Driod Incredible.. offer only online? or at retailers

If I have to purchase online is the first monthly payment included?  Or pay on my usuall billing day.

I'm not sure I understand your question....do you already have an account?  "Usual billing day" implies you do.  If you order a new phone online, you will be billed the purchase price for the phone.  If your account qualifies, it can be billed to your account, or you will use a CC to pay for the phone online.
When it arrives, you will activate it.  Your "monthly payment" is your service for the phone line, which hasn't changed (unless you need to add the data plan).  The data plan will be added when the phone is activated.  Your monthly billing for your calling plan will continue.
If you are ADDING a line to take advantage of the BOGO, that line will be activated when the phone is activated; you will likely pay a partial month for the current month when the phone is added, and then your regular monthly billing  for a family plan with the added line.
If I haven't answered your quesiton, post back and clarify and I'll try again.

  • How to distribute on browser a PDF form but editing it only online?

    Hi,
    this is my issue:
I need to distribute a PDF form made with InDesing or Acrobat X Pro and collect data. But...I have  some other requirements/constraints.
    1)     The final user have to edit form only online
    2)     The final user have to edit the form in more work session (also day by day…the form is very long).
    3)     I have to collect data on a database for reporting
    Optionally…
    4)     The final user could not download the final pdf (I would have avoid that he/she print the pdf).
Could you propose a technical solution to implement all this?
    Thank in advance!

  • MBP Random Black out Screen [ONLY ONLINE]

    Hello everyone,
My Macbook Pro Early 2011 15 inch i7 with 8GB RAM at the moment is experiencing some trouble. When I'm watching videos online, the screen goes black after a few minutes. I know that the Early 2011 are famous because of faulty Logic Boards, but I don't know how to make the Hardware test without the disk.
And also, this problem started when I updated from Mountain Lion to Mavericks. When the blackscreen started, I rebooted the PRAM and SMC, but sometimes it didn't do the trick, and It stayed for hours to the system booted. After I Downgraded from Mavericks to Mountain Lion, this issue didn't happen for 3 or 4 complete days, and it happened again now in Mountain Lion. So, Hardware or Software issue?
    Well to summarize:
PROBLEM: Blackscreen only when watching videos or anything flash format on the internet.
    SYMPTOMS:
Blackscreen Only Online When Watching videos that are in flash format, or any page that has something inside of it that has flash format (Example: Simulators Online).
Not rebooting: Persistent Blue Screen or No Safe Mode booting or After PRAM or SMC Rebooting no booting.
QUESTION: Hardware (Logic Board) or Software Issue?

You have the problem as found in this -> https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4766577?tstart=0 - thread. Give it a glance and you'll see that many others are having the same problem with 2011 15" and 17" MacBook Pros. Basically, the solder on your GPU to logic board has cracked. In the end, you won't be able to boot at all (if you've not already reached that point).
Some people have been lucky enough to get a free logic board replacement. Unfortunately, many people have also gone through 3-4 logic boards and the problem is never solved. A replacement logic board is not a 'fix.' The only fix that seems to last any time is a BGA reball of your GPU. Lot of those repair shops around the world - make sure that you choose one who has at least a one year warranty. There is a list on Facebook of reballers across the globe -> http://on.fb.me/WaxddM.
    Good luck,

  • SCCM Client installation to only Online machines from All Systems Device collection through Client Push

    Hi,
How can we create a device collection based on only online machines , than use that collection to install the sccm client through client push method.
    Shailendra Dev

You can run a ping report and then create a collection from only the online machines:
Ping Report Script (Put the machine list in "pclist.txt" in the same folder):
    Const ForReading = 1
    Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
    Set objShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    If not objFSO.FileExists("Pclist.txt") THEN
    wscript.echo "File not found,"&_
vbcrlf&"with a hard return at the end of each line."
    wscript.quit
    end if
    tempobj="temp.txt"
    Set objTextFile = objFSO.OpenTextFile("Pclist.txt", ForReading)
    logfile="results.csv"
    Set ofile=objFSO.CreateTextFile(logfile,True)
    strText = objTextFile.ReadAll
    objTextFile.Close
    wscript.echo "Ping starting"
    ofile.WriteLine ","&"Ping Report -- Date: " & Now() & vbCrLf
    arrComputers = Split(strText, vbCrLF)
    for each item in arrcomputers
    objShell.Run "cmd /c ping -n 1 -w 1200 " & item & " >temp.txt", 0, True
    Set tempfile = objFSO.OpenTextFile(tempobj,ForReading)
    Do Until tempfile.AtEndOfStream

            If striploc=0 Then
                strip=""
            Else
                strip=Mid(temp,striploc,16)

Is there offline Mavericks help? There should be an option to get it installed. We need help more often than we are online. If there isn't, then idea of only online help is lazy and uncaring of the dealer to clients.

    I've done just that.
And another on the finder column bug in list mode.
And a few more in the pipeline if I find the motivation: I'm afraid my long relationship with Apple is flagging. They are excessively focussed on consumer goods and leaving their core business to wither away.
Maybe more serious users aren't profitable to them, and they are happy to let it wither.
So presumably they are happy if we wander off and start focussing on all the open source  unixes out there.
p.s. not happy with general Apple trends since about 10.6.8, can anyone tell ?

  • Why does LeanPrint offer only "Conventional Printing" in any internet browser?

I am using LeanPrint on a brand new and very well-endowed Windows 7, 64-bit PC with tons of RAM and other resources. I am wondering why LeanPrint offers only "Conventional Printing" in any browser that I try it in. I have tried it in: Firefox 24, Chrome 30, and Internet Explorer 10. The inefficiency of printing from these browsers has always discouraged me from doing so, and I was attracted to LeanPrint primarily because of this. Thanks for your attention to this question.

    Hello,
    Welcome to Adobe Forums.
It seems that the browser plugin for LeanPrint is currently disabled.  Please follow the below steps to enable the LeanPrint plugin as per the browser you are using:
In Internet Explorer, do the following:
    Select View > Toolbars.
If Adobe LeanPrint is not selected, click Adobe LeanPrint to select it.
Click Enable in the Enable Add-on dialog box. A new toolbar with the icon LeanPrint is displayed.
    In Firefox, do the following:
Select View > Toolbars > Customize.
Select the Adobe LeanPrint icon and then drag and drop it to your desired location on the Toolbar.
    In Chrome, do the following:
Select Wrench menu > Tools > Extensions.
Select the Adobe LeanPrint icon and click the check-box to Enable it.
    Reopen the browser.
I would also suggest you to install any available updates for Adobe LeanPrint by following the below steps:
Click Start > All Programs > Adobe LeanPrint > My Savings.
Now at the top right corner, click on the icon  and then click “Check for Updates” and install all available updates.
Please also check if Adobe LeanPrint is available in other applications like Microsoft Word/Excel etc. and if it allow you to print using LeanPrint.
Please try the above suggestions and let me know if they help in fixing the issue when trying to print from browser.
    Regards,

  • 84.99 online offer only

Received a flyer in the mail that offers your bundled package for TV, internet and phone for $84.99 plus tax and fees and stated that this was for a 2 year period. I come to your web site to check this out and it is advertised for only one year! Would like some clarification. Was it a typo on your flyer or is it really 2 years?

  • Can I still buy a Ipad2 in the apple store or only online

Within 3 weeks I'm leaving for a holiday to the USA and want to buy there a Ipad2.
Can I still buy one in the Apple Stores or do I need to order a Ipad2 online and then pick it up in the store near where I stay?
Because if You look online at the store they still selling/can order the Ipad2.

    Hi,
It sounds as if you'll be on a great trip! The west coast is beautiful!
First, to answer your important question, I called the Apple store in Seattle. The woman said, "Of course you can use a credit card from the Netherlands (and I'm pretty sure from any country) in any Apple store."
And you do not need a US address. That's only for buying and/or repairing via US mail. Because of each country's sanctions, Apple cannot ship internationally. That's why for on-line buys, you must use a US credit card and prove it's going to a US address.
Also, before traveling, you might look into your credit card company's policy on exchange rate. For example, if you buy an ipad on a given day at a given rate, your credit card might not charge you the rate at which you bought it. They might charge you the rate that it is on the day you are billed (billing date - that once a month date.) You might want to read up on it if you're not aware and get correct info directly from your card company. Or check out new ones, if necessary. I'm sure you know the euro to US dollar rate is in your favor. But be careful where you exchange money - no airports or hotels.
And it seems as if you've settled on an ipad 2 16 gb, your original plan. Great. When you said different sizes did you mean different space like 32 gb and 64 gb? If so, it's great that you'll have a choice.
The woman I spoke with said there was only one Apple store in Seattle and it is not in the center of the city (it's near the Univ. of Washington,)  but you'll have a car, though, so it shouldn't be a problem. She did suggest, though that you might want to wait until you get to Portland because the tax in Seattle WA is 9.5% but there is no sales tax in Portland OR. That means with tax, in Seattle you'll pay $436.91 but in Portland you'll pay only $399.00 and save $37.91. That might or might not matter to you.
This is a little off topic, but if you are into photography and are using a camera (actually also any smart phone though you'll never get the quality a point and shoot or a dslr will give you) then you might want to consider buying a camera connection kit at the Apple store for $29.00. Whatever you take pictures with you can then put on your ipad. You'll see them better and can email them home/facebook if you like. If you do that, please read up before you go on how the camera connection kit works, and how you have to name pictures to go onto the ipad camera roll, etc. As a matter of fact, if you're near an Apple store at home, you might want to go in and ask for help. Of course, in Seattle, they can help you set up your ipad and explain anything you need to know.
Great that you have your Apple ID. You'll also need your password...
Have a wonderful trip! The scenery is beautiful and you're traveling to some beautiful and fun places. It sounds as if you are well traveled internationally and know much of the info I added, but just in case...
If you have any questions about Apple in the US, you can let me know and I'll be happy to speak directly with an Apple store rep in Seattle and then get back to you.
    Hope this helps.

  • Photoshop cs6-Only online help?

Is the online help the only way to see the help files?
No help application as in photoshop cs5?
Will there be a pdf for viewing when no internet connection is available?
Added: Also there does not appear to be a list of keyboard shortcuts in the photoshop cs6 online help.
    Message was edited by: R_Kelly

    I took a look.
Here is what I did I use the above link Photoshop CS6 Quick Reference Guide. checked Keyboard shortcuts and click the Update button.
After a short while the columns were updated.
I opened updated PC Photoshop CS6 use Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and use the set pull-down menu and chose Photoshop Defaults to make sure Adobe default were set.
I the started to compare the shortcut listed in the Edit keyboard dialog to the ones listed in the quick guide.  When I reach row 3 Actual Pixels the Edit Keyboard dialog surprised me for it listed two shortcuts  "Ctrl+1" and "Alt+Ctrl+0".
So I closed the dialog to try them.
First I use Ctrl+0 fit image on screen to enlarge as small image on screen in a floating window. It worked differently then in previous version of Photoshop. The image area was one pixel narrower and one pixel shorter the previous releases so the scroll bars were active where previous release they were inactive. So I dragged out the window to deactivate the scroll bars.
Then I tried Ctrl+1 it did zoom to 100% but it to made the image area one pixel narrower then it should be and one pixel shorter then the image area should be so the scroll bars were active till I dragged out the floating window to inactivate the scroll bars and show  the whole image.
I then tried ALT+Ctrl+0 the image was at 100% and remained 100% it resize the image are 1 pixel shorter then it should and one pixel narrower the it should be and the scroll bars were once again active. Previous versions of Photoshop resized floating windows correctly.
However both shortcuts listed in the Edit Keyboard Dialog did zoom to 100%.  The Quick Reference Guide listed No PC shortcuts for View Actual Pixels it only listed cmd+1 for the Mac so first two row look good  third row not good.
Actual Pixels  Display the image at 100% View Menu view > actual pixels  More Help Cmd + 1

Maybe making the message store read only ?

then add the data to an existing mailbox, in a specific folder and restrict the access/visibility to that folder only.

  • Can I buy an unlocked iPhone 4S at retail stores in the US (Florida) or only online?

Hi, I will be travellin to the US (Florida) in late January, and would like to know if I can buy an unlocked iPhone 4S at a retail store. I've tried buying it online, but it will only accept US credit cards.
Thanks in advance! Alejo (from Argentina)

It was my understanding that you could get an unlocked iPhone 4s in the US only through the online store.  I have since run across internet articles and forum posts that said some local Apples stores in the US can now sell you an unlocked iPhone 4s.  I would suggest that either you or a friend call the Apple store you plan on visiting to see if they will sell you an unlocked 4s.

  • Battery offers only about 40 minutes!!

Hi all. My MBP (original) only offers about 40 minutes of battery time. This has been true ever since purchase. Once disconnected from power source, it says 1-1/2 hours for about a second before jumping down to 60 minutes and a second of two later, once you actually try to do something, down to 40 minutes. Are all MBP batteries so short lived? It's hardly possible to leave an electrical outlet. Not much of a LAPTOP....Isn't the point of a laptop to be able to leave your desk? Please advise. Are there replacement batteries out there that offer longer life? Thanks.

You could try resetting the SMC and calibrating the battery and see if this helps:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1411?viewlocale=en_US
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1490
However, I don't think that this will help, as I concur with the idea that you may have a faulty battery. I notice that your full charge capacity is 2697 mAh and the remaining capacity is only 976 at only 139 cycles. By contrast, my 16 month old battery has a full charge capacity of 6568 mAh, and a charge remaining of 6537 mAh. I don't see your battery's health listed.
Is this a new battery or an original battery? If it is more than two years old, it could just be approaching the end of its life, even though the cycle count is low. Batteries do have a finite shelf life, although that can vary greatly from battery to battery.
If your battery is under two years old, here is an article which may be of relevance:
    http://www.apple.com/support/macbook_macbookpro/batteryupdate/
This article will describe some characteristics of defective batteries.
To check on CPU usage, open Activity Monitor, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. Select "All Processes" at the top and "CPU" at the bottom. Then look at the CPU column and see if anything seems to be hogging the CPU. For example, printer processes are one of the culprits that can do this. If you have something hogging the CPU, you may also have heat and the fans may be spinning all out.
    Good luck!

  • New Mac Pros offer only ATI graphics cards

    http://www.fudzilla.com/graphics/graphics/ati-also-wins-macpro-deal
This might be a concern for CS5 users, if the hardware MPE continues to be nVidia only.
I also noticed that the Fermi line of Quadro cards have been announced.

I'm not sure that this means you can't buy an NVIDIA card...just that Apple isn't going to offer one in a stock model.
As far as Fermi is concerned...Adobe has said it will update the list of eligible cards as new models arrive and are tested.
