Driver for hp color laserjet cp2025 windows 7 32 bit

I just bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex 755 32 bit with Windows 7. I have a hp color laserjet CP2025. The icon appears in devices & printers window as unspecified, category unknown yet the model no. appears correctly as CP2025. It has a USB connection that loads a driver automatically. I can't print a test page etc. After I powered the system up initally I was able to print a test page but after 200 or so updates I can't do anything with the printer.

The driver disk does not include that OS and the Driver Support page does not specify which driver to use in order to take full advantage of the automatic two sided color printing capability. I have answered my own question or found a temporary fix until an official driver is released. After a few hits and misses with different HP Color Laserjet Drivers, I downloaded the HP LaserJet USB (DOT4) communication driver for Windows 8 and Higher (64-bit) located at the below link. It is listed for the HP Color LaserJet 3700 Printer but it worked for the HP Color Laserjet 1600 as well. Can't install driver for HP P1006 LaserJet under Windows 8.1 64 bit

Hi,
I can not install the driver for HP P1006 LaserJet under Windows 8.1 64 bit.
I download the driver installation program from the HP website. When I run it, it says reinstalling the driver files, then copying files to the hard drive and then it crashes. I also tried using the driver CD that came with the printer to no avail.
The printer works fine on my other laptop with Vista on it. Help!

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are trying to install your HP Laserjet P1006 to your computer running Windows 8.1, but everytime you attempt to extract the files it crashes. After some research I see there were no updated drivers made available for the Windows 8.1 OS, you must install the Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver, to get the basic printing functions. Please click on the link below to download and install:
HP LaserJet P1000-P1500 Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver
Once downloaded, please follow the on screen instructions. I hope this helps!

Could be a lot of reasons. First try to print a supplies status page- If that prints with color on it, you have a driver problem.

However, in System Preferences I can’t “add” the printer to the print queue because I don’t have a driver and you have to select a driver before the add button becomes active. Therefore, the Mountain Lion software update doesn’t add driver software for the CP 1215 driver because I was unable to add the printer to the print queue.

You could try the 1515 driver or use the Generic PostScript Printer PPD when adding the printer.

Is there a univeral printer driver for HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP on Windows 7 64 bit?

I had bought a HP Color LaserJet CM1312 Multifunction Printer last year - up to now I could print out via the computer of my doughter (Windows XP), but now this computer is bugged and I would like to be able to use also my own Windows 7 64 bit Computer. Unfortunately the "Full solution" does not work at all, while there also appears to be no Universal Printer Driver for my special printer. In other words: I can´t use the printer and I am upset (HP at its best?).
Is there any way to get a printer driver that does what it is supposed to do?

Win 7 (64 bit) Driver for my Color LaserJet 2550n Printer

A specific driver for my HP Color LaserJet 2550n is not listed in the Win 7 driver list. I see drivers for 2500 PCL 5, 2500 PS, 2550 PS, and 2600n. ( just updated the Windows driver list.) I've been using the HP Color LaserJet 2550 PS driver, but have problems printing that I never had with Win XP. Which ddriver is the correct one for my 2550n printer?. Thanks.

According to Apple Support's list of supported printers, yours is supported in Mountain Lion.
How is it connected to your Mac, Lena? If it's connected via USB (and I know nothing about this printer) you should be able to go to System Preferences --> Printers and Fax and click on the "+" button. It should pop up in the left hand pane, where all you'd then have to do is select it and add it. It would then load the appropriate drivers.
Some people have reported they have to reboot their Mac in order to get their printer to show up in the list.

HP color laserjet CP2025 will not print. Help.

I have a HP color laserjet CP2025, but it will not print. I installed the driver HP Color LaserJet CP2020 Series PCL 6. I have a Windows Vista Home Premium. There is a message to replace the cyan cartridge, but I assume if the printer has black ink, then it'll print in black and white. Do I need to replace the cyan cartiridge for it to print? What other options can I try to troubleshoot?

HP Color LaserJet CP2025 is listed as Offline

Our HP Color LaserJet CP2025 was bought in the middle of November, 2011 and has been working fine since then. I set it up with a static IP address and no one has had troubles connecting or printing until yesterday. All of a sudden the printer is listed as offline for everyone. A reboot of the printer will sometimes allow it to print one job and then go back to offline. Any time it is attached via USB, it works like a charm. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver/printer, I've updated the firmware, I've ran the HP Print Diagnostic Utility and it says that everything is fine, I've plugged it into different switches and none of them work. I'm lost and out of ideas. Any help?
I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 64bit but it has shown up as offline on all the XP and 7 computers as well.

I figured it out. I set a static IP on the printer but didn't reserve the IP for it on my DHCP server so someone else had take the address. As soon as I changed the IP it worked great.
