Drivers forHP LaserJet M1120n Multifunction Printer

I'm unable to locate the download button for HP LaserJet M1120n Multifunction Printer at the HP Software and Driver page and hence not able to download the driver. Please help...thx

Hi,The software for your device is not available for download from HP, it is available via Apple Software Update. Print drivers can be installed by following these steps:http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04510394/ I afraid that scanning is no longer supported on any of the latest OS X version, however you may try the 3rd party Twain Sane project which seems to support the M1120 and may provide you scan capabilities on Yosemite:http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/ Regards,Shlomi

  • HP LaserJet M1120n Multifunction Printer, control panel display

    Hi,
Yesterday here was an electrisity cut. After that all devices worked normally, except the printer. Control panel display of the printer was out of function and control panel buttons  didn't work.
I turned  the printer off and waited some time. After that I tried to restart the printer. I heard that the printer started, but the display didn't work though, even I waited couple of hours . How could I solve this problem and can you help me?
    BR Vesa

    Hi @Vesa57 ,
I see that the display isn't working on the printer since you had a power outage. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Can you still print to the printer?
Make sure there is no damage on the power cord and that it is connected directly to a wall outlet.
The printer shouldn't be exposed to any electric or magnetic field.
Try another power cord, you can use a monitor power cord to test it. Just to rule that out.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 30-60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Try another wall outlet in another room, on another breaker. Just to make sure that isn't causing the issue.

HP laserjet M1319f multifunction printer---------Where do I find the right drivers for this printer, for some reason my computer keeps kicking it out and i have to keep re installing it. it is not recognized when i plug it in.
    windows 8-64 bit?

    Hi @LR2014 ,
I see that you are having issues with the drivers and you would like the proper ones installed. I would like to help.
The only drivers available from HP are the Hostbased Plug and Play Drivers. Did you download and install those drivers or are you using the Windows preinstalled drivers? HP LaserJet Hostbased Print/Scan Plug and Play Drivers.
If you are using the downloaded drivers, check the Devices and Printers window to see if the printer name is listed correctly and not showing the Windows Classic Driver.

Thank you for providing that information.
Are you signed is a the Administrator of that computer?
WIA drivers are part of Windows Operating System.
Run this Microsoft Fit It Tool to see if it will resolve this issue.

I have provided this document, just to make sure these are the same ones you had checked.
This document is to Check the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) services.

    Disregard the title.
Go to Solution three: Check the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) services.
Temporarily turn of the Antivirus Software and try scanning again.
If the issue persists, download and try to repair the WIA drivers. If you don't feel comfortable about doing these steps, you can contact the computer manufacturer or Microsoft to resolve this WIA error.
    Back up the registry first.

Restore Default Startup Type for Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).
Once the WIA is working properly agian on the computer, most likely you will have to uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

  • HP laserjet M1120n MFP printer not functioning properly with Lion

After installing this printer it will scan but with some flaws in the scanned image and it will not print at all.
All that it displays is that there is an error after attempting to print. I'm wondering if there is some special driver that I need?
The printer is about 4yrs old.
    Thank you

Your printer should be supported in Lion. Check to make sure you have the latest drivers installed. Make sure the driver for it is selected in the printer list.
You might try deleting the printer and reading it once the latest driver and software is installed.

    Hi,
The 8.5 x 11 paper size should appear as Letter or US Letter.
May you see such an option within the Paper Size option of the HP Scan software?
The drivers are identical and are not seperated for different regions.

  • HP Laserjet M1120 Multifunction CANNOT SCAN in OS 10.8.2

I am using a brand new macbook air and a HP laserjet M1120 multifunction printer. I upgraded to OS 10.8.2 out of the box, and the printer was very easy to install, but the scan functionality does not work at all.
Under no menu, program, sub-menu, does OS 10.8.2 recognize that the M1120 is not only a printer, but also a scanner.  Its as if M1120 went from being a multifunction to a monofunction laser printer.
The scan functionality works just fine with another mac computer running 10.7 so I know its an issue with 10.8.2 compability.
Been relentlessly looking for solutions on the internet (apparently i am not the only one having issues scanning with HP devices) and 10.8.2 but couldnt find a solution yet.
Anyone have any suggestions? - also the printer was bought from an Apple store just a few years ago so would be furious if I cant get it to work. Apart from this issue with 10.8.2, the printer works very well.
    Many thanks in advance.
