Drivers for network card Extreme 802.11 n

I´m running Mac OS X and windows vista on bootcamp.
Mac OS X is functional, ofcourse, but Vista doesn't recognise the network card.
I need Windows drivers for this.
Where can I find this?

I know you may have already tried this but have you already installed the boot camp drivers on vista? They can be found on the Leopard install disc. The drivers for all hardware should be on that.

  • Updating Drivers for video card?

I have a G5 Quad with an Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT video card (installed by Apple at the time of purchase). I wanted to see if there were any new/updated drivers for my card, but when I go to Nvidia's website the card is not listed, nor are any Mac drivers that I can see. I checked Apple's site, CNET Downloads, and Google, but I'm coming up with nothing.
How are the drivers for video cards updated? Are the drivers included in various OS updates? Am I just looking in the wrong places?
    Thanks.

Thanks, maclover. And thanks for the warm welcome
My problem is specific to a piece of software... I'm using Lightwave, and recently added FPrime to Lightwave's functionality. FPrime is a third party plugin, and is widely used in the Lightwave community.
The problem is that if I open FPrime before OpenGL renders the objects in a scene on screen FPrime crashes (hard)... it's like a kernel panic and my only option is to shut down and reboot. However, if I let OpenGL render the objects first then FPrime opens fine.
I'm an active member of the Lightwave community, and I've been in contact with the maker of FPrime regarding this issue. My question about drivers stems from the fact that usually if something like this occurs then it may be related to the need to update card drivers.
    Thanks agian.

  • Driver for Network Card

Hi:  I put a hard drive from a working R50 loaded with
XP and other software into my T42 and of course
XP notices there is a network card it doesn't have a
driver for; It's got the driver from the R50 it used to
live in. Which driver(s) do I need?   Thanks

Your T42 only has two network adapters, one for Ethernet, the Intel Pro 100/1000 you say is installed, and the second one is for your wireless, the Intel 2200bg with the latest driver here.
But you are much better off downloading the Thinkvantage System Update (TVSU) from here and then letting TVSU update all your drivers to the current level.
    T500: Vista 32, 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 15.4" 1680x1050, 500GB 7200rpm, ATI Radeon HD3650 + Intel 4500MHD. T42: XP, 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM, 14.1" 1024x768, 250GB PATA, ATI Radeon 7500.

  • [SOLVED] Need to manually toggle rc.d/network for network card to work

I installed (or actually re-installed) Arch yesterday and have an unusual problem. After boot, I don't have internet connection and I think that the network card isn't active either because i can't see light in my switch's panel.
I have managed to get the connection to work but the procedure is pretty strange.
There's a line "interface=eth1" in my /etc/rc.conf. I change it to "interface=eth0" and execute "/etc/rc.d/network restart". For some reason it prints "RTNETLINK answers: File exists" at this point.
Now there's no internet connection nor activity in switch's panel. I change "interface=eth1" back to /etc/rc.conf and execute "/etc/rc.d/network restart". Now i can connect to internet and there's a green light in switch's panel.
According to lspci my two network cards are named "NVidia Corporation nForce2 Ethernet Controller (rev a1)"(integrated into motherboard) and "Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 13)."
I already thought that maybe they are just loading in different orders at boot so I added their modules into rc.conf but it didn't do the trick. Googling about that RTNETLINK thing gave some results, but if understood them correctly, they are doing something similar what I have been doing.

I don't know if this card is Realtek based, but wiki's advice for Realtek cards worked. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … _WOL_issue

  • Curious about graphic card drivers for FLASHED cards-

Since Apple only provides video drivers as part of the OS, where do mutant, flashed cards get their driver support from?
I'm not having problems of any kind, the thought suddenly popped in my head, after many years of happily running flashed cards on a DB DP MDD G4 and a G5 Quad.
    Thanks in advance.

where do mutant, flashed cards get their driver support from?
    Those same drivers.
See, that's part of the "magic" of flashing; changing the codes within the ROM of the flashed card to make that card "look" like an Apple OEM. As long as the ROM coded ID is the same as an Apple OEM cousin, an ID that is included in OS X drivers, then OS X allows access to and full use of the drivers.
Knowing this, one can see why only cards that are very similar to Apple OEM, i.e. same GPU families, are the only ones that can be flashed.
You can't just change the ID of a card that has completely different architecture. There are voltages, VRAM timings, pipeline actualizations, scores of functions that are coded in the ROM but must have relevance to the architecture of the card in which the ROM resides.
OS X has drivers for many families of GPUs, but anything outside that will be unuseable, with no way to add driver support via download (like Windows).
I say "no way", but in some cases, actually hacking the drivers of OS X can allow some close 2nd and 3rd cousins to enjoy some driver support......
In your 7800 GTX cards case, there are drivers for both 7800 GT series and 4500FX series cards in OS X. The GTX has similarities to both, but usually derives support from the 4500FX drivers.

  • New Certified Drivers For Nvidia Cards

    Release Date: October 23, 2003
    WHQL Certified
New drivers certified at Nvidia site and it looks like they have a new card too 5950
I would like to see a review somewhere.
    Den

    Hello.
I had a same question and contacted Nvidia Japan technical team.
    Their reply is as follows.
Nvidia will not reliese their new original driver for K5000 ,because K5000 driver is set in OS Mavericks.
Its driver update will be reliesed in accordance with OS update.
In my field ,generally K5000 is fine with Mavericks .Troubels seem to depend on applications.
Only Final Cut Pro X(10.0.9) has a little bit troublesome with K5000. I hear FCP X(10.0.9) is not supporting
K5000 and I'm expecting to a new version of FCP X coming in next month.

  • Drivers for video card ( Windows )

Hi! I need to update my driver for Intel 965 Express Chipset Family on Windows 8, because some games does not run ( like GTA 4 ). Currently I have v8.15, but the newest is v10.*. I contacted Intel, but they have drivers only for PCs. What can I do?

I have only found this for this hardware > http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20775&lang=eng&OS Version=Windows%208%2C%2064-bit*&DownloadType=Drivers
That's the only driver that supports Windows 8

  • LabVIEW drivers for I2C card (PCI93LV) from Calibre

Hi, I have a PCI93LV card from Calibre (UK) that interfaces with I2C buss. I'm trying to control that card from LabVIEW, but I don't have any drivers. Can anyone please advise or suggest any solutions? My operating system is Win98. Thank you in advance.

I developed a set of VI's a couple of years ago to handle the interface with those boards.
I just called the functions that where available in the supplied dll.
Watch your calling convention and it should be straigth forward.
Sorry, I am not permitted to give away code (gotta feed the family).

  • Os 10.2.8 drivers for lucent waveLAN/ieee wireless card

I can't believe I'm the first to ask this but my search came up empty.
I have a Wallstreet P3, 233Mhz, with OS 10.2.8 installed; repartitioning the drive erased 9.2.2, for which I have no install disks. I just got a Lucent waveLAN card from eBay that the system sees, now I need drivers. Can someone provide me with a link to the drivers for this card.
Perhaps they're already installed and I'm not doing something right to connect to the internet (I think I remember with 9.2 I had to tell the system to use either wireless or ethernet). Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
    Bryan

Well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then...
After a few hours and several dead-end drivers I tried ejecting the waveLAN card and installing it in the lower slot on the powerbook...and it worked. Sigh.
BTW, the driver from sourceforge seems to work great on Jaguar.

  • HT5022 How do I change my "password" for using an Airport Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi base station?

My Kindle Fire asked for a password for my Airport Extreme 802.11 Wi-Fi. The password used on other devices using the Airport Extreme does not seem to work and Apple Support is not willing to help unless a service charge is made. How do I change my password or find out what the password is?

I am assuming that you are referring to the AirPort's wireless security password and not its base station Administrator's password ... correct?
If so, there are number of methods of resetting a password if you don't remember what it is. Please check out the following AirPort User Tip for additional details.

  • Need some Vista drivers for NB100 mini book

    When I installed vista on NB100 I can't find drivers for :
    Network wired card
    wireless
    webcam
    and display driver
    Where Can I find them?

    Hi,
I think you must search on external websites. Toshiba doesnt provide Vista drivers on this notebook because the system requirements of Vista are too high for a mini notebook and Windows XP or Ubuntu will run smoother as Vista.
Anyway, here are some examples where you can search:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
