DRM export/book run history

Hi,
Is it possible to know when a Export/ Book is run.........we are trying to findout when a particular Book export is run?

Have you tried Auditing the Transactions?, Filter the Actions to 'Export Run' and specific date range you are looking, the same you can obtain by querying rm_transaction_history table by filtering c_action to 'Export Run'.

Calling stored procedure from DRM export

Hi All,
I am new to drm .I have a question.Is it possible to run stored procedure automatically when drm export ran.
I Have a DRM HUb where i am actually downloading all the tables.I have a requirement to run stored procedure when drm exports ran.

DRM Export creation issue

Hi all, I'm facing issue with POC at the customer site.
I cannot create any type of export.
DRM 11.1.2.1.000 has been installed on Win 2008 server 64 bit machine - polish locale.
I applied straight away after installtion 105 patch. Repositor has been created. We needed later to change server locale to english US.
I imported customer's hierarchies fine and when I tried to create any type of export I'm getting following message:
There was an error proressing your request
The server returned an error: The added or subtracted value results in an un-representable DateTime. Parameter name: value
I tried to google the issue - not successful - only one thread on OTN but not with resolution.
I applied 106 patchset and still getting the same issue.
Other things work slick in DRM in range I needed so far.
Could you please forward to somebody that faced that issue if you're not familiar with

We encountered the same problem running DRM exports in Ireland.
Subsequently discovered the following SR opened by Oracle :
SR: 3-5740964101 opened for the issue are having with running exports from DRM.
Problem Description: Trying to run or save an export in DRM gives the following error message:
+"The added or subtracted value results in an unrepresentable DateTime. Paramater name: value"+
This error only occurs for non-US (in Ireland) where the DRM instance is hosted in the US; this error does not occur for US based users.
We resolved this by installing patch Hyperion Data Relationship Management 11.1.2.1.107 Patch Set Update

Export Book as ePub - an order option greyed out

Hello All... so after doing some fruitless searching online and in this forum, I must ask about this problem I've run into.
I am having the same problem within ID 5.5 on Windows and ID 6 on both Mac and Windows.
What I want to do is "Export Book to EPUB..." while also using the Articles Panel ordering I've set up in the documents. I am trying to do this with several different Books, and getting the same problem when in the Export Options.
I would like to select "Same as Articles Panel" as the option for "Content Order", but it is greyed out. What is even more frustrating is that *one time* the option was selectable, and the export worked as expected. I have no idea whatsoever why InDesign allowed me that one time to select the "Same as Articles Panel" option, yet every other time I try, it is greyed out and I cannot choose that option.
Would love to hear from some experts on this one. Thanks in advance for anyone's time and effort.

I have figured out what exactly is happening. You kinda sorta steered me into the right direction. I already had everything I wanted exported as an Article, and yes with the box checked. But then I noticed something... the cover page for each book is its own document, and was also set as the Master Style Source. That was the whole key to whether or not "Same as Articles Panel" option is greyed out or selectable. If there are no Articles defined in the document which is set as Master Style Source, greyed out option. If there is an Article in that document but it isn't checked, greyed out option.
Very counter-intuitive, and I haven't seen that fact mentioned in ANYTHING I have read about Exporting, in either the internet-at-large or in Adobe's own InDesign Help.
I sincerely hope that Adobe puts this very important piece of info into their documentation.

InDesign CS4 crashes during "Export Book for Digital Editions"

InDesign CS4 crashes each time I select "Export Book for Digital Editions." I tried deleting my preferences and then creating books that contain only two very simple INDD documents, but I still get this error:

I can export books as EPUB files without problems on my personal laptop, which has InDesign CS5. But we're using CS4 at the office. Any ideas?
I'm running InDesign CS4 version 6.0.6 on Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3, HP Compaq desktop, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.

DRM Export to Database Table Error

Hi,
We were testing the DRM export functionality with target as a database table.
The connection was extablished successfully and few tables were selected.
Account hierarchy's parent and child were mapped with the parent and child columns of the table.
On running the export the following error came:
"1: Error during Export. Export was unable to run. Error: Invalid parameter binding Parameter name: P6"
If anyone has worked with this functionality before or understands this error, please let us know.

Export book to PDF doesn't remember previous settings - CS5

I've just noted a somewhat annoying "bug" in the book export. When I export book to PDF--which I do a lot--I have to rename the file and reselect the type of PDF I'm exporting every time. It should remember the last settings I used.I believe in the past that it did.
I also really hate that it always defaults to the interactive PDF--which I will probably never use. Half the time I forget to check that setting, rename the file, click OK, and then have to cancel and go through all the steps again because I forgot that the stupid thing can't remember that I want a Print PDF. I have gone through this annoying misbehavior several times in just the last few minutes. Add that up over all the hours that I work on books and do that export and we're talking about a huge time waster. Am I missing a way to set a defaullt here?

The book export or the regular export? Mine definitely always goes back to interactive PDF. Even after I've saved a print PDF several times. It's really annoying.

Run History Missing from Nano

Greetings!
So here's the skinny. I have a 1st Gen Nano - have had absolutely no issues with it, or my Nike+ stuff, until a few days ago.
On Saturday, the 24th, I was running, and my Nano had a total battery loss/shut down. It had been giving me (I thought) full battery indicators all week, so I was a bit surprised to check it and find it black/off/won't start back up. But, I connected it to my iBook, let it charge up a bit, fired it up, it synced, the run data it had captured before the battery died was there, everything seemed fine and peachy.
Then Monday I run, and sync, and the run posts to Nike+, so it was obviously saved/captured by my Nano. But when I look at the Nike+ Info tab on iTunes, with my Nano still connected, it has no information for "Latest Workout", and the run totals are now off by one run. Same thing happens for my run Tuesday. The Nano obviously saved my run - because when I synced up it sent the info to Nike+. But nothing shows up in "Latest Workout", and my run totals were then off by 2 runs.
After seeing this I start poking around on the Nano itself, and find it won't load my run history past run #107 - which was in July of 2008. At that point I was up to 205 runs. No matter what I do to reset the Nano, it simply won't load run history past 107.
After doing a reset though, I ran today. Again, the run was saved and sent to Nike+'s website. Only today my run totals went up by one. There is still no info in "Latest Workout", and my run totals are off, but at least today it showed signs of life by upping my totals by one. The run totals on my Nano also reflect the run from today, but are missing the runs from Mon/Tues, and it still won't load any history past run 107.
I'm hoping someone here can shine some light on what is going on. I have a feeling the power failure had something to do with it - but doing a reset isn't fixing the issue. All my iTunes/Nano software is up to date, and was up to date before I noticed this issue. I'm doing resets by holding down "Menu" and the center button. I'm not sure if there is any other sort of reset I can do. I'd really rather not restore the iPod, since I know I'll then lose all my run history data, and that's the whole point - I'm trying to recover that! Plus ... I want it to be accurate again! Unless there is some way to save the history file, try restoring my Nano, and then reloading the history file ... seeing if that helps.
I'm very glad to not be actually losing runs - everything is still being sent to Nike+ - which is where it's most important for it to be tracked anyway. But having the accurate history on my Nano was a big deal to me ... so I'd really like to fix this up so I have all my run data at my fingertips again.

I have changed iPods 3 times in the last month, and forgot to transfer the calibration information via inVisibles. I was a bit mad losing that info, but eh! Such is life.
Today I just noticed that my last calibration dating back from August 07 was on my new iPod! So it seems that Nike+ or iTunes is actually keeping a record of it, and transfers it to the new iPod when we update our hardware!!!
So basically, if you just want to avoid losing your calibration information when you upgrade, it's now done automatically. Thanks Apple!

Unless you can set the Time Capsule's drive to have it's ownership ignored
you won't be able to use the library on the same volume as the Time Machine backups.

Seriously? Is there not any way to view and read DRM-protected books downloaded on iTunes on my MacBook Pro? I cannot believe that there is not any way around this! I seem to constantly get confounded by what seems to be the most amazingly unbelievable conundrums with Apple despite having been a champion of the company for years and years. This relates to tethering on iPhone, external Apple hard drives only being usable with MacBook Air, and now this! If anyone is aware of a hack or way around this I would appreciate some guidance. DRM coded books, problem with Adobe ID

Hello
I have registered my new cell phone for Adobe ID but I can not open DRM coded books when they are copied from Digital Edition to my new device (Android cellular phone, Aldiko app).
My Adobe ID was previously registered for I think totally five units, but only three of them have been frequently used. Now I need to add my new cell phone to the account.
In my new cell phone Aldiko app seems to have my Adobe ID registered successfully, but there is a risk that Adobe has not accepted it due to a number-of-device limit.
Can you remove the two registered not-used devices from my account?
Or how shall I else make it work?
Also updated to Digital Editions 4.0 with the same result.
