DRM EBS Issue.

While running the concurrent program(Load segment values and Hierarchies) in EBS we are getting the below error.
Please help in this regard.

DRM login issue

Hi Experts,
I installed Hyperion DRM 11.1.2.1 in Windows 2008 server.
Created the DRM Schema and the objects using the generated scripts.
I have entered the repository admin ID(DRM_DB in my case) and password and saved the configuration.
Test connection is successful.
I can start and stop the application.
I can also open the URL: http://localhost/drm-web-client/Logon.aspx.
But when I am entering the admin ID and password, it is saying DRM-61025:unable to create user session. Reason: Login failed. Invalid username or password.
Please help if you have faced this problem. Let me know if you need more information.

DRM Streaming Issue

Flash won't stream DRM content EXCEPT in IE 9.0.8; deleting the contents of NativeCache didn't work.
The browser's that won't work:
Firefox 18.0.1
Chrome: 24.0.1312.57m
Safari 5.1.1
Opera 12.12
Maxthon 3.4.5.2000
But Internet Explorer does...
I also had an issue with MS Silverlight that started at the same time, but was able to resolve that. I've tried:
Uninstalling -> Reinstalling
Uninstalling -> Rebooting -> Reinstalling
Uninstalling -> Shut down -> Boot -> Reinstalling
Uninstalling -> Shut down -> Boot -> Reboot -> Reinstalling
And I have ths same issue. The above also includes deleting the NativeCache folder contents located:
C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player\NativeCache
I can stream non copyrighted content just fine (like youtube).
Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a "Delete All Audio and Video License Files" Flash Player control panel in Windows? This might be the same as removing the NativeCache folder contents, but I'm not an expert on DRM so I can't say for sure. Have you also tried reverting to a previous version of the Player to see if the problem persists?

EBS issue with special character "-"

Hi Friends,
I am using “001-Standard Algorithm” to find the document numbers in payment notes of EBS file to clear the customer open items. And no issues in clearing the numeric document numbers.
Client has a document number range (ABC00-0000 to ABC99-9999) which is not getting cleared with any of the algorithms. Seems like system could not find with “-“ in the middle of the document. I tried testing with following options but nothing worked out.
Used search string to find the document. (Examples - ABC##-#### ABC##?#### ABC## ####).
I tried using reference field (XBLNR) with same document number by changing the configs and EBS test file but seems like it could not clear because of “–“.
Please let me know your inputs if you faced any similar issue.

Im using OIM 10g. Can anyone please tell me how can we know that who has updated the ebs table per_people_f. in that one column is there last_updated_by. what is that value representing? The numeric value in that is not returning any matching person id and employee number

environment.. tnsnames.ora all set according to the
standard.. tnsping command to the service works fine.
it connects..when am trying to connect thru either

DRM Login Issues

Hello Gurus,
I am trying to work with a DRM application that has already been installed. When I try to login to the DRM client I receive the following error message: 'A literal string was expected but no opening quote character was found. Line: 20 <span> <H1> Server Error in '/ ' I have been told that the login credentials are correct. From the DRM Console I am able to connect to the database and the MDM server appears to be running.
Has anyone seen this before? Can anyone please provide some insights and possibly a solution?

In a single browser session ( Ex: IE ) you cannot do this, what you can do is login to Application1 and instead of logging into Application2 in a new tab, Open a new IE browser session and login to Application2,

DRM EBS GL Integration

Hello Gurus,
I am trying to find the OracleGL_DRM_AppTemplate.xml. It should have been installed during the R12 EBs GL upgrade and was not. Anyone know where else I can find the OracleGL_DRM_AppTemplate.xml file if it wasn't installed as part of R12 GL?

When running the repository wizard, we get the following message during the schema copy process: RM_USER -Table does not have a primary key.
Once that message displays the process halts. We checked the RM_USER table and it does have a primary key.

No video output from MacBook Air micro DVI to Polaroid HDTV via DVI to HDMI

Grrr! What's going on? The Apple online store finally sent me a micro DVI to DVI adapter and a DVI to HDMI adapter cable as well as headphone output to RCA adapter cables (for separate audio, since DVI will not transmit audio) and I hooked it up and - NOTHING! When I initialize the appropriate input setting on the Polaroid 27"HDTV the MacBook Air seems to get some sort of query signal as its screen flickers for a moment and turns to a grey screen for a couple seconds but then, that's it! Nothing! The Polaroid's screensaver remains and no signal, audio or video, is transmitted. Now, the micro DVI to DVI adapter is Apple proprietary so I don't think it is a DRM related issue where the chip might block the video signal coming out of the MacBook Air. The longer, DVI to HDMI adapter cable is by Belkin. Am I overlooking something? Could the new 27" Polaroid HDTV not be compatible with DRM protocol? I don't think so since all digital TVs equipped with an HDMI input are supposed to have DRM compatibility built in. What gives?

Well, BSteely, where to begin? After my extensive discussions with more than one support engineer at Apple in Toronto as well as in Austin an interesting picture is emerging. Seems that I'd omitted a few things: First, I was not trying to display HD content but rather standard definition content. Second, I made the mistake hoping for an elegant and easy solution in hookup via HDMI (new flatscreens don't even have a DVI port anymore) - bad mistake! As one of the technicians put it, HDMI is an "unsettled" platform when it comes to HDCP, currently in version 1.4 , meaning, I should have tried VGA instead, a "settled" platform after all. Now, whether this will work remains to be seen because I don't have a micro DVI to VGA adapter yet but suffice to say that in essence I've been getting the message from Apple that, yes, the MacBook Air will - in the near future - support HDCP, but for now it does not contain the necessary software simply because HDMI is in its forth incarnation; plus, as they put it, Apple can't be responsible for testing compatibility with every single HD television set on the market - while it is true that there are thousands in existence, at the same time there are only four versions of HDMI with different HDCP specs! So, while I may be partially answering my own query here, it seems that Apple at this point is not particularly eager to make this software available because they rather would like to sell their new displays with the micro DVI ports instead of us endusers being able to hook the computer video signal up to just ANY monitor or TV. In the end, it is my hope that they will reconsider and not forget who their customers are, maybe after the Christmas season....

Home sharing working fine - but not for paid itunes content on some devices

My setup is a simple apple home sharing network.
I have a mac mini running OS X 10.6.8 and itunes 11.0.3(42) it hosts a lot of music, DVD's that have been re-encoded and paid for content from itunes.
The mac mini is conntected to the network over a very good gigbit lan and has 4 apple TV3 (latest gen) hanging off the network, and multiple PC/Mac/ipod/ipad devices hanging off the network.
All these devices connect using home sharing and work very well (I can use all 4 apple TV devices at once streaming 1080p media with no lag / delay problems)
There is one exception to this, my PC and Mac.
I have a Macbook pro running OX 10.6.8 and itunes 11.0.3(42) and a PC running Windows 7 64bit with Itunes 11.0.3(42). Both are also connected via gigabit lan, both run of SSD's so have excellent local disk performance, both have over 6 GB of ram at least.
If I open itunes and connect to the itunes home media server and play music, tv shows films all is well, ranging anything from a DVD rip to a HD bluray rip. as soon as I try to play a HD movie or TV show downloaded from itunes there is a problem. I get approx 30 seconds into the content and then it just stops as if I'd hit pause and never actually starts playing.
At first I thought this was buffering problems/flooding on my lan, so I isolated this, even though my network monitor shows lots of capacity on the lan, I removed all devices apart from the mac mini serving the home media and either the PC or the Mac, I hit the same problem.
To diagnose this further I opened a network monitor application on the PC, the playback mac and the media server mac mini and tried to open a file in itunes.
on the client and the server the network spikes straight away, and uses 100 network for around 5 seconds (if I do this with other devices such as apple TV's plugged into the network too the overall usage is lower, it basically uses as much as is availble, so %100 utilization isn't a problem) and then the network traffic just stops on both devices. The same is true of the disk activity, I see a raise is disk I/O on the home media mac mini for 4 - 5 seconds and then a lesser spike on the local playback machine both stop after 4 - 5 seconds in sync with the network stopping.
Both machines remain on the network fine, but the transmission of the media between itunes server and client just stops. I then open another file, a bluray rip, some music etc, and it plays works fine, return back to the paid for itunes content, it fails at exactly the same spot.
This happens on any itunes paid for HD movie or TV shows, so it's not just one file, it's approx any of the 200 itunes downloaded HD files I have on this machine.
I can play the files fine with apple TV's, I've tried watching 4 different apple downloaded itunes HD films at once on 4 apple TV's it works fine, it's only if I open the file via itunes with the PC or Mac.
All are linked with the same home sharing account so it's not / shouldn't be a DRM style issue.
Why is this happening on the more powerful PC/Mac computers, but not on the lesser apple TV, ipad, iphone devices ?

ITunes videos won't play after 10.8 upgrade--checkerboard pattern

On my Mac Mini (mid-2009) connected to an LG TV, after upgrading to Mountain Lion, all purchased videos on iTunes play audio but display a gray/white checkerboard pattern instead of a video. The same happens when I try to play the videos in Quicktime.
Someone else posted a similar problem here -- https://discussions.apple.com/message/19104312#19104312 -- but my problem doesn't seem to be the same (a conflict with Edovia's TouchPad app). I do, however, connect to this Mac Mini through Screen Sharing, and perhaps there's a VNC conflict going on. Just to be sure, I turned off another Edovia app, "Screens," on my iPad, but the issue remained.
iTunes will happily play non-iTunes-store videos. Also, I'm able to stream the iTunes Store videos from the Mac Mini to my MacBooks (running Mountain Lion and Lion) and iPad without any problems.
Thinking it was a DRM-related issue, I disassociated all devices and computers from my iTunes Store account and then reconnected them. No joy. I repaired disk permissions. No luck. Lots of restarting.
Has anybody else run into this? Possible solutions? It's driving me batty.

I am having this exact problem, however, it's only video content I download from iTunes. Anything that I've imported into iTunes, from alternate sources, will play just fine.
This seems to be a Quicktime problem as I have found that when you attempt to play iTunes files in Quicktime player, the same grey and white checkerboard pattern appears.
I am using my MacBook and MacMini in the exact same way. I am hoping there is an update to fix this probelm ASAP. This was my media center.

Recent problem presenting movies on projector for class

I teach in a University. I want to show a film that I purchased in iTunes from my iPad 2 to through the VGA adapter to the projector in the class (this is only option - projectors are all VGA). Movie begins to play and then stops with an error message stating that the display is not supported and I do not have permission to display this video in this format. Some other issues:
1. I've been able to show films like this in the past - when did this change.
2. Netflix also does not work.
3. YouTube, PowerPoint, Keynote all work fine
Is there a solution to this? I do not have the luxury of upgrading the SmartPanel systems in the classrooms where I teach. I prefer to use digital content, but will I need to return to the use of actual DVDs to ensure the content works?
Also - would there be a difference if I used my Macbook Pro (2012) that has not been updated to Yosemite? What about an older version of iTunes?
Can I get a refund for the films I purchased through iTunes if they are no longer supporting this method of presenting this material? These films are useless to me unless I can show them on a screen in class.
I have class this Monday and need to figure something out quickly. Thank you for your time.

You saying this about your ipad with 8.x and a cable? I think that ios 8.x will no longer will play copyright stuff over vga cables. You need a hdmi cable.
I read about some copyright issues in 8.x. ios 8.x "enhanced" copyright protection . I think the feeling is that you can ripe off vga output to make a copy of the video. What better copyright protection than to sell you a video then not let you see it . Also, there is a standard disclaimer on many videos that it only for private usage. Commercial usage is forbidden. There is an exception for educational use.
