Driver data location

I want an example for driver data location and particularly the difference between 'Destnation' and 'Assignment'

The difference is as you indicate the location of the driver data.
For the 'destination' driver type the data is stored at 'no member' for all stage dimensions except for the destination stage.
For the 'assignment' driver type the data is stored against members for both the source and destination stages.
For Example
consider a model with only 2 stages, each stage has 1 dimension.
stage 1 : dimension = dim A, member = A100
stage 2 : dimension = dim B, member = B100
for a rule against stage 1, dimension A, member A100 with a target in stage 2, dimension B, member B100
'destination driver data' - The driver data needs to be stored in [stage 1]@[nomember], [stage 2]@[B100]
'assignment driver data' - The driver data needs to be stored in [stage 1]@[A100], [stage 2]@[B100]
The difference is that for a destination driver the same value is used regardless of the source, so the different member in the source dimension can use the same driver value based on the same destination.
With the assignment driver every combination must be covered, but you can have different driver values for each on combination of source and destination.
