Driver for Qualcomm Atheros model QCWB335 Windows 7(64)

Sorry that one didn't work for you. Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

Hello. I am looking for a Driver for Qualcomm Atheros Model QCWB335 for Windows 7(64). (802.11 b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth(R) [1x]) I tried the HP support system discovery and recommended driver report, it reads incorrect hardware and product. I tried this soulution hoping for backwards compatibility, but it did not work. http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Wireless-Internet-Home-Networking/Driver-for-Qualcomm-Atheros-model-QCWB335/m-p/4073978/highlight/true#M70244 My notebook is an HP Pavilion 17t (f000?)  P/N: J5R51AVI upgraded the BIOS to F.34Windows 7 Ultimate (64)Installed drivers sp67265, sp68433, sp67625, and failed to install the sp66402. Ethernet connection works, WLAN and Bluetooth do not.The WLAN and bluetooth worked fine with Linux Ubuntu 14.04  History of the laptopOn Feb 5th, 2015 ordered from factory:HP Pavilion 17t Windows 7 Professional P/N: J8H36AV with 802.11 b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth(R) [1x] Received:HP Pavilion 17t Windows 7 Professional P/N: J5R51AV with 802.11 b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth(R) [1x] Worked great out of the box. Tried to install Ubuntu as a dualboot, and discovered I would need to tweak the Ubuntu install to work with the 4 partitions HP had already set up on the hard disk. Instead, I backed up Windows with the Windows backup, created a bootable recovery disk on to a USB via HP recovery wizard. The HP recovery wizard said the USB recovery disk was a success. I reformatted the hard drive usint Active@ killdisk and installed Linux Ubuntu 14.04 successfully. Everything on the laptop worked, including the WLAN and Bluetooth. Backed up Ubuntu using the Ubuntu backup utility, and also created a clone of the hardrive using Clonezilla live 2.3.2. Attempted to boot from HP Recovery disk on USB and it failed. Tried again, failed. Contacted HP, they graciously sent out recovery disks for free. Only they sent recovery disks for Windows 8.1, so I contacted HP again and they graciously sent recovery disks for Windows 7. Recovery disks would work almost all the way through the Windows installation, giving 3 errors and allowing an install log to be copied. The errors were "chkErrBB.CMD Detect some error during PININST_BBV.", "check c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootWarn.log.", and "check c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootMerg.log." Scanning the hardrive showed that the 4 partitions HP factory installs were installed, but the Windows folders were shell folders. HP support had contacted me and suggested I send the laptop in and pay them to install the restore, and I instead purchased Windows 7 Ultimate for a clean install.  Using HP support driver tools, it reports the wrong notebook and suggest drivers for a WLAN radio that I do not have installed on the motherboard.  I updated the BIOS to F.34 and that did not help. I don't know how to extract the driver from the HP driver and utilities recovery disk HP sent me, it is in a file format I do not know how to manipulate. I can connect to the internet using the ethernet cable, just not the WLAN.

My Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit system has a built-in driver for this printer model:
I don't know whether the driver is present on a fresh Windows install; it may only have appeared in the list after the Windows Update button was clicked on the above Add Printers dialogue, then waiting (perhaps for several minutes) whilst additional drivers were downloaded, and the list repopulated.
I'd assume that the same might be true of earlier Windows versions as well.

Hi, exactly the matrix driver is the right one for the Sata controler look here
choose the right version for your chipset , look for version for floppy 32bit , run it take some diskette put , and this file will put the drivers right to diskette, then copy this files from diskette, and save them somewhere on the hard (by the way DO THIS ON SOME other computer) . the name of the floopy manager file is "f6flpy32"
If you already have the sata drivers (extracted files from this file ''f6flpy32'')
Take the tirth party program called: "nLite" copy the disired windows to a folder on the pc, and then turn on the nLite program (the program runs only on windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista) and follow the steps first screen is for the windows that you already copy on the pc (choose where is he) secound screen i think was for the sata driver (choose where is he) and follow the other steps until it finish, then will run to modify the new windows (with integrated sata driver for sata for XP).
here is the right link for the matrix driver for L40-14F http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-025753.htm
(Choose Intel?® Matrix Storage Manager, choose XP, then Floopy "
32-bit Floppy Configuration Utility for Intel?® Matrix Storage Manager")
    Good Luck!

  • Can't install driver for HP P1006 LaserJet under Windows 8.1 64 bit

    Hi,
I can not install the driver for HP P1006 LaserJet under Windows 8.1 64 bit.
I download the driver installation program from the HP website. When I run it, it says reinstalling the driver files, then copying files to the hard drive and then it crashes. I also tried using the driver CD that came with the printer to no avail.
The printer works fine on my other laptop with Vista on it. Help!

    Hi peshi77,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are trying to install your HP Laserjet P1006 to your computer running Windows 8.1, but everytime you attempt to extract the files it crashes. After some research I see there were no updated drivers made available for the Windows 8.1 OS, you must install the Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver, to get the basic printing functions. Please click on the link below to download and install:
HP LaserJet P1000-P1500 Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver
Once downloaded, please follow the on screen instructions. I hope this helps!

Mac 101: Printing (OS X Lion)
    Important:
Your OS X Lion system will either have the necessary printing software already installed, or it will automatically download and install software when the printer is connected or configured. Do not install software that came with the printer as it may be out of date, and do not connect the printer to your Mac yet. Follow the instructions that came with the printer to unpack, install ink or toner, and insert paper.  Finally, use the instructions in this article to connect the printer to your Mac.
The procedures are identical for Mountain Lion.

  • Satellite A200 - Do I need driver for SD card slot on Windows 7?

    Hello,
I'm french so sorry for my poor and wrong english.
I installed windows 7 32bit on my Toshiba Satellite A200 and my SD drive doesn't work.
    Must I donwload I driver?
    Regards,

I used the Vista driver on Win 7 preinstalled notebook and it did work.
I have no idea what A200 notebook model you have but in my case the driver was called:
    Flash Media Driver 2.0.0.6
This is a driver for your Bridge Media Slot. This slot lets you insert either a SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture card.

    HI Slim2,
I am sorry to say, there is no driver or full feature software for the Deskjet 540 for Windows 7. The only available driver is for Windows XP. You may consider getting a newer printer. I would suggest you call HP. HP might be able to offer you a discount on a newer model.

  • I recently purchase macbook air with OS 10.10.2. I want to use my Seagate external backup plus hard drive for time machine back up. How to partition my 1TB Seagate back up plus hard drive for use with mac and windows pc?

    Hi All,
I recently purchased 13" Macbook Air with OS 10.10.2. I want to use my 1TB Seagate backup plus external hard drive as time machine and my windows 7 pc. Please suggest a method. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I strongly recommend having an external drive dedicated solely for TimeMachine. You could partition the drive but if something goes wrong you risk losing the data on both partitions. Should you decide to go ahead with splitting the drive for two different uses you’ll need to partition the drive either using the Mac’s built in Disk Utility program or Windows utility. I believe the built in Windows disk utility program will destroy the current partition and erase the data that’s on it - I use a third party Windows disk utility program for partitioning and it allows for non-destructive partitioning but warns to back up data first just in case. Apple’s Disk Utility can do non-destructive partitions but I don’t recall every trying to do a non-destructive partition on a disk originally formatted for Windows using it. Again - back up that data just in case.
Finally, your TimeMachine drive should be at least 1.5 times (I prefer 2 times) the size of the data you expect to be backing up a year or two from now.  In other words, if you currently are using 50GB of your computer’s drive but expect to begin purchasing Mac software to replace software on your Windows computer and if you expect to be putting photos, music, and other data on it you might expect that two years from now you’ll have 100GB of stuff on the drive. So a 200GB partition is the smallest size you’d want.  TM’s backup scheme keeps multiple copies of data as it changes so the extra room is important for this scheme.

  • FORMAT HARD DRIVE FOR USE ON MAC AND WINDOWS

I'm going to start working on scanning a lot of old family photos and getting them put on an external hard drive for my parents.  I'd also like to eventually put old VHS family home movies on the hard drive as well.  However, I'm not sure what to do about the hard drive.  I know if I format it to be compatible with my Mac it probably won't be compatible with their PC.  I read about the FAT32 option but I saw something about a file not working if it's over 4 GB in size.  I'm thinking maybe some of those home movies will be larger than 4GB.  I also saw an exFAT option.  If I go with that will I be able to scan the photos on my Mac, get the home videos converted and put it all on the hard drive will all of it be visible and usable on their Windows PC?
    Thanks for your help!

    matahari_1946,
if you’re not yet backing up your Mac’s internal hard disk, I’d recommend first that you purchase an external hard drive for yourself for exclusive use as a Time Machine backup destination; that way, in case of a disk problem, you won’t permanently lose all of your scanned photos and imported movies.
A 4 GB file limit does apply to FAT32 filesystems. If their version of Windows allows, the external disk which will hold those photos and videos should be formatted as NTFS from their PC, so that they can watch video files over 4 GB. (It’s unlikely that an individual photo file would be over 4 GB.) However, OS X doesn’t come out of the box with NTFS support. The exFAT filesystem is able to hold files over 4 GB, and it is supported by Mac OS X 10.6.5 and newer, but it’s optimized for flash drives; it’s more “fragile” on hard disks than other filesystems are. As a workaround, you could format a flash drive to have exFAT, copy videos over 4 GB onto the flash drive, and then use your parents’ PC to copy the videos from the flash drive to their NTFS external disk. Other alternatives would be to look for third-party software for OS X which supports reading from and writing to NTFS disks, or third-party software for Windows which supports reading from and writing to journaled HFS+ (the default OS X filesystem) disks.

  • How can I use single hard drive for both Mac OS and Windows without changing the formats and reformatting?

I have a windows PC and a Macbook Air and a 1TB external hard drive. They said in order to transfer large files into the hard drive you have to change the format of your hard drive (which would be from MS-DOS to Mac Os extended) so how can I use my external hard drive on my windows PC without reformatting its files? Please heeeelp

Natively Windows can read and write to NTFS, FAT32, and exFAT while the Mac can read and write to FAT32, exFAT, and MacOS Extended.
Option 1: You can purchase driver software for Windows to allow it to read and write Mac's MacOS Extended or you can purchase a driver to allow the Mac to read and write to NTFS.
Option 2: you can format the hard drive for exFAT and use it with both Windows and the Mac without purchasing any special drivers. (Obviously the 4GB file size limit is why you don't want to use FAT32)

  • Using external hard drive for itunes from mac to windows

Hello, I have an external hard drive for my itunes music connected to a G4. I just bought a laptop (windows) and would like to connect the external drive to it so it will read my music from the external hard drive. How can i do that?
    Thanks,
    M

You will lose all data when you reformat so you must copy it elsewhere temporarily, as for the format go to: Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility>Erase, in the format dropdown select MSDOS (FAT) and in the name dropdown, type a name.
Copy your data back to it and it will be accessible to windows and osx

  • Windows 7 can´t find the driver for HP Officejet 5510. (Windows Update is set to automatic.)

Hello everyone, I just installed Windows 7 - 64 bit. Supposedly the driver for the HP Officejet 5510 will install automatically in Windows 7 when connected via a USB, which is not happening.

I am getting the message that Windows 7 can't find the driver. I don´t understand why?
My Windows Update is set  to automatic.
I see the device under printers. But when I click on it it says driver missing.
Is there any solution? Possibility to get the driver some other way? Unfortunately HP doesn't provide a download on their website.
    Can anyone help me, pleease?
    Honza

I have the same problem. I spent all this money to get more features, not less so Windows 7 should run all of my XP stuff. Now I see that my HP Officejet 5510 all-in-one won't scan and I can't save in pdf format. C'mon HP....give us a driver! If I wind up having to buy another printer, I swear it won't be an HP if I get abandoned on this one. And I'll also switch vendors for all of the printers I'm responsible for replacing at work too.
