Driver Problems X-Fi XtremeMusic! HELP (only in German!

Ich hoffe hier halten sich auch Deutschsprachige User auf! Oo
Ich habe ein Treiber Installations Problem meiner X-Fi Xtreme music.
Diese Karte hat vor kurzem in einem anderen Rechner noch einwandfrei funktioniert. Nun mit meinem neuen Rechner nicht mehr. weiteres m?chte ich ihnen gerne erl?utern.
Leider habe ich die Installations CD nicht mehr und musste mir somit den zu meinem System passenden Treiber von ihrer Seite laden.
Nachdem ich Onboard Sound deaktiviert habe, neustartete, jegliche anwendung schloss, den Treiber startete und die Software das vorgehen "Windows Treiber werden aktualisiert" anzeigte wurde (und wird auch immer wieder angezeigt, habe mehrere Versuche gestartet) die Installation abgebrochen, der Blaue "Windows wurde aus sicherheitsgr?nden Runtergefahren" Display erscheint wobei ganz unten folgendes steht:

nach einem neustart des System, bekomme ich nach fertigem Booten die Fehlermeldung:
"Die Software die f?r diese Hardware installiert wird, hat den Windows Logo test nicht bestanden wollen sie fortsetzen JA/Nein"
nach best?tigung mit Ja sucht er explizit die Creative Treiber CD die ich wie erw?hnt nicht habe. er l?t auch nicht die Runtergeladene Treiber exe auslesen sondern nur die CD.
Jedoch bin ich mir nicht sicher das dieses Problem mit der Treiber CD getan ist, ich konnte die Karte vor kurzem auf einem anderen Rechner auch mit Homepage Treibern installieren. Ohne Probleme.
Ich w?rde mich um jegliche Hilfe freuen!

I'm using Cool Edit Pro 2., but even in Creative Audio Console?it only records Left Channel when I have it set to Line In input. I can set it'sto "What you Hear"?and it records stereo, but it records the metronome and other tracks also. I'm using ASIO driver mode. I'm going from my keyboard (Line Out?jack)?straight into the sound card with a regular instrument cable, with a /8" adaptor into the sound card. Maybe this is the problem? What kind of cable do I need for stereo? I also tried going from my bass directly to the soundcard, but I have the same problem.

hi...i want to install sql server 2000 into my IDE Jbuilder 8 Enterprise Edition
i have follow the instruction that i make a config file by using enterprise setup tool, database driver in Jbuilder and location select <Jbuilder>
i added new library included the 3 jar file (mssql.jar,msbase.jar and msutil.jar) and made a config file call sqlLib
after that i go to project|project properties
at the path page select required library and add the library file that i generated (sqllib)
i added database component in my java page and setup the properties for the connection

i also try added the 3 jar file in lib/ext and jre/lib/ext..
same condition...:(Make a simple program that just does a Class.forName("theDriverName");
to eliminate all the fancy stuff from jBuilder.
When you've got the simple things working you can move on.

Beginning dump of physical memory
The computer is fine just browsing the internet for example, but if I use a CAD package it will crash. Today it crashed just opening a Word document..
The OS is Windows XP SP2 installed on a 24" Intel Imac.
I've also installed the latest drivers from this link:

Note crashing happened before I installed these drivers too.

Cd drive problems.... help please!
Hey everyone
I realise that this is a frequently answered question on the forum but I have a slightly varied version.
The CD/DVD drive has started to deteriorate and won't read certain CDs. Anyway, I took it into the Apple shop and they recommended that I put it in for a service which will apparently cost me £100 for a new drive and £80 for labour! Bloody H*ll!
So I'm hoping someone can recommend a good drive that I can purchase for less than £100 ($200) that will be compatible with my Imac G4 that I can get someone to install for cheaper than the £80 Apple have quoted me.
A good Apple repair company in London would be brilliant too.
I really appreciate any help.

If you're handy with a screw driver then have a read of this post (link).
You may find that you need this driver: Patchburn (link).
If not then £80 does sound steep for labour; in Cheltenham the two AASPs I know of charge £55 and £65 respectively. Here is a list of London based Authorized Apple Service Providers for you to shop around.
External. Alternatively go for an external drive like this (link); far simpler.
Either way you should update to OS 10.3.9 for better security and compatibility ( Apple Menu > Software Update).

Satellite A65 Hard Drive Problem...PleasE Help!
When I try to boot my computer (Sarellite A65-S126) I get the following message,....It keeps scrolling down my computer.

I have looked in the BIOS and the boot order is sound. Also I have tried to boot directly from the HDD and it will not do it. Also, I looked in the BIOS and it does not recoginze the hard drive "no hard drive". I have heard that what the computer is trying to do is boot from the internet connection....but it should be booting from my hard drive. IS the drive shot???? If not, I can not repair it via the orginal disk I got with the computer. It will not format the hard drive because it does not see the hard drive......I REALLY do need help....my daughter's school work is on it and it is the computer she uses to go to school on....home schooled.... HELP PLEASE....The hard drive has failed. If you are very lucky, you may be able to recover some of all of the data by removing the drive and putting it in an USB external drive housing. That system has a PATA drive so be sure and get one for an IDE drive. HERE is an example from NewEgg. You can then plug the drive into another computer's USB port and see if you can recover any of the data. You can replace the drive in the computer with a 2.5" PATA laptop drive such as the Seagate Momentus line. Toshiba has replacement drives up to 250GB. You can then restore the system with your recovery disks and hopefully you will have been able to recover something from the old drive. Consider that you've had an object lesson in the reasons to keep current backups of important data.

you should not have a main class. You should have a main method inside a class eg:The original name of the class is Ventana, but you can actually name a class main.
Also, your constructor should have the same name as your class eg:The constructor in the word class it's written like that because I translated the code to english so that it could be more simply to understand.

TV@nywhere Driver Problem...PLEASE HELP!
I just reformatted and put SP1 on XP and reinstalled all the drivers from the MSI Site. Everything installed correctly except when one thing, nVidia WDM video capture (universal). Under device manager there is an exclamation point there and its properties say: This device cannot start. (Code 10). I click on "update drivers" and point to where I unpacked the nvidia wdm drivers, but it still doesn't work. No matter what program I try, i cannot get it to find any channels. What can I do? This worked fine on my previous install of XP without SP1.
krisOk if the WDM video capture have nothing to do with my TV @nywhere, then does anyone have any idea what my problem is? With just XP the card worked beautifully and picked up all channels. Now it scans and picks up nothing. I have tried every program out there to no avail: powerVCR II, showshifter, virtual vcr, WinDVR, etc...the only program I HAVE NOT tried is MSIPVS b/c I don't have my cd case with me and therefore the serial #. But regardless, no other program will pick up channels, I only get blue. Should I check IRQ's or perhaps move PCI slots? Or is it something else? Thanks guys.

External hard drive problem after time machine [help!]

Last week, I partition a 320 G Samsung external hard drive into a 300G volume (format: Mac OS extended (journaled)) for Time Machine, and other 20G NTFS for data exchange between Mac and Windows. At the same time, I stored 40G IMPORTANT data in the 300G volume.
However, I plugged in the drive. My MBP MC374 managed to mount the 20G NTFS while the 300G is missing!
I opened up Disk Utility, it shows:
Please help! The data matters a lot to me!!Specifically you screen shot does not show anything.

Combo Drive Problem - External Replacement - iDVD Help
Recently the Combo Drive on my flat panel iMac went bad. It no longer does anything. I see that this is a common senerio.
I just purchased an external CD/DVD multi recorder (HP 940 - USB). It works great went burning CD's (from iTunes) and Burn folders. However, whenever I try to burn from iDVD the computer doesn't seem to know that it is plugged in. It just ejects my internal combo drive drawer which doesn't work. Does anyone know how to get the iMac to recognize an external burner when burning from iDVD?

The Patchburn (link) driver might help but iDVD isn't the best for working with any old 3rd party burner.
It could also be a USB thing. Most iMac G4 have USB1.1 which is really too slow for proper DVD burning. If it has it connect the device via the much faster Firewire connection.

ok so ive got a mac mini and i reformatted the main hardrive but first i backed all my files up.....then once i had installed tiger it wouldnt boot up it just stayed on the bott screen...so i reformatted it again...now it boots but the dvd drive is so **** slow......it says its gonna take 27 hours to copy 2.7gb from my dvd+rw..anyonce know what's wrong with it..before it was alot faster and now it just slows right down...also while im copying it the cpu and memory are maxed out...any help is excellent and highly apreciated....thx

its a power pc.......ummm apart from tiger i put norton anti virus, pocket tanks, microsoft office 2004 for mac, limewire pro, norton personal firewall, a few dvd's...took about 40 min to copy to harddrive each......over 7 gp.....no this wasnt illegal so dont tell me it was.....all my music..i know none of these things have viruses on them because i scan them with about 3 different virus scanners before i use them/unarchive them...all of the macromedia programs basicly....fireworks,dreamweavor,flash pro.....adobe photoshop....no i did not illegally pirate this stuff....im a student and im taking a **** of all lot of computer crap....i just dont know what the ****'s wrong with my dvd drive... and i really need it fixed as im a student and have school ever day of the week..... -

In FCP X How do I capture tape-based media (hdv clips)- which I want to import-to my external hard drive? There is only one firewire 800 port on the back of my I mac. The FCPX manual says to import tape footage directly into final cut, which works, but then I lose my external hard drive Do I have to import it into an event, then copy it over to an external hard drive? On Larry Jordan's tutorial, he has 3 external hard drives that show up on his monitor WHILE he imports his tape based media. How is that done? I can only get either the camera to appear OR my external hard drive. thanks for your help.

I have always done what you suggest (works fine in FCP7), but in FCPX when I do that the camcorder icon
does not appear. It only shows up when I DIRECTLY import the footage via firewire. ???? -
Help! folder icon w/ exclamation point - hard drive problem?
I live in the philippines and the store which i called up said the only solution is to show the receipt and they will send it to singapore but i still have to buy a new one. it's like they're not giving me choices at all. i know my iPod is not yet "dead", why do i have to buy a new one? how can i have this repaired?! it hasn't been a year yet, but around 10 months already and i don't have the receipt anymore.
here's what happened...
for the past week my iPod has been skipping songs, going to the next ones but doesn't play at all. sometimes it even freezes. and i hear this whirring sound at the back.
so i decided to connect it to the computer and erase all my songs first coz i thought maybe the problem was with the files. but iTunes didn't recognize the device. so i decided to reset it (so that the songs and my factory settings will be erased) by pressing menu and select at the same time. then after i did this the "do not disconnect" message kept on showing up and eventually it just stayed there. so i tried resetting again. the apple logo shows up but after a while the folder icon with exclamation point shows up. then it would turn off.
I tried restoring it with updater but it says it could not mount the ipod. so this might be a hard drive problem already. how can i solve this?

Usually, they will send your machine to the nearest repair station. I think in SEAsia, repair stations are in Malaysia.
Your iPod comes with a universal warranty, so you could definitely have that repaired even without the receipt. <Im from the Philippines too. I what you mean...>

I am sure it is due to my error or mistake but I received a new Maxtor III touch as a replacement for my failed drive yesterday after connecting it I went to Maxtor one touch manager software that came with it and the drive did not appear in the window so then I opened disk utilities and copied my notebook hard drive over to the Maxtor ran permissions on each drive and then closed down my system ! today when I opened my Powerbook with the Maxtor on it gave me the grey screen 2x so I disconnected the Maxtor ran permissions again and everything was fine until i power up the Maxtor and Grey screen again! Help How do I fix this?????Maxtor one touch III firewire 800 its connected to my Titanium G$ Powerbook I am beginning to think its just another drive failure

I was trying to sync my 120GB iPod Classic earlier, and it said it couldn't sync as the iPod disk could not be "read" or "written to." I now can't get anything onto my iPod, and I was wondering if it is a hard drive problem? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Did you go into iTunes to change the location of your media files? if not you will need to go into iTunes and click on preference and select the advance tab then click the iTunes Media folder location. Select the location of your on external hard drive.
