Drivers needed for xp pro x64

I have been searching through this area for some time and have found some of the drivers I need but not all.
Many that suggest they will work for my model, do not.  I guess because I have installed the x64 ver of xp pro.
The drivers I need are: Video, Modem.
I downloaded and installed what I thought were the correct audio drivers, but I still cannot get rid of
"No Audio Device" message or get any sound out of laptop.  I also have 2 other ! (yellow) in device manager:
Mass Storage Controller
SM Bus Controller.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oops forget to give model # M305-S4910
thx

On the Toshiba recovery image you will find a option to create a own divers and tools CD.
Enter the Toshiba Assist on the desktop and go to the protect and fix. There is this option for tools & driver CD creating
or you will donwload the drivers ;)

    Hello.
There are updated versions of the drivers you would need for those boards available on the web, but your LabVIEW version is very old and thus will not be compatible with those driver versions.
Hopefully you have the CDs with your older driver versions on them. Many drivers are available on the web at:
    http://www.ni.com/downloads/
You will need NI-Motion, NI-DAQ, and NI-FGEN for the 5411.

  • Space needed for AutoCAD, Pro/E in Bootcamp

I am entering college in the fall and am planning to go into mechanical engineering. This means I will need to run several engineering programs such as AutoCAD and Pro/E on my 13" MacBook Pro. How much space should I give windows 7 to be able to run these programs comfortably?

    Hi and welcome to Discussions,
40GB for Windows 7 alone is considered a good choice round here.
Add to that the amount of diskspace needed by the programs you want to install/use plus the space needed for your files.
I don't run Autocad or something similar so I am not familiar with the diskpace it and the user files need.

  • New Computer needed for Premiere Pro

I am not too tech-savvy when it comes to some computer specs, but over the years of using Adobe Premiere Pro, I have used many computers with this program, and while all of them met the system requirements, I have had problems in each instance.
I am currently using CS4 on a Dell Precision T3500, which has been pretty good so far, but now I am editing much larger projects that have extensive data and files, and now my system has slowed down to the point where I can no longer render my media without Adobe freezing up and crashing. For reference, the size of the .prproj file is 15M, and is using over 10G of media, and is freezing up on me.
A simple solution would be some sort of add-on to my system to make it work faster with preview files and can render & export quickly, but realistically I will need a better computer overall to accomplish this. Would a specific graphics card solve this problem?
If I were to start from scratch with a brand new computer from Dell.com, what would be the best OS, Processor, Memory (any noticable difference between 4G and 6G?), and anything else needed to allow Premiere Pro to function smoothly with large projects? I would like it to be cost-effective, but what's most importand is getting PPRO to work the way it is meant to for professional, high-end projects.
I don't need to dissect & learn the interworkings of my car in order to drive it. I wish the same could be said about Adobe Premiere Pro and the computer specs needed for it...
Thanks for your time and effort to help me out. Much appreciated!!
    -Rick

    Rick,
You may not need to know all the inner workings of your car to drive it, but buying a new (or used) car these days involves quite of bit of research just to understand all of the various option packages!
Let me start by completely agreeing with both wb_martin and Bill Gehrke comments, although neither is suggesting you buy a stock Dell! I know enough to build and support my own systems, but ADK indeed rocks for anyone who wants a cost effective turnkey system customized for their specific video (or audio) editing needs.
I also agree with Alex's comments and his "hybrid" recommendation regarding a Dell or HP workstation with a nVidia gamer's series GTX video card. You cannot however order those from Dell's or HP's web sites though since they normally only offer the Quadro nVidia cards on their workstation series offerings.
I will assume that you are editing DV and/or HD and not RED 4k or larger media.
Dell has systems in both their gamers line and workstation line that would work pretty well for large projects assuming you jump up to Adobe's CS5/5.5/6 software which supports use of both cpu and gpu (video card) processing to really speed up editing and renders:
    Workstation - Dell T3600
    Xeon E5-1650, 6-core, 3.2GHz (3.8 GHz turbo), Win7 Pro 64-bit, $1629 base price
    635 watt p/s $35
    32GB 1600 MHz ECC RAM $819
    Quadro 5000 2.5 GB $1309
    4TB RAID 0 $252
    Blu-ray burner $222
    TOTAL = $4266
    Gamer's Alienware Aurora
    i7-3930k factory oc'd to 4.1GHz, Win7 Pro 64-bit, $2119 base price
    32GB, 1600 MHz RAM $450
    GTX 680 2GB video card $450
    4TB RAID 0 $250
    Blu-ray burner $125
    TOTAL = $3394
The workstation option is a really solid system (like your T3500) and Dell's workstation support is pretty good.
The gamer's option is significantly less expensive and faster. I personally think that its also pretty UGLY!
IMHO Dell and HP provide very nice workstation base systems but then charge really inflated prices for memory, hard drives, optical drive upgrades, etc. So, that brings you back to a "hybrid" option if you would be up to it. That is, buy a base Dell (or HP) workstation and then add 3rd party RAM, graphics card, and hard drive(s). That will not void your warranty, but will not be a completely turnkey solution either.
BTW, HP makes a killer workstation pre-configured powerful enough to edit Red 4k. Unfortunately it costs almost $10k!
    Good luck with this adventure!
    Jim

  • Keyboard information needed for Sat Pro 6100

Hi, i have a Satellite Pro 6100 model number PS610E-03SKV-EN
I have damaged my keyboard and need to replace it and i was wondering if anybody knew what is the part number that i need for my laptop to replace my keyboard.
    Thank you

Thank you for the advice about the German Keyboard, I shall know to definitely avoid buying one in the future. I was interested in this item because it was a white keyboard in my part number and i would have liked a white or different colour keyboard. I didn't win the auction anyway so i am not going to be disappointed there.
My keyboard from America has arrived and i am disappointed by it slightly. I do wish that i never bought it now. Even though i got it very cheap the delivery cost me $40 dollars because i had to ship to a friend and then she shipped it out to me. What i am dissappointed by is the fact that this keyboard does not even have sign on it and neither does it have a euro sign either. I am not going to install it myself but i am also going to be on the look out for a UK keyboard now because i am not so happy with this one. I find it very odd that a symbol was not on this keyboard.
I have removed keys number 3 and 4 from my current keyboard and placed them on my new one but this has meant that things are going to be messed up and this means that i will be without a hash key now as well so i do think that a UK keyboard would be better for me.
There were other things different as well. The space bar is longer on this keyboard part that i bought and it only has three keys beside the space bar on my right hand side and it has not got a Alt Gr key but two Alt keys. I am thinking that there may have been something not quite right with the keyboard.
The parts number of this item that i purchased is -PS610U-03SR17 as listed on the auction and underneath the keyboard is part number-
    UE2027P22
I hope that this will be even compatible with my laptop and be able to handle the spec that my laptop has such as the hotkeys etc if i do decide to use it.
The one that i bought does look very similar to this one.

  • Vista x64 drivers needed for Satellite U200

    Hello,
has anyone installed Vista x64 on the satellite U200? I want to change now to 64 bit, will upgrade to 4 GB memory as well.
Has anyone experience with the drivers that work? For chipset, wireless and graphics there is no problem. For the fingerprint I have as well. But how is it with the Value Added Package? Is this compatible with x64 and the Flashcards as well? Someone tried to install??
    Thanks for answers!
    snipe

Hello again! I changed to Vista x64 now - and what shall I say!!! WOW! It is two times faster then the old x86! Cannot believe it!
And I got nearly everything working, except the toshiba value added package - so I do not have the flashcards and the wireless changer - but I can wait - hope they fix this. Everything else works:
    -fingerprint
    -graphicscard
    -wireless
    -lan
    -logitech mouse
-bluetooth (even switched to windows stack now for compatiblity reasons with logitech and nokia suite)
    -toshiba assist works
-touchpad works, with scroll and so on
yeah thats it so far - and I am happy - did not expect so much! Try it yourself!

  • 64-bit drivers needed for 7900

I just purchased and installed a MSI NX7900GTX-T2D512E video card.  This is my first experience with MSI.
I put in the installation CD and was told that my operating system isn't supported.  So, not only don't I have drivers but I don't get any of the bundled software either.
My operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Pro 64.
I've searched for drivers but haven't found any yet.  I don't see ANY on the MSI site for 64-bit.  Before I RMA this thing, can someone help me make it work?
    Additional info:
    ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard
AMD Athlon 64x2 CPU (dual core)
    (2) Kingston PC3200 1GB DIMM
WD-Raptor 10,000RPM 74GB HD connected as JBOD in SATA RAID controller as boot drive
I'm not finished building this thing and need to resolve this to either replace the video card wtih one that is compatible or make this one work so I can move on.
    Thanks in advance!

    Loader,
Just to add to what DOK said, you always want to get the latest nVidia nForce as well as ForceWare Drivers for your Mobo and Vid Card.
    Take Care,
    Richard
    Any pointers?
I have the new BIOS for the motherboard so it will work with the dual-core processor correctly.  I also have the new nVidia drivers.
The directions say to go to the new 665 drivers before updating the BIOS.  I can't figure out how to install those.
So I said the hell with it and tried to update the BIOS.  There is no BIOS update tool on the ASUS CD as it describes in the manual and the FlashBIOS tool that allows you to do it from Windows doesn't seem to be available either (I suspect it's because I'm running the 64-bit version.
    So, I'm stuck.
I'm not a rookie at this, but I's starting to feel like one!

  • Partition Redundancy for Win7 Pro x64 T400

My laptop came with 4 partitions: a 1.37 GB partition with no name and no file system listed on computer management, C: which is a 137 GB partition with NFTS file system, D: is 9.77 GB and same type as C: and a partition named SERVICEV003 using up 1.46 GB.  I have recently just upgraded from my Vista Home Basic x86 to Windows 7 Professional x64.  Do I still need these partitions since I`ve just upgraded my system?  When I saw these partitions in Vista, I assumed it was for Rescue and Recoery.  I can`t install Rescue and Recovery anymore on the new OS so I don`t use it.  Since I don`t use it (and if these partitions are used for R&R), can I just delete these partitions?

I deleted those partitions during the Win 7 Pro 64 install.  (Using retail Win 7 upgrade DVD)
FYI, though, you can install R&R 4.3 in Win 7.  I just did that.  Burned rescue CD + DVD+R DL full image of my HD with it.  Put in a different HD (fully zero'd out) and restored.  The restore was a little strange,  perhaps because the new HD didn't have any partition table (known issue with some other R&R versions) but worked the 2nd try.  Booted to a fully functional W7 pro 64 on the new HD.
Nice to have the backup media to do a restore without having to install vista first then Win 7 - which would be required if using the upgrade media for a recovery/restore IIUC.
I made the image after running the initial windows update and TVSU so it's a nice base restore image.  The full drive image fit on a single DVD DL + 2 CDs.
YMMV, but it worked well for me.

  • Vista Drivers Needed for PC CAM

Hello everyone,I need some assistance. I can't get my PC CAM 550 working with VISTA 32 Bit'scould someone please assist. I need drivers for PC CAM 550. Thank you?

Toshiba does not support anything but windows XP pro and Vista 32bit OS's. There are some severe problems with this model of laptop (the P100) in regards to drivers (even under the supported vista 32bit. They fixed the graphics stuttering problem with the 4.2 bios release).
You can try a driver from laptopdrivers2go or from some other site. As long as they state they support Nvidia Geforce GO 7900GS and not just Nvidia Geforce 7900GS they should work ok. Just keep an eye on your GPU temperature. If it gets too hot under your ESC key where the card is or you cannot feel any good airflow from the vents on that side try a different driver. And you don't need to worry that much about melting your card as your computer will turn off from overheating first. Just be careful and if that happens uninstall the drivers immediately and try a new set.
Other than that you would have to get a new laptop.
    Hope it works for you.

    Hi:
HP only provides support and drivers for their consumer PC's for the current Windows operating system in effect at the time of production, which is W8 at this time.
Customers wanting support for other windows operating systems need to purchase a business PC.
The good news for you is that we can find W7 x64 drivers from other models with the same hardware that should also work on yours.
I'm thnking all of the W7 x64 drivers from this similar model will also work on yours.

    Hi:
First install the amd chipset drivers and reboot.  You want the first file listed on the webpage.
That will install the smbus and usb 3 controllers.
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%207%20-%2032
Next install the graphics driver and reboot.
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2032#amd-catalyst-packages
Next, install the audio driver and reboot.  Accept the agreement.  Download and install the first driver on the list.

I would need you to post the hardware ID's for the rest of the devices (unknown & PCI Simple Comms) in order to try and find drivers for them.
To find a hardware ID for a device, please do the following...
Go to the device manager, find the Other Devices category, and click on the Device needing drivers.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the device window.
Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.
