Officially, the HP Laserjet 1020 is not supported on Mac OS X:

Although it is not supported, there are some workaround you may try:
Download and install the package below:
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl907
From System Preferences, click on Print & Scan.
Click the Plus sign.
Select the listed LJ 1020 printer.
Click the drop down menu next to Use or Print Using and click on Select Printer Software.
Select the HP Laserjet 1022 from the list.
Click OK to confirm your selection and add the printer, then try printing using the configured print queue.

Where are the drivers for HP LaserJet 5P for Windows 8.1 (64bit)?

Had been using HP LaserJet 5p printer with HP LaserJet 5p printer driver, but had printer disconnect for a few months due to not have black toner. Now I want to use the printer and my control panel does not show HP Laser 5p printer for my tablet but shows it for my laptop. I can not find the driver on the HP support list and the support list does not recognize HP LaserJet 5p.

Hi.
Follow these steps to install the printer:

Basiclly you would need to turn the printer on and connect it to your Mac.
From the Apple Menu click on Software Update and install the HP Printer Drivers v3.0.
Next the printer should appear under Print & Scan, if it isn't click the plus sign and add it.

Cannot find drivers for HP laserjet 1000

for the love of GOD, can someone tell me why this is so difficult?
I'm on OSX 10.6.8 and the one printer that apple did not install drivers for is the one I am using: HP LASERJET 1000.
I have scoured the forums, and the queries that have been answered date back to four years ago, with the referenced links leading to non-existent sites.
Finally, I found some information.
I downloaded the open-source drivers called foo2zjs, but along with those you need FOOMATIC RIP and GHOSTSCRIPT, available from the Linux Foundation. Without the latter, the former won't work!
Thing is, the download links for FOOMATIC and GHOST don't work. I get a loading reset error

Printer Drivers for HP LaserJet CP1515N using Windows 7 64 bit

I am repeating the message as it is shown as solve below and this is not correct.
I am trying to find drivers for the HP LaserJet CP1515N that work for network printing. The HP site shows drivers are available but when you try to load them it shows a N/A message. The universal driver offered works for the printer via a usb cable but nor though a local network.

Wireless...I don't know what model WLAN card your model has, so please do the following steps so I can figure that out and I will then post the link to the driver you need...
Go to the device manager and there should be a device labeled Network Controller if the wireless driver is not installed.
Click on the Network Controller device and then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.
Now you should see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that list and select the second item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Mac OS X 10.7 drivers for HP LaserJet 1300: installation at the "Add Printer" process ended, every time, with message "Currently drivers for this printer are UNavailable..."! PLEASE HELP?

APPLE [see Apple Support's Article HT 3669] says Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) has drivers for this Printer.
But, every time I've tried installing it to my Mac Book Pro (which came with OS X 10.7), it does recognize that the Printer (connected via USB cable) is HP LaserJet 1300 -- in fact, right below, this statement appears: "The drivers for this Printer are available...". But, when it comes to the actual process of downloading, the "Add Printer" window -- after 20+ minutes of its "searching" for the drivers -- always ends with the message: "Currently drivers for this printer are UNavailable... contact the manufacturer."!!! (Can you imagine? Apple says it's available... but its own "Add Printer" process says it's UNavailable!)
I went to HP's support site, and it, too, says that drivers for this Printer are available! -- see the 2 links:

You haven't installed any of the Photoshop updates for CS5.
Go download and install the updates.

Do you receiving any error messages when you attempt to download the software? Does it try to download the software and fails? Can you download anything else on the computer or is it just isolated to HP software?

In out system we already configured on output device details as follows
Output Device Name         : FEPRINTER01
Device Type   : HPLJ4 - HP Laserjet 4 Series PCL -5
Device Class : Standard Printer
Host Spool Access Method :   G: Front end print with control technologe
Host Printer : __default
For one of end user computer is connected with HP Laserjet 1020 model type printer.
When this user is giving print out on to device FEPRINTER01
The spoll request is reaching OS spooler , when i open OS spooler folder - i can see request.
it waits for a while - the queue vanish , printer do some noise - but no print out comes from the printer.
Please do let me know what type of device i have to use for this model in this situation

I'm looking for the driver for a Laserjet 4 plus is there a driver. I wanted to share the Laserjet with my windows 7, but mac have removed the printer setup utility off Yosemite 10,10,4 so i'm now trying to use the Laserjet with the Mac

The laserjet 4 plus is not compatible with the MAC unless you have the postscript option installed. That said there are some aftermarket programs that will allow you to use a non postscript printer on a MAC. Best to do a search or post this question on the MAC support site.

I am thinking of buying this printer so it can be shared between a group of about 5 staff. I usually download and store drivers for printers etc on the network and install them from there but am unable to find any sort of link from which I can download 32/64 bit drivers for this product.
I need the specific drivers, not the UPD. The UPD is fine for generic print jobs but does not work with certain software.
Each time I try to find a driver for this device the links form a circle and simply send you back and forth between the same pages.
