this really big problem. Even though I used flash for animation for a long time I am a newbie when it comes to something technical. I just received a request to make every movie clip that I use  to have a consistent <Instance name> in every frame of the animation. Only if they told me this earlier... Is there an easier way to make the <Instance name> the same as the name of the Movie clip used other than manually entering it. I have 16 characters with 12 body parts with 20 animations each with about 6-7 frames for each body part it will take me months and nightmares evey night to enter everything by hand. Please help me keep my sanity!
    I'm not sure if I explain correctly, so here is a picture:
    Thank you!

    Thank you for the fast answer! I found this video on jsfl functionality that deals with a similar problem, I am not a coder so it will take me some time to figure it out, but when I do I will probably post the answer here. Here is the video:

  • How to get the instance id of BPEL in OSB

    We have the process in OSB which will invoke the BPEL ansync process and returns success once the BPEL is invoked.
    Can we refer/get the BPEL instance id in OSB by anymeans?

    There is another option. You may set the unique instance name in BPEL process based on some value in the payload. From OSB you may query composite_instance table of SOAINFRA schema on the basis of instance name (title column) and/or composite name (composite_dn column) to get the value of instance id (ID column) and return it in response from OSB.

  • How to  identify the instance where the service is running through sqlplus

    Hello,
    Suppose, this is a 2 node rac and where the failover is on and load balance is off.
    I just want to know, that when during failover the service will points out to other instance.
    1) Want to know, when the service gets failover after connecting to database [i.e., sqlplus]
    2) Want to know, the instance where my service is running presently after connecting to the database. [i.e., sqlplus]
    We are using ORACLE CLUSTERWARE 11G R1 and database 11g R1.
    And also, I want to take the awr snapshot report where my servie is running at that point of time. Is there any way to find it out. Unnecessarily i don't want to generate the report for other instances as well.

  • Obtaining the instance of the processing node

    I have a process that polls a database and I only want one soa instance to poll the database.
    I have found the meta link document that says how to do it.
    They provided the following example:
    <binding name="receiveService_binding" type="tns:receiveService_ptt">
    <pc:inbound_binding/>
    <operation name="receive">
    <jca:operation
    ActivationSpec="oracle.tip.adapter.db.DBActivationSpec"
    DescriptorName="receiveService.Movies"
    QueryName="receiveService"
    PollingStrategyName="LogicalDeletePollingStrategy"
    MarkReadFieldName="DELETED"
    MarkReadValue="READ${instance}"
    MarkReservedValue="MINE${instance}"
    MarkUnreadValue="FALSE"
    SequencingFieldName="TITLE"
    MaxRaiseSize="5"
    MaxTransactionSize="5"
    PollingInterval="5"
    NumberOfThreads="1"
    DelayCommit="false"
    PollForChildUpdates="false"
    UseBatchDestroy="false"
    ReturnSingleResultSet="false"
    MappingsMetaDataURL="receiveService_toplink_mappings.xml" />
    <input/>
    </operation>
    </binding>
    The only problem I am having is when I get the ${instance} a 0 is returned instead of the instance number.
    Am I missing something in the configuration of the soa instance or what???
    thanks
    james

    Disabled services cannot be started.
    You need to change its status to Manual to be able to do that.
    Once done, then to start:
    C:\> net start OracleService<your_sid>to stop:
    C:\> net stop OracleService<your_sid>

  • Instance missing in BPEL console

    Hi,
    I have a process say "THIRD", it has database adapters and exception handling for each scope as well. In the case of any exception in "THIRD", the process calls the another process say "EMAIL" which is only meant for e-mail notification.
    Now the situation:
    When sometimes the process name "THIRD" is invoked from client(Oracle Apps/BES) first time in the morning and if any of the DB adapter throws exception, the instance of "EMAIL" is created and send the mail too. But if we try to find out the instance of "THIRD" which cause the problem is missing in BPEL Console.
    Moreover, it happens only first time in the morning and doesn't happen everyday.
    Thanks in advance.

    Is your BPEL deployed on OC4J?
    Described property is here
    <ORAHOME>\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home\config\server.xml
    restart OC4J. Check also BPEL domain parameter syncMaxWaitTime (From BPEL Console-> Manage BPEL Domain). syncMaxWaitTime should be less than transaction-config timeout. Otherwise it is not working properly.

  • Oracle BPEL Console audit trail showing incorrect information

    Hi all,
    I am using Oracle BPEL 10.1.3.3 on Red Hat Linux server and 10g R2DB as the dehydration store.
    My processes whether synchronous or empty are all executing properly without any error and in the 'Instances' tab under BPEL console they are shown as completed succesfully,however when I click on a particular instance and try to view the audit trail each activity is shown as pending .........but the Input and Output of those activities are all correct.
    Infact even the Assign and Transformation activities are shown as pending.
    Neither domain nor opmn log files show any error.
    Can anyone please let me know what can be the possible cause?This is very urgent.
    Thanks.

    Audit trail (if it's turned on) is persisted only in database. What you see in console is just visual representation of data in XML fashion. But behind the scenes is allways database. Even in developer installation (which you are probably using) is database. It is Oracle Lite (Olite).

  • How to suppress the drill across navigation in the nav block

    Hi All,
    In BW 3.5 in the web template I have a generic navigation block each characteristic in the nav block as a Drill down and a drill across navigation icon. In my web template I do not want the drill across for all characteristics I want only drill down.
    So what I did was include the following code in the nav block HTML
    param name="MODIFY_CLASS" value="CL_RSMRM_MKTCAL_MT_FILTER"/>
    <param name="CLOSED" value="X"/>
    But this suppressed both drlll down and dril across how can I suppress only drill across in columns and retain the drill down by rows.
    Thanks
    Karen

    Thanks Francois.
    Can you explain where I can use the POST?
    Since I tried use POST in detail block in post-block/when-validate-record/post-insert.... but not success.
    Thank you.

  • Problem connecting to OIM instance with the Design Console

    Hello,
    I've got questions about how to use the design console to connect to an OIM instance. I'm not the one who has set up the instance and the one who did cannot help me much. He did give me root access on the machine though.
    So first, I'm wondering how do I figure out which port I should connect to. All the doc I can find says that default port is 14000, but I don't understand what it's referring to. I can access to the Web Administration page for Fusion Middleware Control by going to <server_ip>:7001/em. Should I use port 7001? I can figure out that 14000 might not be the correct port because "netstat" does not show anything listening on that port.
    My second question is related to the credentials I should use to login to the console. According to the doc and tutorials I found, the user should be xelsysadm. However the person who has set up the instance does not remember having explicitly set a password for this user. Is it possible to log in to the console using the weblogic admin user?
    I've tried a couple of things, but nothing has worked so far. I always get an error of some some sort. I always get an Invalid Login, except when I log in with the weblogic user and set the following properties in xlconfig.xml:
    ApplicationURL= http://<server_ip>:7001/xlWebApp/loginWorkflowRenderer.do
    java.naming.provider.url= t3://<server_ip>:7001/oim
    With these config, I get this exception:
    javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: While trying to lookup 'ejb.stateful.tcDataBase#com.thortech.xl.ejb.interfaces.tcDataBaseRemote' didn't find subcontext 'stateful'. Resolved 'ejb'
    So that's pretty much where I'm at. I can't find any information that can help me, so any hint would be appreciated.
    Thanks for your time,
    jtellier

    try to login in weblogic console the port will be 7001. if you are able to do this then
    goto->service->security->realim->select user and groups (try to find the correct path)
    create user and then assign administrator groups to this user
    login with this user/password into OIM
    But for design console you don't need any url. if it is configured. go to <IDM_HOME>/designconsole/ and run xlclient.sh
    --nayan

  • Present instances in the order they are called

    I created this template for teachers to create assessment items. When they click the Add Question Set button, they get a set of buttons for each type of  question. Right now, regardless of what order they click the buttons, the instances of the question subforms show up in the order they are laid out in the designer, and all the questions of one type stay together. I need the question types to appear in the order the buttons are clicked. How do I do this? I have attached my form.
    Thanks!

    This makes sense to me; unfortunately, it's not working. I've tried a few different ways.
    I set the inclusive subform to hidden and then used this script on the button to show just the particular subform I wanted:
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset._Questiondetail.addInstance(1);
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.MCdetail.presence="visible";
    I set the inclusive subform to visible and all the internal subforms to invisible and used the same script:
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset._Questiondetail.addInstance(1);
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.MCdetail.presence="visible";
    I set everything to visible and then used this script to try to hide the ones I don't want to see:
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset._Questiondetail.addInstance(1);
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.MSdetail.presence="invisible";
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.Matchingdetail.presence="invisibl e";
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.SAdetail.presence="invisible";
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.TFdetail.presence="invisible";
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.orderingdetail.presence="invisibl e";
    xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail.FIBdetail.presence="invisible";
    Then I realized what the problem is. I can't set the inclusive subform (xfa.form.assessment.Questions.Questionset.Questiondetail) to "positioned". It needs to be "flowed" because the subforms within it for each question type have to be able to expand. As long as it's not "positioned" I can't call instances of it, right? Is there a way around this?

  • Multiple instances of the same entity bean out of sync

    Env: NT4.0SP6/jdk build 1.3.1-b24/oc4j 1.0.2.2.1
    Scenario:
    A) Session Bean(SB) 1 loads Entity Bean (EB) 1.
    B) Another Session Bean, SB2, loads the same EB1 (same pk).
    (It turns out that oc4j loads 2 instances of the same EB1.)
    C) SB1 changes data of EB1, and shows the data. All ok. The data
    is there in database, shows up fine on the screen.
    NOTE: the second instance of EB1 which is referenced by SB2 does
    not receive any ejbLoad/... etc calls at this time.
    D) Now SB2 tries to load the same EB with a different pk(EB2),
    immediately causing oc4j to issue ejbStore to the 2nd instance
    of EB1 (referenced by SB2), making it overwrite the changes made
    by the EB1 referenced by SB1 (step C above).
    I tried exclusive-write-access=false setting in orion-ejb-
    jar.xml,
    and it solved the above problem by making only one instance of
    the EB with the same pk, and making sure ejbLoad/Store was
    called around each biz. method.
    However, I don't see any reason to turn off the exclusive-write-
    access flag, as no one is writing into the database behind
    oc4j's back.
    Does anyone else see this behaviour (which looks like a major
    bug as the container
    must ensure that the instances of the same EB with same PK are
    in sync)?
    Thanks,
    - nik.

    yes, i have a similar problem with the 2.0.0 technology preview.
    i added some kind of 'code' which demonstrates my problem at the
    end of this message.
    Description: It seems that different instances are not
    synchronized correctly. I set a CMPfield and when I call getXY()
    on this CMPfield from within a different instance of this ejb
    (for example use a finder method to return a remote interface
    for the same pk), then this getter of the CMP field returns an
    old and wrong value.
    bad bug, i guess.
    suggestions?

  • How to create the instance of a class and to use this object remotely

    I have to change a standalone program to do it working on a local net.
    the program is prepared for this adjustment, because the only problem for this change came from the use of the database; and, in the application, all the accesses to the database come from only a class that supplies a connection to the database.
    In this way I think that I could have (in a local net) a "server application" that has the database embedded inside it.
    Furthermore, some client applications (running in different computers of the net) could get access to the database through the connection that comes from an instance of the class that, in the "server application", is made to provide the connection to the database.
    I think this could be a good idea...
    But I don't have practice with distributed applications and I would ask some suggestion about the way to realize my modification.
    (in particular how to get and use, in the "client applications", the instance of the class that give the connection to the database from the "server application").
    I would have some help..

    You can't pass a connection from a server to a client. Nothing will do that.
    As suggested you can create a simple RMI server/client set up. Or use a more feature rich (and much more complex) JEE container.
    RMI is simple enough for its own tutorial
    [http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/rmi/index.html]
    JEE (previously called J2EE) is much more complex and requires books. You can get a brief overlook from the following
