Try the W7 32 bit drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G2.
Your model uses the Intel HD graphics driver.

My Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit system has a built-in driver for this printer model:
I don't know whether the driver is present on a fresh Windows install; it may only have appeared in the list after the Windows Update button was clicked on the above Add Printers dialogue, then waiting (perhaps for several minutes) whilst additional drivers were downloaded, and the list repopulated.
I'd assume that the same might be true of earlier Windows versions as well.

  • How do I set up e print for my laserjet P1102 for Mac

how do I set up e print for my laserjet P1102 for Mac? I have downloaded soft ware & ejected disc as directed & don't know next step. Thanks

    Hi,
As you have setup the printer now you should be having the printers IP address.
If not please connect your printer to wifi network with a valid internet network and get the IP address by printing the config page.
Make sure you connect Mac Book to the same wifi network.
Now type the IP address on a browser in your Mac Book and hit enter.
You should be able to see the Embedded Web Server page of your printer.
Now navigate to Web Services Tab.
Click on Enable to enable eprint on your printer.
This will enable the web services on your printer and print the information sheet.
The information sheet will contain the claim code for your printer.
The <Claimcode>@hpeprint.com will be your email ID for the printer.
    Kind Regards,
    Oliver

  • Install Failed for HP Laserjet 1200 Series in new Laptop with Windows 8, 64 Bit

Product Name - HP Laserjet 1200 Series, PCL 6 Driver
Operating System: Windows 8 Home Edition, 64 bit
Error Message : Can't find the 1200 Series on the Network. To locate manually click ok ....
Changes Made - This is an installation on new laptop, running Windows 8, 64 bit
    Description:
    1. Installing to an existing network, that consistedof a desktop and two wireless laptops.
    2. Both Laptops have Windows 7, 64 bit. Above named printer is successfully accessed from the laptops.
    3. Am replacing one of the laptops with the Windows 8 64 bit.
    4. The Series 1200 path is: Wireless Printer to Router, Router to Desktop via ethernet, Desktop to Printer via cable.
    5. The wireless printer configuration is
Name:  HP Laserjet 1200 Series PCL 5
            Port:     \\Central\HPLaserj
Printer: HP Laserjet 1200 Series PCL 5
          Driver: HPMCPM25.GPD   5.8.2008
    Problem
Unable to recreate this path with the Windows 8, 64 bit configuration.
    a. When I attempt to download a current driver always wind up with a file entitled UPD-pcl6-x64-5.6.0.14430
This appears to be a universal PCL 6 printer driver, Can successfully unzip the file and create a folder
    b. During installation I can see the the desktop printer ICON (name:\\central\HPLaserj); so far, so good
    c. Process fails to locate a driver and instructs to manually locate.
    d. Browsing to the HP Universal Driver Folders fails because a driver cannot be found .
    e. Attempting to manuall enter fails because you cannot input the above address (\\central\HPlaserj). Can only enter HPLaserj for the address, which obviously does not work.
    f. When the installation did show a list of drivers, the only one I found was a universal PCL 6, which is what I thought I was trying to download originally.
This set up worked successfully with the Windows 7 64 bit. It appears I need help from a lot more expertise than I have to walk me through this set up.

  • Windows 7 64 bits driver for HP LaserJet 1200

The drivers available on HP's web sites do not work on our Windows 7 64 bits computers.
Does someone know about a workable driver?
    This question was solved.

Good news. There is a solution.
HP Laserjet 1200 or 1300, and possiblly more Laserjet models have the same problem with Vista 64 bit and Windows 7 64 bit . My desktop is XP (32 bit) with a shared HP Laserjet 1200. I have no problem to share it with my other XP and Vista 32 bit laptops through wireless network at home. But I just purchased a new HP Windows 7 64bit laptop and I could not install the shared printer even through I used the downloaded HP universal printer drivers for Windows 64 bit. I searched the HP support forums and found this link was very helpful.
    http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1301542
Now my Windows 7 64 bit is working with the shared HP Laserjet 1200. Here is the solution from the link and I added some more details.
    1. Disconnect the printer from the desktop computer on the network. Then, connect the printer directly to the new Window 7 64 bit (or Vista 64 bit) laptop using the USB cable. The laptop loads the correct driver automatically.
    2. Print a test page. (This is an important step.)
    3. Disconnect the printer from the laptop and reconnect it back to the desktop.
    4. Open the list of printers of the new Windows 7 64 bit laptop, find the LaserJet printer. Right click and open "Printer properties" (not the "Properties" at the bottom of list).
    5. Find the "ports" tab. Change from the USB port (DOT4_xxx) to the network connection. If you do not know how to change it to network connection, click "Add Port", then click "Local Port". Typed in " \\your_desktop_pc_name\your_shared_printer_name " (This is just an example.). Click OK to save it.
    6. Print another test page.
Following the above steps, you will have a shared HP Laserjet 1200 PCL5 printer. To change it to PCL6 printer driver, you will need to use the downloaded HP Universal Drivers for Windows 64 bit. I will not discuss it here.
Thanks to the first person who came out this great idea.

  • Drivers for color laserjet 5m printer (windows XP)

My computer crashed and burned - had to reinstall Windows XP - can't find right drivers on HP website for my Color laserjet 5  (c30991)   Any suggestions on were to go?

The windows 8 driver for this printer should be available in late January. Please bookmark this site and visit it for up to date information. Also located on this site are links to documents for the network workaround and the in-os document.
Laserjet Printers supported in Windows 8
Install HP print software via a network in Windows 8
As a test, I did install this using the windows 7 drivers, it printed fine but I received a pop up giving me an error printing but it still printed. I then used the network work around to shut the bi-di off and the pop up went away, again it printed fine. I would suggest if you use the windows 7 drivers, that you upgrade to the windows 8 drivers when they are available.

    Hey,
I see you are wanting to install an HP Laserjet 1200 on your Windows 7 64bit PC.  I also see that the downloadable drivers are not working for you.  Have you tried installing the driver located in the Windows Add a Printer: Windows Update section?  For information on how to perform this type of install please read the article linked below.

Let me know if this method successfully installs the printer for you,

  • AEBS-GB: Successful workaround for HP Laserjet printer in Windows Vista

I have been struggling for weeks to get this high-priced 802.11n router to see my USB HP Laserjet 1300 and allow me to print wirelessly over my network. The HP Laserjet is only the most ubiquitous printer on the planet. But, with the help of another post, I worked it out.
Basically, AEBS either would recognize my Laserjet 1300, but print garbage error messages instead of test pages, or Bonjour simply would not recognize it as existing at all, even when it is unplugged and plugged in following Apple's instructions.
The solution? Install Airport and Bonjour, but don't use them further. For Vista, do the following:
    1. Go to Control Panel / Printers / Add a Printer.
    2. Select "Add a Local Printer."
    3. Select "Create a New Port" and "Standard TCP/IP Port."
    4. For "Hostname or IP Address" insert "10.0.0.1," leaving the device type on Autodetect.
    5. The next screen will say Vista cannot autodetect the printer, and ask you to select a Device. Choose "HP JetDirect."
    6. Select your make and model of printer
    7. Specify if you want to share it.
    8. Complete the process. My Test page now spits out without hesitation.
Apple --- _Get it together_! Is there any good reason why we should be able to set up a Laserjet through this convoluted process, but not through your supposedly easy-to-use Bonjour and Airport software? Can't think of one myself.
It's very possible this workaround could work for other printers too. Good luck.
    Jonathan

     @fshrago
For the laserjet 3390, you have the option of using the either the Universal Print Driver (network connection) or Windows Update Driver (USB connection)  in windows 8.1.  Neither of these drivers come with a fax or scan driver.
To use the fax and scan driver, you will need to use the Windwos Fax and Scan Software however you will need to be usb connected. I have given you links to documents that explain how to use both the Windwos Update driver and the Windows Fax and Scan Software.
Driver support included in Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 or in Windows Update - usb connection only
Use the software in Windows 8 to scan - usb connection only
Please understand that the UPD is a print only driver. If you would like a fax/scan driver you will need to connect via USB and use the Windows Fax and Scan driver along with the Windows Update/In-OS driver.
    Good Luck.

  • Looking for HP Laserjet driver for OSx.10.8.2

I need a printer driver for an HP Laserjet 1200 or HP Laserjet 1300. HP says it's Apple's responsibility and Apple says it's HP's responsibility.
    Any help appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,
The HP Laserjet 1200 do compatible with Mountain Lion:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c01664444 #N2471
Try removing any instalnce of the drivers and then check for Software Update:
Go to Computer > Macintosh-HD > Library > Printers and move the HP folder to the trash.
Browse into PPDs > Contents > Resources. search for 1200 within the folder. move the drivers to the trash and restart your Mac.
Next go to Print & Scan and reset the printing System:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c01371980
Finally try connecting the printer again and check for any difference.

  • Printer Drivers for HP LaserJet CP1515N using Windows 7 64 bit

I am repeating the message as it is shown as solve below and this is not correct.
I am trying to find drivers for the HP LaserJet  CP1515N that work for network printing. The HP site shows drivers are available but when you try to load them it shows a N/A message. The universal driver offered works for the printer via a usb cable but nor though a local network.

    Hi:
The HP support pages are not working which is part of the problem.
These ethernet and usb 3 drivers should work for you...

Wireless...I don't know what model WLAN card your model has, so please do the following steps so I can figure that out and I will then post the link to the driver you need...
Go to the device manager and there should be a device labeled Network Controller if the wireless driver is not installed.
Click on the Network Controller device and then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.
Now you should see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that list and select the second item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

  • Drivers/Help for HP LaserJet 1022 for Windows 7 (64 bit)

I have a LaserJet 1022 which doesn't work with recently upgraded Windows 7 (64 bit). I downloaded  the drivers from the site, but the printer properties in Windows says that it doesn't need drivers, yet it doesn't appear in my list of printers when I go to the print dialog.  When I run the plug & Play basic driver wizard, it stalls at the point where it asks user to connect the device.  Despite the device being connected (and displaying in Printers and Devices) the wizard just hangs at this point, and I have to cancel setup. Please help, I have to have a printer, and the reason why I chose this Laserjet is specifically because it is easy to install.

    Dionee,
I dont think replacing it is in order quite yet See if the document helps provide a resolution and if not post back with any new details and we can move onto the next step from there.
    Thanks!
