Drivers for creative ze

Hello everyone,
How can i download drivers and software for my Zen v or which recommendable sites do you use if you want to download these.

When you are at Creative's website, click on 'Support' followed by 'Technical Support'. After that, click on 'Download' and in the Product category, select 'MP3 Players', 'Zen' and 'Zen V' then click 'Next'. Then on that screen, select the language, operating system and click 'Go'. You will then be presented with all the current files for that OS for Creative Zen V.

  • URGENT: Any drivers for Creative Zen

    Hey, somebody.
I've written to the support but it takes so long time so I hope someone here will answer sooner.
I bought a new Zen V and installed all the **bleep** on the CD, after that the manual says that I sholud connect my mp3 and load it, then start to use it. My problem here is that my computer doesn't find the mp3player. The usb device can't find any drivers at all in windows, i've also tried the CD to find any drivers. Not a **bleep** there either.
Please help me, where can I find driver to make the computer find the player. I really need to use my mp3, I have tinnitus and music is my only cure.
    Thankful for ANYthing!
    /Josefine

As to your problem, the drivers for the Zen V are actually built into Windows XP Service Pack & 2, so they are not on the CD. If Windows is telling you it can't find the driver, the first thing you need to check is your Service Pack.

Try going through the KnowledgeBase article above, especially the "For Windows XP Users" section, as it applies to your case. One other thing you may want to try is a different USB port, preferably one on the BACK of the computer. Those ports tend to have less issues with mp3 players.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

  • Windows 98 drivers for Creative Ensonique Audio

    Hello
I've got a Creative Ensonique Audio PCI (CT480).
The problem is, that I haven't got any drivers disk, so that I've had a look at the creative website.
At the download area I've found a driver, called "Standalone driver for Creative ENSONIQ AudioPCI on Windows 95/98" (file name:epw9xup.exe").
When I now start the setup under windows 98 (first edition), then the setup successfully ends up it's task and asks me, to restart my computer. After that, nothing happens. The questionmark under the hardware control centre (for an unnkown multimedia device) is still available.
What can I do now ?
Is that a true stand allone driver or just a update ?

    patrick-online,
That driver is meant for the ES37 card. If you have a CT480 soundcard, you could try using this driver.

If anybody Have a solution for install my zen micro or can help me , please ... I have to buy another Mp3 Player ? This have a solution ?Thanks ,i hope that you can help me. Regards

I updated my Firmware as stated by Creative Labs support team. I downloaded on my son's PC which has Window's XP Pro edition. Again, on his PC there is no problem with recognition of the device and/or player. However, when I plug my player into my PC which has Vista, the device manager has a "!" next to ZEN Micro Photo. So my PC "See's" the player. However, when you right click and then go to "Properties" it states that "The drivers for this device are not installed (code 28)" Then it states to "reinstall the drivers" But when I tried to install or reinstall the "Driver" using the install wizard, I get an error message... "An error occurred during the installation of the device" and " A service installation section in this INF is invalid" Then a pop bubble appears and says "Found new hardware" You may have a problem with your device. It may not be working properly" So what do I do at this point. The only way for me currently to download music is to use my son's PC. At least I have another option... I feel sorry for the rest of you. When will creative wake up and smell the Vista!!

  • Drivers for Creative WebCam II ( with paralell port ) for windows XP

Hi, I'm looking for the drivers for mi camera. It is a Creative WebCam II, that uses paralell port. I need drivers for Windows XP. I would be peased if you send it by email to: [email protected] a lot.

Windows XP doesn't support Parallel Port webcams, so I do not believe it is even possible to make such a driver. That webcam was also made back in 994-95...

  • I need Drivers for Creative-Labs PCI128 PCI CT-4750 to windows 7 help!

hi, people, I need Drivers for? Creative-Labs PCI28 PCI CT-4750 to windows 7, I installs a few drivers but in the SO dont work very well, because this card have 2 out of audio and only sound out (green out), I think the problen is the drivres, I cant found, need help, im from venezuela, mi english its not good T_T
    here the imagen: <img border="0" height="338" width="450" src="http://images.enet.com.cn/iflow/articleimage/200404/080872909934.jpg">
in the control panel > sound > only appears the opcion "mono and stereo"

Unless you can get the last XP driver from 2002 to install in compatibility mode, you can pretty much forget about it. That card is just way to old to get any kind of driver for Windows 7.

  • Drivers for Creative Sound Blaster X-

I need help. Whether there is a common package of drivers for this series for windows 2003. Has viewed all Internet but has found nothing. Or maybe someone know where i can download drivers for Windows 2003 server ?

Windows 2003 is the server OS, right? Configured as a workstation?
It uses the exact same driver model as XP. Use the XP drivers and you might have to use compatibility features to fool the installer into working.
Download the files to your hard dri've. Right click the installer to get the context menu, and look for the compatibility options. You can have the OS tell the installer it is really XP.
If that doesn't work, you can use the debug lie features of the free microsoft debug tester... called High Version Lie, to tell a more convincing lie to the app and get it to install. This is needed, for example, with Adobe CS2/3. It's part of Microsoft Application Verifier, a free download. I doubt you will need that, though it is handy for installing some things on 2003 server.
You can avoid all that if you are running x64, since as I understand it the XP x64 uses the same core as the 2003 server x64 so it's just as good.... using XP x64 is easier and has better performance than Vista x64.

  • Can't install drivers for Creative Zen 'Data Inval

I have just bought a 8gb Creative Zen but everytime I try to install it I keep getting the message "There is a problem with this hardware (Creative Zen) An error occurred during the installation of the device, The data is invalid" and when I go into device manager and click on the properties in there for the Zen (Which has a yellow iconon it) it says
"This device is not configured correctly. (Code )".
I looked up this error on the Microsoft Technet website and it says [size="">"by clicking Update Driver, which starts the Hardware Update wizard. If updating the driver does not work, see your hardware documentation for more information." I have tried to update the driver but it won't update either.
I'm running Windows XP with Service pack 2
Any help is appreciated as i'm getting extremely frustrated.
    Jim

Re-installing XP might not, and probably won't do it. The re-install will keep most if not all of your Windows settings and installed files. It may repair or install files that are corrupted or missing, but that's about all.
What happens when you delete the entry from Device Manager and then reconnect the player? If it still installs with a conflict, you'll probably have to track down the application or device that is causing the conflict. Also that inevitable question ... do you have Windows Media Player installed? There have been some instances where Creative players have not paired with the driver correctly with WMP, but work fine with WMP0.
You might also want to take a look at this thread at Epizenter

they have some hard-core Creative fans over there and the discussion is usually a bit more in-depth regarding technical issues.

  • Search drivers for Creative webcam N10225, PD1110 on Windows Vista 64

I'm searching drivers to run my webcam on a Pc with windows vista 64
    Creative webcam N10225, PD1110
    Thank You

I'm in a similar situation with the Intel 6850, 4 MB of RAM, and the Xi-Fi Extreme Music. I am running VISTA Home Premium 64 bit. I bought my new computer at the end of Sept. and the sound has been on and off mostly off since then. Most of the time I just get static. I have the latest driver installed (I think its Nov. 4) but very, very poor sound.

    Hi khat,
The bundled application/driver is no longer compatible on Windows 8.1. You may, however, make use of the Windows generic driver to detect it as a mass storage class device. Hopefully, that works for you.

  • 3rd party ASIO drivers for Creative external (USB) soundca

If you're using your USB soundcard for music making (recording) and you're suffering on
latency problems, you might want to check this out.
USB Audio (http://www.usb-audio.com/) is offering low latency USB ASIO driver, which is
statet to be compatible with Creative's external (USB) soundcard models:
    - Audigy 2 NX (48 kHz only / not on Mac OS X yet),
    - Extigy (48kHz only),
    - MP3+ (48kHz only),
    - SoundBlaster Li've 24bit external
<i>Limitations using Creative Extigy with this driver: 48 kHz, stereo output, line or
mic input (digital input only while output is muted), no MIDI, no remote control
functionality. We worked hard to change this, still it seems to be impossible at the
    moment. </i>
USB ASIO is commercial product, but there is a demo version available, so you can test
if it would make your life feel easier (http://usb-audio.com/download.html).

OK, I can now CONFIRM that this problem IS with the latest (but rather old) Kensington V3.0 driver. From Kensington Tech Support:
    Subject:
(Info) Expert Mouse & Leopard - scroll ring no longer zooms Mac screen in and out
    Discussion Thread
Response (Asif Ali) 11/03/2007 01:05 PM
Thank you for contacting Kensington Technical Support.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
I understand your concern. I regret to inform you that Mouseworks 3.0 on 10.5 breaks the native Ctrl + Scroll to Zoom functionality, but for now the solution is to Uninstall Mouseworks if this functionality is preferred. As we test the Expert Mouse & MouseWorks on the release version of Leopard and found that all functionality/programmability works with MouseWorks installed except for scroll wheel zoom.
However as we have forwarded the issue to our software development team, we are expecting an updated release very soon.
I appreciate your understanding and patience.
    Regards,
