Driver for Card reader Omnikey 3021

Can somebody tell me where to find a driver for my card reader Omnikey 3021.
The drivers from HID doesn't seem to work.
I have an iMac OSX 10,9 with a 2,9GHz Intel Core i5.

Since there are no Product Specifications for the computer, I don't know the brand of the card reader. Here is a driver for the Realtek card reader. If it doesn't work, let me know the brand of it.

Win7 Pro is now installed on my nc6320 but the Fingerprinter reader software does not work. I have seen similar requests but they do not work for the nc6320. Thanks.

If you are missing any other drivers, just use the Vista drivers.
You card reader won't work unless you install this driver which is not listed on your notebooks support and driver page.

Best External Hard Drive and Card Reader?

Hi, guys and girls:
I am going to work as a data manager on a TV series. I guess data manager is the name, or loader, they shooting everything on the 5D or 7D, there not sure yet and I have to download all the data of the camera and save it on a hard disk, make backups and all that.
They ask me for the best hard disk, and I probably would choose a Lacie, but I have heard bad things about them so I want to make an informed desition.
Wich are the best disks or the most reliables for what I am going to do?
I also need a good card reader, one that uses firewire 800 to make things as fast and reliable as possible.
So what card reader would you recomend?

Ok, to nail it down a little bit.
I have read that there´s a problem with pins in the scandisk card readers so maybe the best option is the Lexar one but some others say that the lexar is worst.
So confusing
What do you think?

I've been researching for hours and have several questions, but the one I want to know about the most is: *what exactly does a card reader do?* I ask because I always thought that a card reader was meant to help transfer the raw files from the camcorder to inside the computer.
That's why I am confused by what this person wrote in a Review at Amazon of a product he bought:

AppleMan, actually I know what a memory stick is, although I did not know the depth to which you explained it (about the magnetic platters and sensors). I know that a memory card/stick is removable memory and that a card reader is something into which you stick the Sony memory card.
When I spoke of the upload being faster on a card reader, I meant/thought *that simply by virtue of going through a card reader, the upload would be faster* — faster than merely plugging a USB cable between the camcorder and the computer. In my mind. I was not assuming that there are different grades/speeds of card readers. I noticed that they are all fairly inexpensive, which means, no classifications of speed.
What I was and am concerned about is the actual Sony memory card/stick that can carry 4, 6, 8, 16, 32, gigabytes of memory. From what I read last night at some sites (and posted here) was that Sony has a bunch of crazy making names to confuse the buyer. +Memory stick, Memory stick duo, Memory Stick Duo Pro, Memory Stick Duo Pro HG, Memory Stick HS Duo Pro HG etc.+
I was early on confused with this array of choices, but I later realized last night that each little acronym signifies an extra capability.
I will look for a card reader and am going to assume that all card readers are universal for all card sizes and camcorders. Am I right or wrong in that?

Install mSATA drive in card reader slot of M92P small form factor

I thought it would be a wonderful idea to install a SSD in my M92P SFF. Seems I can't do that unless I ditch my installed hard drive as there is no second drive slot. So now I'm left with the option of installing an mSATA drive. The manual says I need a "storage converter" with a mini PCI Express slot.. Where, oh where, do I get one of these 'cause it certainly did not come installed on my machine? Anybody have experience installing one of these puppies? Thanks in advance.

After doing some research on the message, I came across this post.
Apparently, your PC has a smart card optional system (maybe it was government surplus).

Now, if you can get into the BIOS menus, if you look at the top of page 8, you will see what you need to do in order to enable/disable the smart card reader message.

Whatever the problem is, it is a security setting issue, and clearing the CMOS or updating the BIOS will not have any effect on that setting.
Unfortunately, I have no experience with the security settings or protect tools software on HP business PC's.
I have a dc7800 (and only use HP business desktops and notebooks), so I am very familiar with all the other aspects of the PC, but that one.
You may want to post your issue on the HP business support forum, business PC section. Hopefully someone there has experience with turning this feature on or off.

Lightroom 1.3 Import not automatic for card reader

Lightroom no longer opens Import window when card is connected, as it did with ver 1.2.
Preferences are set to "show import dialogue when card is detected".
When card is inserted in reader, Lightroom starts, but Import dialogue box does not appear.
I can manually open Import from Lightroom and import images.
When I click on "Adobe Photo Downloader" icon in Tray and select "Launch" it will start Lightroom but not Importer and says "no photos were found to import".

I'm seeing the same thing. I actually now have to open my card reader under "Import Photos from Disk" instead of "Import Photos from Device".

Cannot use the card reader on my Equium A100

I've put my SD HC card into the reader, and ensured it's clicked in properly.
But nothing is happening. I recently reformatted my hard drive.
Can you please tell me which driver I need?
I've seen these on the toshiba downloads page and think they might be of help?
SD memory format, SD secure module, and also SD utilities.
I hope someone can help me, as I really need to get the info of this card!

I assume you use Win XP.
The Flash Media Driver from Texas Instruments is the driver for card reader controller.
Download it and install it!
PS: not all cards are supported and compatible so if an card will not work in the card reader then sometimes this doesnt mean that an card reader driver has not been installed
Anyway, in device manager the card reader should be recognized properly!

Satellite A300 - dvd, usb and card reader will not work

Help required please.
Have a A300 Satellite laptop, running vista.
Until a couple of weeks ago all good, then noticed the dvd/cd did not recognized and disc in it. The card reader cannot find anything on the card (and yes the card was full).
The usb scanner is recognized as a external memory card and the other usb port does not fuction.
I have not installed or cannot remember changing settings or doing anything out of the usually.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Your posting is very confusing.

Well, there are many reasons for that; it could be possible that inserted disk is not fully compatible. Try different disks from different manufacturers.
It could be also possible that laser lens of the ODD is dirty. In such case you could clean it using a cotton-wool tip and alcohol. In my case this helped.

Did you use a compatible card? The notebook handles these cards:
SD Card 8MB - 2GB
SDHC Card - 4GB
xD picture card - 16MB-2GB
Memory Stick - 8MB-256MB
Memory Stick Pro - 256MB-2GB
MultiMediaCard - 8MB-1GB
miniSD (with SD adapter) - 32MB-2GB
I would also recommend to format the card and to copy some files from computer and then to test this.
You could also reinstall and update the driver for card reader controller...

Cannot believe that You should use a scanner software (should be provided with the scanner) and should test this device. By the way; mostly a scanner driver needs to be installed in order to use this

Searching for SD-Card-Reader of M30x for Linux (Debian)

googeling I didn't find a way to get my sd-card working under linux. As far as I understood there are no drivers.
Well, Microsoft not being an alternative in my case I really need a work around short of switching notebooks and external card readers.
Can anybody piont me in the right direction.

I dont know which Satellite notebook model you have but, as far as I know, mostly units have driver for multicard reader. Unfortunately Linux is by Toshiba not supported and because of that it will be very difficult to find something there.
Check please Linux section on this forum and you will find some interesting Linux links. Maybe you will find something interesting there.

Card reader/thumb drive support

I am new to mac world. I am using 10.4.11 in a pm mdd. When I install a thumb drive or card reader the item is identified for a moment and an error message says the drive has been removed. I can see the files for a few moments then the drive disappears from the desk top and I am unable to view it again. Any thoughts? Should 10.4.11 be able to read sd card readers? thx.

I assume you have a USB connected card reader & the SD card is inserted into the card reader. Correct? Where is the USB connector that you are connected to - On your keyboard, on the back of your Mac, on your monitor, USB hub, or other?
I'm guessing that the USB port on you Mac is being overloaded (exceeds power limits), although usually you would get a error message on the screen stating this. If it's an overload problem, getting a powered USB hub will solve the problem.

How do I get the SD Card Reader to work?

I have a HP HDX16 -1040US Notebook that has worked perfectly except for my SD Card Reader has stopped working and is no longer being recognized by my computer, is there anything I can do to get this working again?

Worth trying to remove driver first (note version number before removing) for card reader from device manager options then reboot & check in device manager & you should have an unkown device which will be the card reader.
Then download driver ( try the 2 that not same as already had)
Hopefully it will install.
If not you need to review what maybe conflicting, simple things like security software (Norton being a top offender for problems) are worth turning off to test ...

Can't eject card reader!

I have a compact flash card reader (USB 2) that i plugged into the USB slot on the front of my MacPro. I copied the wanted photos over to my hard drive, used the "eject" button from the Finder window to eject the card reader.... and it disappeared for a split-second only!
Then it reappeared and launched iPhoto to get me to drag the photos over again. So again i ejected the card reader (after closing iphoto) and almost instantly it reappears.... the never-ending cycle.
If i try to hurry up and remove the card reader after ejecting, i get an error message saying it must be ejected properly and i've probably damaged some files...
What am I doing wrong in this process?

Replace your card reader. My Belkin multi-card reader seems to work best with both PCs and Macs. If the reader does not adhere to the standards set for them, there usually are driver and card reader issues.
My card reader was all of 20 -40 dollars, don't remember. I have several others, firewire, USB..... that have caused problems on various systems. They sit on a shelf collecting dust. They are all name-brand readers, but that doesn't seem to matter, as far as how well they work with my systems. My brothers card reader kept us from adding a WD My Book 500 HD to his PC laptop because the driver for the reader wouldn't release the drive letters etc. ( lame explanation I know ), in order for the WD drivers to be installed correctly. Borrow one from a friend if you can and see if theirs works on your system. If I remember correctly, they sell Belkins at the Apple store.

Eclipse terminates by starting the card reader

Hello,
it�s me again. I have a problem with the card reader (Omnikey CardMan 3121 USB) everytime I will start the reader via the symbol I get the termination message and eclipse terminates.
Perhaps I do the wrong things but I don�t know another way.
1. Write the code
2. push the Run-button (and it loads)
3. I try to connect the card reader with the symbol above the traces to go the same way with the real card reader
termination
In the moment I can test the code with the simulation tool but I wants to load the applet to a real card.
what do I wrong ?

I think this might very well be a problem with the Omnikey readers. I use a Omnikey myself and the exact same thing happens. What I do to fix it is simply to type "/term" in the JCOP shell terminal window. Note that if you already have an open session with another reather (i.e. the simulator) you will have to close it using "/close" first.
After you've selected the terminal (card reader), use /card (or even /card -a a000000003000000 -c com.ibm.jc.CardManager, but I find it's sufficient to type /card).
As I'm in a good mood and it's almost weekend, I'll throw in an APDU trace for good measure:
