Droid 2 is displaying "EN" in the status bar next to 3g when Keyboard is open

I have checked the language settings in the Language and Keyboard. As mentioned in another post marked solved. It is set to US english. Like the post before, it only comes on when I slide open the QWERTY Keyboard under the screen. The other DROID 2 that we have does not have this happening. Any Ideas?

I found it! It was in the settings> language & keyboard> multi-touch keyboard settings> input languages> check English, but uncheck Espanol. Once I unchecked the Spanish option, the EN on my keyboard went away.
You would think the EN stands for English, but it's actually for Espanol. I hope that helps!

When a link contains feed: in the URL, it is not displayed correctly in the status bar.
The actual URL is
a href="feed:http://www.....com/feed/"
but the URL shown in the status bar is
feed://http//www.....com/feed/
IE8 shows the correct URL in the status bar. Not sure if this is a problem, but thought I would report it.

Such a feed works for me even if it is displayed differently then you expect on the status bar.

Firefox displays "Stopped" in the status bar; stops all the tabs and does not do anything!

Firefox displays "Stopped" in the status bar after running for a few minutes. It does not do anything on the page unless it is killed by opening the task manager. Sometimes I even have to restart the computer. And if that also doesn't work that shut down using the power button. Others have reported similar issues too.

Display Message error in Status Bar

Hi Experts.
I create a screen, if the user don't insert all fields i want display a message error.
But I want display it in the Status Bar!!!!
Now i try with:
MESSAGE i018.
It's all OK.... but there is the wrong icon
But with
MESSAGE w018.
or
MESSAGE e018.
There is the right icon but when display the error message the input by user are lock!!!
What can I do to see the right icon and don't lock the user input?????

Any way to get rid of the status bar?

hey there, i use safari 3.0.4 on my 10.4.11 macbook, and i know it's nothing really, but it bugs me from an aesthetical point of view.. i don't have the status showing ever, but sometimes when i click a link and a new window opens, the status bar will appear on the new window. i obviously close this, and again this isn't a big problem, just an irritation, but i'm wondering if there's anyway i can fix this so the status bar doesn't appear when i open a new window?

The only thing on my iPad 2 screen is the status bar

I was updating GarageBand clicked on another app and then the screen went completely black. When I pressed the wake button I open my iPad back up an then the screen was completely black. I tried to shut it down with the red slider but it wouldn't turn off. Now the screen is black and the only this on the screen is the status bar items. And when this happened it only had 10% left and they was yesterday! Now it doesn't turn off and the apps don't show up on the screen (it's still black with only the status bar) I can't get the red slider to appear and the screen won't rotate

You have to hold down on the sleep AND the home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. this may not work, but it's worth a try. There other things to try if that doesn't help. You will probably need to restore via recovery mode.

Your code is absolutely unreadable - even if someone was willing to
help, it's simply impossible. I do give you a few tips, though: If you
understand your code (i.e. if it really is YOUR code), you should be
able to realize that your minimum and maximum never get set (thus they

My blue task/status bar at the bottom of the page is no longer visible. How do I turn that back on? The status bar feature under view does display it.

For some reason the blue status/task bar that would normally display at the bottom of the webpage (shows time, etc.) is no longer visible. I do not know how it got turned off and going to view-status bar simply enables a gray bar to display that says "done". I have searched using terms like "display task bar", etc and nothing comes up but view- status bar.

That is the Windows Taskbar and not part of Firefox.
The Firefox Status Bar shows messages like Looking up and Waiting for and loading and Done.
If you do not see that Taskbar with Firefox closed then you may have hidden it.
Try to move the mouse at the bottom and see if you can pull it up with the left mouse button pressed.
If the Taskbar disappear if you open Firefox the check the Properties of the Taskbar to make sure that it is always visible.

Error Message Displaying the status Bar not like popup message

Display error message in the status bar during PBO

Hi All,
I want to issue an error message on a program's selection-screen.
The thing is when I issue an error message inside PBO, all the text in the selection-screen are gone and replaced with lines.
So i displayed the error message in the status bar.
MESSAGE S074(Z4) DISPLAY LIKE 'E'.
But the problem with this is that it will allow to continue data processing.
What shall I do in order for my error message to behave as an error message and not as a status message?

after this use call screen 'your screen no'.

Hello. Perhaps this is because you are trying to arrange the order of many VPN services, since only one VPN service can be selected at once in System Preferences. In my original post, I did not mean that; I meant that I wanted to arrange the order of VPN configurations within a VPN service. In this screenshot, I have one VPN service only:
And in the following one, it is shown that there are more than one VPN configurations within that VPN service:
Furthermore, it was the order of VPN configurations that I wanted to change, not the order of VPN services. If you are trying to change the order of VPN services, I do not have a solution.

I recently updated to Firefox (desktop) 6.0.2 & love it but please can you tell me an EASY way HOW I can I get the status bar to display at the bottom so I can see the status of my downloads, safe sites & that sync is either in progress or finished.

Firefox has a status panel that shows you what is happening during page loading, and also shows the destinations of links when you mouse over them. The status bar showed that as well. You really do not lose that information. I found that I like the addons bar better than the status bar because I could put more buttons on it.
