Does Apple plan to create a patch for the HP Photosmart 7350 so it will run on OS 10.5.5?

It's up to HP to supply drivers for its printers. Apple just includes them with OS X. In the case of your printer the drivers are provided by Gutenprint. There's a Gutenprint update you can install to see if the new drivers have changed for your printer. Download it here. Otherwise, you will need to check HP's website for an update driver for your printer. A check of their website does not show any new driver for use with Leopard.
If you're willing to spend the money there is a product called PrintFab which supports your printer. Their drivers are likely to be superior to the one provided by Gutenprint.

Hi, I hope someone can help.
I've been scouring the HP support site trying to find a download of the BASIC driver for HP Photosmart 3310 for 32-bit Windows 8.1. I don't want the full istall package, just the printer driver. I found a 64-bit version, which doesn't work on my system.
I downloaded and tried the printer install wizard, which only lets you download the full 434MB software package, which I don't want.

There is a 32 bit WIndows 8.1 drivers available for download, however it is a full feature software and not the basic drivers. You can try to install it and see if it helps you.

Printer Driver for HP Photosmart 7520 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and 10.3 and 10.5

I just purchased a new HP Photosmart 7520 printer. One of my Macs at home is an iMac G5 that is running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. It connects to the HP printer via Wi-Fi. HP does not provide drivers for Mac OS 10.4 for the Photosmart 7520 printer. I tried all sorts of old HP drivers and finally found one that worked, so I figured I would post here to help out anyone else who is trying to solve the same problem. The driver download you need is the OS 10.4 driver for the Photosmart C7250 All-In-One printer. Here is the link to the download page:

After downloading and installing the drivers, I ran the HP Printer Setup Utility. It was not able to detect my printer. I had to go to System Preferences on my Mac and add the printer manually in the Print & Fax control panel. The Print & Fax control panel was not able to auto-select the correct driver to use, so I selected "HP" from the "Print Using" drop-down list, and then selected "HP Photosmart D7400 Series" from the "Model" list. That worked for me. Good luck!

Windows 7 driver for HP Photosmart 7850... HELP!

Bought a new Toshiba laptop with Windeows 7, 64 bit operating system. Cannot get PC to recognize/connect with my HP printer model Photosmart 7850. Went to HP website to install driver and I am not successful I'm told by one person the driver for these two devices is not available or does not exist. Does this mean that I discard a 4 year old HP printer that is in excellent working order and buy new? Tell me it's not true. I followed the directions on the HP website as directed by The Geek Squad, but without success. My pc skills are pretty limited. I need help! Somebody please!

Check this link regarding the full feature driver of your printer that will work with your Windows 7 computer, click here.
Nevertheless, this is a workaround to use the full feature software driver by using the software driver used for vista, by running compatibility. Click here to download and save the full feature driver for vista on your desktop
>rightclick the filename of the full feature that you downloaded and saved on your desktop
>select properties
>click on the compatibility tab under the properties window
>select windows vista service pack 2 under the RUN THIS PROGRAM UNDER COMPATIBILITY mode
>provide a checkmark for the option saying RUN PROGRAM as an administator under PRIVELEGE LEVEL
>hit apply then press ok!
*double leftclick the filename of the dwnloaded driver to begin installation

How to install driver for HP photosmart 7520 on MacOSX 10.5.8???

My husband does basic printing of documents. His computer is a MAC OSX 10.5.8. We have a new HP Photosmart 7520 printer which requires 10.6 minimum.
Is it possible to get a driver for this printer for him, that will allow him to access the printer, without getting a new computer!! ?? To simply be able to print and fax and scan.. he rarely does photos.
Please Help, as of course, he is quite frustrated, and as a result, so am I!!

Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that you having trouble installing drivers with your printer. It is true that this printer only supports Mac OS X 10.6 as the minimum requirement for the HP Photosmart 7520.
As the Operating System is older than when the printer came out, there currently isn't a driver available. However, here is a list of printers that can be used with Mac OS X 10.5.8. Archived - Mac OS X 10.5.3: Printer drivers included in the HP Printer Driver Update v1.1.1. Or you can try upgrading the Operating System to Mac OS X 10.6.

If you have Windows 8 installed on your computer, try running Windows Update from the Control Panel. I couldn't locate a driver for the printer anywhere.

Windows 8.1 driver for HP Photosmart C6180 All-in-One

I am trying to install the printer driver for Windows 8.1. The printer is a HP Photosmart C6180 All-in-One. However, when it gets to installing the software it errors out. So I tried just downloading the driver without all the bells and whisles and it comes back telling me it cannot find "mp-110021-2/AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4.exe" bur with the URl in front of it. I have done a search and have check the ftp site given in this forum and nothing has proven to be available any longer. Does anyone know where I can get this driver from? Thanks

Need driver for HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One priner

I was given a HP Photosmart C6280 printer but the person did not have the disc that came with it to install the driver. I am technologically disinclined and have no clue what to do. Can someone please tell me where to find a driver for this printer and how to install it? I have tried to use a driver on some other websites, but they want a credit card and quite frankly, I don't trust them.

Had the same problem, got it working by using Photosmart 8200 driver. You have to go to add a printer, select Dot4 USB for the port, and then pick the 8200 driver from the list that Windows 7 ships with. Once you do, it just works. My test page printed on the first try. HP could make this a *lot* easier for everyone, but I guess they are in the business of selling more printers.

OS 10.2.8: Is there a Driver for HP Photosmart 5180

I friend is asking for some advice. She just bought a HP Photosmart 5180 Printer for her G3 iBook running 10.2.8.
Unfortunately there are only drivers provided for 10.3 and 10.4, and the HP support website only has the same ones available.
Is there a generic driver she could download to get her printer working, or is the only option to upgrade?

I think from Panther on, Gimp print drivers are included in the OS, but for Jaguar one needed to download and install them, which you can do here at Gimp Print which includes the driver Greg Sahli suggested for you.

HT3500 I have mosx Lion have no driver for my photosmart c4580 printer and the printer test page gives no ip address. How do I get my printer to work?

We bought a new Mac bookpro using the latest version of lion 10.8. We also have a c4580 photosmart printer and have bee unable to find a driver down load for this printer and our Macbook. We have tried to use u tube and other sites including Apple support to try to connect to our printer. We run a printer test page and the ip address comes up "not applicable". Do we need to connect the macbook to the router? What are we doing wrong? HP site will not give us a driver download. I have to buy it. Seems simplar to goand buy a new printer but this one is still good. Can anyone help? We are not as software savy as alot of you out there. Thanks.

There is no Windows 10 driver yet for the "HP Photosmart Premium C309g". When will it come out? Can I use drivers that were made for windows 7? Is there a way to work around this?

Use the Deskjet 970 or 990 driver as described above and enable the duplexer as described in my previous post.
