Drivers fault for ipod 1st gen

hi please please can some one help i av the 1st gen ipod touch which sadly i dropped into water i av ad it in rice for 3 days and now i a picture of a white apple with i spinning circle like its try to load but thats all i get i can not turn power off also when i plug usb into laptop i get usb device not reconised iv tried going into device manger and uninstalling it and reinstall but still getting same message please can any1 help

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Are AASPs allowed to charge customers that will qualify for the 1st Gen iPod nano recall? There are no Apple stores in the Philippines, only AASPs. Early reports from customers claim that one of the AASPs is charging a 10% discounted price for the replacement. We need clarification from Apple if the AASPs are allowed to do this since this seems counter to what the replacement program is supposed to do. I will not name the AASP for now until I personally confirm the reports.

There are no Apple stores in my country either, i went yesterday to one of those AASP but they didnt charge me or said anything about a price, just checked the screen, wheel and frame i guess to see if there was anything broken because they didnt turn it on. Confirmed the serial number, gave me a receipt and told me to come back in six weeks with the receipt to get my ipod back. I dont think they are supposed to charge you

The repair status says that the box was shipped at 23 november but still no box...

iPod 1st Gen (with scroll wheel) will not connect to iTunes 12.1 on MacBookPro. Charging when I plug it in, want to add music to it, but iTunes will not recognize it. Anyone have any suggestions or does anyone know if this iPod is no longer supported by iTunes?

IPod 1st Gen Connection?

So recently I got a iPod 1st Gen (w/ Scroll Wheel) thats 5GB. And I also got a Firewire Card for my PC. My iPod is already Windows Formatted. Anyway I'm trying to sync music to it on my PC. But its not getting recognized in Windows Explorer (not on any drive in My Computer). Whenever I connect it, it says "Ok to Disconnect" with the check and it recharges. It won't show up on my computer. Can anyone help? And yes I've already read this article entitled "iPod missing in "My Computer" or in iTunes for Windows."

IPod (1st gen) tries to reset but no battery!

I have an iPod 1st Gen, and i wanted to reset it, but now everytime i turn it on it's resetting (apple logo and spinning circle) but then the battery is empty and its recharging to 1/4 and then tries to reset again. This loops forever it doesn't finish. I can't do anything because it's just resetting and then the battery is empty again and then it's gonna recharge for a while and then tries it all again, i really need help because this is happening for 2 weeks now i don't know what to do. Since the photos were likely synced to the iPod, you need a third-party program to get synced photos from an iPod to a computer. Some programs are TouchCopy and PhoneView. The free iFunBox MAY work too.

quite surprised it suggests that iPhone 3gs s more powerful than the iPad1? iphone 3gs is supported. something is fishy. i don't want to fall out of love with apple products. looks like it's a business decision to cut support for iPad 1 - not technical shortcoming. if apple cut support for 3gs they will upset customers who just bought 3gs before iphone 5 was launched.... tsk tsk tsk.. i'm not from US. hope to see a class action suit by US peeps to resolve this...

Some apps have older versions available.
Try this if you want an App that says you need iOS 7 or later:
Go to iTunes on a computer or on a device running iOS 7 and find the app you want and download it using your Apple ID and password.
Now go back to your iPod Touch Gen 4 and go to the App Store and tap updates at the bottom right, then tap Purchased at the top. Find the app on the list that you just downloaded on the computer (or other device) and tap the cloud to download it. If it has an alternate version available that is compatible with your iOS, it will prompt you and allow you to download that.
