Driving me Crazy?!!!! Please Help?!

Hi guys,
I needed to create a website and decided to teach myself
FLASH. My knowledge of FLASH is somewhat limit and although my code
is probably ugly, I have been pragmatic and was extremely happy
when "I thought" I had finished my site.
When in flash, I perform a HTML publish preview and my site's
functionality is exactly how I intended.
But when I upload my files to my web host server, my website
mysteriously behaves differently....wrong!
Specifically, it is with regard to my video. My site is to be
used as my band's website: The Matchbox Twenty Show. I have various
buttons that when pressed show a BIO, BOOKING details, BAND
MEMBERS, GIG dates and a SLIDESHOW. I also have a button that shows
LIVE video from one of our concerts. I have placed "stop();" at the
beginning of the respective timeline labels to prevent loading when
the page opens. When I preview my site in FLASH, hitting the
LIVESHOW button starts the video and when I hit the button again it
restarts the video ( "seek(0); play();" ) just as I want it to.
The video also stops when I hit one of the other buttons.
But when I promote the files online. The video starts to play
when I hit a button other than the LIVESHOW button. It still
displays the details of the button e.g the BIO text, BUT the video
audio plays in the background. It gets triggered by any of the
buttons AND when I actually hit the LIVE video button, instead of
resetting the video, it doubles up and triples up etc. i.e
everytime I hit a button, there is a new layered occurrence of the
video's audio track. The video component does however reset each
time I click the VIDEO button, but the audio keeps layering.
HELP?!!!! :D I apologise if this is not clear and hope
someone out there has either experienced a similar problem and / or
is able to offer a solution.
I thought it might be server settings? compatibility issues
with browsers or HTML parms? But I am fast becoming deflated with
having mysite sitting on my computer and not the server.

Hi,
Sine the site is working fine on your local machine, i think
it should do the same on the server. However, most problem that
occur only on the server is because wrong paths or missed
files...etc. it is strange that the buttons acts differently. First
try to make sure that you sue the right HTMl from the publishing
feature and upload every thing in location and see.

MacBook Wireless -- Driving me crazy -- Please help!!

I have a MacBook Core 2 Duo with 2 GB RAM.
Lately (past month) I have been having some problems with my wireless connection (which occurs no matter what wireless network I am using). When I turn on the computer the wireless download speed is fine. Then, after I have been using my MacBook for a while, the speed begins to fluctuate. If I am downloading a file, the progress bar moves along at a normal rate for a little bit and then stops and then it continues to move along again at a normal rate and then stops and this continues until the file eventually finishes downloading. This occurs no matter what application I am using (i.e. Safari, Firefox, Download a file from my iMac over the wireless network, iChat, etc.). The progress stops about every 2 seconds.
The only way to “fix” the problem is to either shutdown and restart or to just restart. Then things work fine again for some time. It doesn’t seem to happen when I am doing any particular thing or using particular software.
I contacted Apple Support and they had me make some changes to the network and wireless settings (i.e. create a preferred network for my wireless connection, delete some network wireless Library files, repair permissions) and then when I rebooted the machine, it was, of course, working fine while I was on the phone. However, later in the day the problem reappeared.
I was using Tiger and upgraded to Leopard on the weekend hoping that it would magically fix my wireless problems but it hasn’t. I have installed all of the updates as well.
I am hoping that this sounds familiar to someone and there might be a fix for it. I have been looking online for an answer for quite some time. Rebooting my MacBook all the time is driving me absolutely crazy!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm curious... Will there actually be 10.4.11 now that Leopard 10.5 has been released? I am hoping there will be a 10.411, of course. I got my Macbook the last week of May 2007, installed the 10.4.10 update the day I got the machine, and had problems since.
I called Applecare as soon as I was sure it was my Macbook being flaky, not me doing something wrong. That was the fisrt week of June 2007, and Applecare acted like they never heard of anybody having WiFi disconnect problems on a Macbook. The best suggestion from Applecare was to go back to 10.4.9 - not something that appeals to me, as I'd lose the other fixes in 10.4.10.
The results for Leopard 10.5 are mixed. One thread says it doesn't help, but the users in another thread say it fixes the problem. Either way, I'm not too excited about paying US $129 to upgrade the operating system to fix a machine only a few months old.

IMovie unexpectedly quits - Driving me crazy, please help???

I am in desperate need of help.
I am currently trying to both Publish and or Export a project using iMovie 09. The project runs for 2 and half hours and contains various home movies I have recorded over the year. The actual footage has been recorded on both my Sony AVCHD camera and also my iphone 4 (both of which I have been able to publish projects with previously). The project is nothing fancy, it contains the usual Titles, Transitions and chapters. Every time I attempt to either publish or export the project I receive an error message advising “iMovie has unexpectedly quit“. I have tried to publish in all sizes (Tiny, Mobile, Medium, Large & HD) all with no success and have also tried exporting using imovie and quicktime numerous times with varying settings. All combinations continue to result in the same error message. On a side note I have created a smaller “Test Project” of which only runs for one minute, this again uses footage from both cameras and features the same Titles, Transitions and chapters. This file both publishes and exports without problem.
As the smaller/shorter file/clip works I have to assume the problem relates to the size of my project, this then strikes me as being odd as I have other projects running upto 2hrs 53Min of which have been published in HD previously. I am using a 2.8 Ghz intel core 2 Duo processor with 4 GB Ram.

No - but may be You find some ideas here.
*Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows.*
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
• Delete iMovie pref file
iMovie pref file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences
and is named. (one or more of these)
com.apple.iMovie.plist
com.apple.iMovie3.plist
com.apple.iMovie7.plist
com.apple.iMovie8.plist
and find
com.apple.iApps.plist
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this/these file/s out on to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
• Hard disk is untidy. Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple’s Disk Utilities application)
• Garageband-fix. Start it, Play a note and Close it. Re-try (Corrects an audio problem that hinders iMovie)
• Screen must be set to Million-colors
• Turn off Mac and disconnect Mains/Power for 20-30 minutes - will at least re-set FW-port
• Third party plug-ins that doesn't work OK (not relevant for iMovie’08 or 09)
• Problems in iPhoto Library can affect iMovie to crash on start-up. Re-build this first then try to re-start iMovie.
This You do by
_ close iPhoto
_ on start up of iPhoto - Keep {cmd and alt-keys down}
_ now select all five options presented
_ WAIT a long long time
• iMovie updated ?
• QuickTime updated ?
• Mac OS version ?
• Program miss-match. iMovie 4 - will not work under Leopard
• Program miss-match. iMovie 5.0.2, up to Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK
• Program miss-match. iMovie 6.0.3 or 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (will work under Leopard and Snow-Leopard)

From LKN 1935. (in this case = iMovie HD (5), I tried it all, but nothing worked.
Your answer (above) has been helpfull insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that
there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled
iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos)
to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before.

My ipod is driving me crazy please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically,
The other night i reset my ipod.
And a thing came up on my screen and it said, "Connect to your computer. Use Itunes to restore"
So, I do and everything works out, it retores etcetc.
The only problem is, when it is done its restore, the
notice that says, "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode" comes back up, and it happens after each restore.
Even changing the drivers name is not working b cause i cant simply.
My computer do see the driver but it's in one box alone.
I can't format normally using windows either.
I've got the latest i'tunes and i'ts same all same.
What do i do?!

MiniSAP driving me crazy - please help!

I have installed the SAP Netweaver 2004s ABAP Trial Version (up to SP8) aka MiniSAP. After a lot of hours and searching on the web I finally managed to get the system license into the system and delete the temporary license.
I now want to create the table MYTABLE from the example of the object navigator example.
But every time I press "Create" in transaction SE11 I need to enter an access key and get the message "Invalid access key".
I have
- logged in with user BCUSER
- used the key mentioned on CD (29671482393151224771)
- checked the table DEVACCESS - there is one record with the same key
- know that tables with Z or Y are working - but the examples are not
that way designed
I am
- out of ideas!
- in desperate need of help !

App store driving me crazy, please help

I have bought a second hand macbook pro. If i open mac store and connect it with my apple id macstore says that there are updates available from the previous owner with his apple id. I tried to disconnect it and i can log in with my apple id but can't carry out the updates because they are installed with the apple id from the previous owner. How do i delete his account and use my own account and still carry out these updates. I can't even turn my mac off.

E: drive full and trying to back up! driving me craaaazy please help

hey! my laptop is like 5 days old! i put all my old photos and music from itunes onto disks from my old laptop and put them onto this one. everything was fine until sunday! the laptop started a back up! i got a messege saying that the disk E: drive was full and to delete files ect... or i could change the settings! i tryed to change the back up to do this onto disk. but iv been told there should be a place to do this on the laptop and the the wall partions may not be set rite. i also keep getting a warning that my E: drive is full and to make space! i have phoned hp support and they say talk to the place i got the laptop from and so i did they said i could sent it back but that means removing everything! i have googled and seen loads of people with this prob so is there a way to fix this? someone please help its drivng me crazy! i have a hp pavilion g6 series. thaaaaaaaanks x

You need to re-run the backup program to unselect the E drive.
As a sidebar, it is actually unwise to backup to the same physical hard drive. You need to realize that you have a single hard drive , that is partitioned in hard disc C,D,E. If that physical hard drive were to crash, cease to function. burn-out, etc, you lose all of it. It is not separate drives.

This Blckberry Id is starting to drive me crazy.i got me a new bb curve 9300 3g last month and i created my Bbid to download app but after a few days i forgot the password,so i tried to renew my password couldnt do it.
I created another account for the BB id so i could also use the blackberry protection app.Now it worked normally but the problem is i have a new id for the bbprotection app and cannot use it on my bb world app and they keep telling me that this account is not associated with my smarphone and i cannot find a way to change the old infos about the 1st bbid.
What can i do,i'm going crazy here,help anyoneeeee!!

OK...the way to destroy the first ID is to use the original "welcome" email you received when you first created it...that should have a link with which to destroy the ID. If not or if you don't have that email, then we just ignore that BB ID and leave it alone.
So, now ignoring the first ID, what are the exact and specific issues with the second ID. Sorry, I tried to parse out the specifics from your first post, but has too little punctuation and structure for me to figure out what is going on there, so I ask you to list the issues out in an orderly and complete fashion now.

UNKNOWN SYMBOL DRIVING ME MAD, PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a symbol that has come up on my screen. It's a white box with a black dot inside and a red dot like the 'notification star' on it. It's in the same area as where you get your bbm, facebook, email, etc. notifications. I've tried going through all my apps and nothing is helping. It's driving me mad. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

My display has gone crazy, please help!!!

Well folks, you can count me in as another victim of the "checkered/blocked" display problem. It suddenly came up just a few hours ago and I,m going crazy. Have been reading some of the posts and Apple should definitely look further on this issue since it's affecting a considerable number of users. I,m not clear if my system is covered under Apple's Extension Program. My S/N begins with W8526xxxxxxx, please help us Apple.

Basically your screen looks like an old-fashioned TV test card with blocks all over it? That happened to my imac G5 when I had only had it a short while back in 2005. I had just switched to mac and was devastated. When I rang Apple they said it was the logic board which is the most expensive part to replace apparently. I had it fixed under Applecare. I would find out if you can get it fixed under the Apple program as now it is a known fault with these models.Here is a link to the page Apple have set up about the extended repair program, it does look like your model could be one of the affected ones:

Hi, I would try to use the calendar to fallback on a system restore's point if you can, something hooked's up on your explorer.exe. Could be a malware too, depend what you do on your Windows 7.

Order of tunes in library when importing is driving me nuts please help me!

Can somebody PLEASE help me....when I import albums into the library/ playlists it stores all the first tracks, then all the 2nd tracks, then all the 3rd tracks, and so on....like 1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2 3 3 3 3 and so on, down the list, and plays them in that order too. Extemeley annoying...can anyone help me rectify this problem?

Compressor is making me crazy, please help

I know this question is all over the forums but nothing seems to help me. I have FCP 5.0, Qmaster 2.0.1, Compressor 2.0.1, QT 7.1.3. I reinstalled the whole FCP suite with no good results, trash prefs., then I updated Qmaster and Compressor to 2.0.1, verify permissions and still nothing. I am running mac os x version 10.4.8 on a power pc.
please, please, please, please help me.

I am guessing it had to do with the install of DVD SP and/or Compressor and QMaster. Have you trashed prefs for all of these apps?
In the user menu library (as opposed to the root menu library) did you trash the files in the FInal CUt Pro User Data folder? Not the folders, just the prefs and the cache files. Up higher in the same library are the plist files for FCP, DVD Studio Pro and COmpressor under com.apple.(name of app).plist.
Now here is the issue I am having. I installed the whole studio at one time, so I have no conflicting prefs or program files. I am not sure, and maybe someone more knowledgable will check this post, but maybe you have some conflicting preference files since you installed the rest of the studio after. (If I am correct, you had FCP for a while, and then later upgraded to the Studio?)
If that is not the situation then I am stumped and you might have to do a full install. (Not uncommon at all) but you should try to do FCP rescue if you haven't already. It's a free app, I believe.

This would return a:
ProductDescription
Quantity
Cost
and Total Cost.
These were originally all in a single table but now ProductDescription is in productinfo, Cost is in productinfo, Quantity is in Lineitem, and TotalCost is in orderhistory.
Can anyone figure out the statement i must use to get the correct result set???? Please, I have tried everything and have hit a brick wall everytime.

Sorry to bother you again but this is driving me insane and I really need to get this sorted. Here is the problem.
I have three table in my database as follows:
LineItem Table consists of 3 fields:
LineItemId, OrderID and Quantity.
OrderHistory table has 3 fields:
OrderID, CustomerID and Total
ProductInfo table has 4 fields:
ProductID, ProductDescription, Cost & ProductLocation.
OrderID is the primary key:
What I want to do is extract the OrderId, ProductDescription, Quantity, ProductCost & Total where CustomerID = '.....'
I am having major problems with linking my tables and receiving duplicate results.
At the Java side of things, i would select a customerID, and the above order details would be returned. Here is the code i am using:

KEYBOARD WEIRDNESS DRIVING ME INSANE PLEASE HELP

I bought my Macbook Pro about three months ago, and I am absolutely anal about taking care of it.
Recently, my spacebar and my caps lock keys have began sporadically not working. I'll be typing and then all of a sudden the spacebar will just fail (So I'll be typing and it will be like "Oh hey do youwantto go out tothe place later?"). And then over a period of about two minutes it will gradually work less and less frequently until it stops working completely. When the spacebar goes into this mode, the caps lock button does too. They don't seem to do it independently, but at the same time, no other keys are affected.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to this malfunction. The only pattern that I noticed is that it usually happens when I'm typing in World of Warcraft (yeah I know im a loser don't rub it in). However, it's not always the case. It has happened several times when the program isn't open and has not been opened since the computer has been turned on.
Also, once it does happen, there doesn't seem to be any way to make it start working again. It always comes back eventually, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do, I just have to wait it out. I've tried restarting the laptop, shutting it down completely and letting it sit for awhile, taking out the batteries, trying to blow anything out that might be under the keys themselves (even though I doubt there's anything there because I take such good care of it), tapping the button repeatedly, etc. Nothing seems to work. And since I can't find any patterns, I really can't tell if this is a hardware problem or software problem.
Someone help me PLEASE I'm going out of my mind. I can't get an appointment at the apple store for several days but I need my computer for work this week and and waiting that long is really not an option. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Tuffcookie1877, welcome to Apple Discussions!
It almost definitely sounds like a hardware problem to me, I'm sorry to say. You'll likely have to have the keyboard replaced under warranty. I can't think of any software problems that would cause a sporadic spacebar malfunction.
