Driver for my windows 7 64bit 2000 notebook pc 2000-2d02TU

driver for my windows 7 64bit 2000 notebook pc 2000-2d02TU
i need my drivers as i didnt get the driver cd with notebook and for some problem i reinstalled my os windows 7 ultimate ,and when i am searching in your website i am just geting windows 8 not windows 7 .

Hi:
Your notebook came with FreeDos, and HP only supports their consumer PC's with drivers for the current Windows operating system in effect at the time of the notebook's production, which currently is Windows 8.
I cross-referenced the hardware in your model with the hardware in slightly older HP 2000's, and all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from this model should also work on yours.

That doesn't sound good. It sounds like the power outage might have corrupted the partition for OS X. I would suggest booting from the Install DVD that came with your Mac while holding down the C key. Once you have selected the language start up Disk Utility from the pull down menu and repair the disk. Once you have done that then repair permissions also.

  • Could not download this driver: IDT High-Definition Audio CODEC Driver for Microsoft Windows 7.

Tried to download this driver:  IDT High-Definition Audio CODEC Driver for Microsoft Windows 7.
It would not download - said it was not compatble with my operating system.
    I run Windows 7,   64 bit.
I'm trying to increse the sound volume from the monitor.
I have increased the sound to 100 from the monitor and in Windows .  It is still barely audible. . .

    Hello again valens-mom,
Thank you for responding to my post requesting additional information. I can tell you that according to Product Specifications page for your HP Pavilion w2338h is a 23-inch wide-screen HDMI monitor, your monitor has 2 watts oer speaker integrated speakers. A pair of reasonably sensitive speakers deliver the following decibel levels at a distance of about one meter.
    Power/ Decibels
    2 Watts = 93 decibels
    4 Watts = 96 decibels
    8 Watts = 99 decibels
    16 Watts = 102 decibels
    32 Watts = 105 decibels
    64 Watts = 108 decibels
    128 Watts = 111 decibels
    256 Watts = 114 decibels
    512 Watts= 117 decibels
    1024 Watts = 120 decibels
    For Comparison
    10db = normal human breathing
    60db = normal human conversation
110db = power saw, car horn, shouting in ear,
120db = jet aircraft close by, emergency vehicle siren, rock concert
Now as to whether installing the IDT High-Definition Audio CODEC Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 will give you the audio level you are seeking will depend on what computer you have and what audio drivers are installed. To provide you with more accurate information I would need to know additional information concerning your computer. Is this an HP computer? If it is not the driver question would be better answered by the computer manufacturer. If this is an HP computer could you please provide the product number for it so I can take a look into what drivers work on that computer?
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Please if you require additional help in this re-post with the requested information and I would be happy to provide you with further assistance. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • 2nd hard drive for HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Notebook - What do I need?

Hi, I have the HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Select Edition Entertainment Notebook (Product # WV703AV). It has room for two harddrives but only came with one. What would I need in order to install the second hard drive? Would I need just a connecting cable or do I also need caddy or kit?
Also, could I get a solid state? Would my notebook support that or does it only use regular ones?
    Currently, I'm running Windows 7 64bit. I've got a 500GB hd (which came partitioned with hp tools/recovery).
Any help with what I would need for a traditional hdd or ssd would be greatly appreciated. I tried to look through other people's posts first,  but couldn't find anything specific to my model. Thanks for your time!

    Hi:
The only place I know of where you can get a 2nd hard drive kit is from this vendor.
    http://www.newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=345
Your notebook should be able to work with a SSD but I cannot guarantee it.
I really don't see any point in adding a SSD unless you make it the primary hard drive, and in order to do that, you would need to get a SSD the same size as the original 500 GB hard drive to use the recovery disks to reinstall the operating system.
Most folks get smaller SSD's and they use the W7 product key to activate a plain installation of W7.
If you can read all 25 characters of your windows 7 product key you can make your own installation media and use that to install Windows on a smaller than 500 GB SSD.
If you can read the 25 character Microsoft windows 7 product key, you can download plain Windows 7 ISO files to burn to a DVD for the version of windows that came installed on your PC, and that is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC's case.
Burn the ISO using the Burn ISO option on your DVD burning program and burn at the slowest possible speed your program will allow. This will create a bootable DVD.
Or use the Windows 7 USB/DVD installation tool to compile the ISO file you download from Digital River. Link  below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB method of compilation.
    http://download.cnet.com/Windows-7-USB-DVD-Download-Tool/3000-18513_4-10972600.html
Use the 25 character product key on the PC to activate the installation.
The key will activate either a 32 or 64 bit installation.
Then go to the PC's support and driver page to install the drivers you need.
Link to the W7 ISO file downloads is below.

  • HP DeskJet 2510 Printer Driver conflict in Windows 7 64bit

I have just changed my PC from Windows XP Home to a new machine running Windows 7 64bit. I installed the DeskJet 2510 printer from the CD/online and it was fine apart from a lot of errors in the Event Viewer:-
"The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\UNIDRVUI.DLL, error code 0xc1. See the event user data for context information."
From looking on the web it appeared that the solution may be to reinstall the driver which I did, by uninstalling then completely reinstalling the Basic Device Software. Since reinstalling (several times now!) the HP Print & Scan Doctor is reporting a Printer Driver conflict and suggesting that uninstalling and reinstalling is necessary! As I havealready gone through this loop several times I am wondering if there is a bug somewhere.
The Test Print page is fine and everything appears to work correctly apart from continuing error messages as above, up to 4 at a time, mainly when printing envelopes from MS Word.
    This question was solved.

    hhhuummmm....
Maybe I have missed a step. Let's try opening the Device and printers, clicking on the printer so the Printer server Properties option appears, click server Printer server Properties, but then click back on the Device and Printers window. Delete the printer icon from here, then return to the Printer server Properties window and delete the driver.
If this works I am sorry I didn't think of it sooner

  • N-trig driver for TX2 windows 7 32 bit

    Hi all
Is there any plan at all from either HP or N-trig to release a n-trig driver for windows 7 32 bit?
I know there is a beta driver, but it does not support "automode" + some ghost clicks
Windows 7 was out ages ago, and how come there's no sign of new driver?
Only 64 bit has official driver which even don't support 4 inputs, and what about 32 bit users?

  • New Hard Drive for storage - Windows wants to install on it

This has been an ongoing problem of mine and I finally received a useful error to be able to figure out what is going on. I have already checked MSI's forums and Microsoft's website with no avail.
    Problem:
I just put in a new hard drive (200GB seagate) and windows won't boot. I'm not surprised. Whenever I tinker with my hard drives, windows refuses to boot and I end up reinstalling XP. My interesting error occurs when I go to select an installation partition. Upon selecting my WD Raptor, Windows replies:
To install Windows XP on the partition you selected,
Setup must write some startup files to the following disk:
190780 MB Disk 0 at id 0 on bus 0 on atapi [MBR]
However, this disk does not contain a Windows XP-compatible
    partion.
What normally happens when I install windows on my sata drive is that windows also writes files to another drive which it needs in order to boot. Move the disks around and windows won't boot. In this case, the hard drive I added new is not yet formatted or even partitioned. I noticed that it was the first drive on the partion selection screen which makes me think that windows wants to use the first disk on that list as the disk to put files onto (otherwise known as C:). HOW OH HOW do I install windows without  windows putting files on multiple drives?
    -Bob

    Great news!
I installed Partition Magic (which I already own), and noticed two things.
    1. My Seagate 200GB is set as Active and
    2. My WD Raptor is not set as Active
Sounds easy, so let's set my Raptor as active and my Seagate as not active. But hold on, let's do one at a time and since I want to make my Raptor work, let's turn that on first. So I made my Raptor Active and rebooted (btw, I didn't change anything in bios). Upon reboot into XP partion magic popped up and did some DOS stuff and rebooted me. This time when I rebooted I jumped into bios and changed 2nd boot device to SCSI instead of HDD-0 (1st boot is cd-rom) and rebooted. Now I get this message:
    NTLDR is missing
What a kick in the sack! Previously, before I made the partition magic changes, booting from SCSI would give the error:
    INVALID SYSTEM DISK
INSERT VALID SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
or something like that. This drives me to the conclusion that you guys are on a role. Indeed setting my Raptor to Active was probably all it needed in the first place. Thank you very much already for that little piece of information.
So now the new question becomes, can I copy NTLDR from my xp cd into my WINDOWS directory and assume it will boot on SCSI? (or perhaps if I would remove my Seagate). I've tried to re-copy an NTLDR file for someone a year ago but there were many different versions of the file. I can still boot to XP if I set boot device to HDD-0, don't forget. And I did a windows search for NTLDR and it doesn't come up anywhere. Now what?

  • Can I use TC as a backup drive for a Windows PC

I bought a TC. We still have one desktop PC. I am hoping to use TC as a backup drive for that PC in addition to its wireless capabilities. Can I do that? Or, do I have to have an external hard drive hooked up to TC that is used to backup the PC?
    Thanks!

Does TC have to be formatted in some special way in order to have the PC write to the drive?
No, the TC is a network drive.. its internal format happens to be HFS+ and cannot be changed, but it would not matter if it was formatted to some strange standard you never heard of. It presents to the network as an SMB files store.. that just means it is like a shared drive on another computer.
I prefer to simply reinstall the operating system & have the data files to restore in case something happens. At least, in my limited experience and others' stories, that seems to be a simpler route.
I disagree here. A full backup of terrible mess sure, that is worse than a bad fresh install. But a clone of the PC on the day of creation.. that is a very special backup.. and I store them for every pc I setup. Fortunately very few these days.. To install the OS, drivers, updates (these take forever plus several registrations to MS), antivirus, security software, basic software like office, register everything, ring microsoft to convince them you are reinstalling because you had to wipe the pc and are not stealing the software. Discover that the PC has no original disks because the supplier loaded it onto a partition on the hard disk which is now dead. Load emails.. those are painful..remember all your account names, account info, all the passwords all the favourites.. that takes a few days.
When you get a new pc, an unused full install.. everything registered.. everything working as it should.. take a clone snapshot.. and protect it like crazy. That snapshot will have your pc back in working condition in under 1 hour. What is more it will be small.. a few gigabyte at most.. you can probably fit the whole thing on a 8GB usb stick. Lock that away in a draw.. it is precious.. my precious.. get it with a nice ring on the end.. !!
There is a full working pc with all your software, fully registered without more effort than starting the restore. All shrunk down to an $10 storage device.
You can do the same thing after say 1 year.. the backup might no longer fit on a nice disk but you can get hard disks for very cheap. It also represents a working volume, all the current passwords, all the current favourites and setups. After that things tend to go downhill.. files and registry bloats out and viruses get in.. etc. But at least the day of creation backup is so so worth it.
So, maybe I can still use the MS Backup process I've been using and write to the TC as an "external hard drive" location for the backup file?
It will work.. much more cannot be said.
Wishing you a Happy New Year - wherever in the world you might be!
    Australia.. !!
But same back to you.. with knobs on!!

  • External drive for Mac & WIndows?

I hope this is the correct forum for this question.
I need to format an external hard drive on a Mac, so that it can be read on a Windows PC. The drive will contain QT movie files, specifically media from FCP, which need to be referred to on a PC outside of FCP. Is it possible to format a drive this way? I looked at Disk Utility, where it seems I can choose the FAT32 format, but I understand this has a file size limit of 4GB, which may be a significant limitation with video files. If I can format a drive to to be read on a PC, will I still be able to read that drive on a Mac?
I have successfully accessed on my Mac, without a problem, media files which were written onto a PC formatted external drive. Can I do the same in reverse?
    John

Mac OS X can read NTFS drives, but not write to them without third-party software.
Windows can't do anything with a Mac formatted drive without additional software.
These don't apply to drives shared over a network; in this case, treat all computers as if they had the filesystem capabilities of the computer the drive is directly connected to. If plugged into an AirPort base station's USB port, the drive can be either Mac OS Extended or FAT32.
