Droid 3: Use different sounds for different email accts?

After owning a Blackberry for 5 years, I recently got a Droid 3.
I have 3 email accounts on my Droid 3:
Gmail
Cox (a pop account)
Work (a corporate sync account--MS Exchange)
Gmail has it's own notification sound.
Cox & Work share a notification sound. I really need my work to have it's own notification sound. For the life of me I can't figure this out. I found where I can change the sound, but any change I make also applies to the COX account.
Is it possible to have a POP & CORPORATE SYNC account have 2 different ring tones?
Any help is much appreciated!

If you use K9 or Touchdown for your exchange account, I believe that it possible then.
It sounds like you are using the Mail application for both accounts and that app will share a notification tone across all accounts added to it.

There are one thing i miss from my iPhone and that is different notification sounds
Is it possible to use a sound for SMS/MMS and another for email and another other things?

You can have diffenerent SMS tones to other notifications without extra apps.
To change just the SMS tone goto the SMS (messaging) app, press the 3 dots in the top right and select settings. Select the Notification Tone menu item to change the message tone.
You can change the other notifications tone by going to the Settings icon in the main menu and going to Notifications within Sounds.

Having trouble removing a student email account from the Windows Mail App because the school has started using office 365 for thier email which i dont have access to

I was wondering if anybody has any ideas on how to remove a gmail account that was set up by a community college for use on their mail servers and then find out that after awhile they have locked you out because they have started using office 365 for their
emails and you are left with a student email account that you have no idea how to delete because you have missied out on deleting it before they changed to a different email provider?
Anybody with ideas please help because I don't know what to do

Regarding to Windows Mail App, do you mean the Modern UI App in Windows 8.1? Do you mean that you want to remove the email account from Mial App? Generally, we can simply remove the account by the "Account" option in Mail App (Open Mail App, move
the mouse the right chram bar, click Account, then click the mail account\Remove account), but if the email acocunt is tied with the Microsoft Account which is used on the pc, in that case, it is unavailable to remove the email account, you need to contact
your college to disconnect the Microsoft Account.
If I'm misunderstanding something, please free correct me.

Using Logic sounds for input and playback in Sibeius

Hi. I've been running Sibelius and Logic on different PC's, and just for fun, I installed Sibelius on my Mac today. I used my Master Keyboard to play in a test song.
So now I'm wondering whether I can use Logic sounds for inputtting AND for playback. Since I also have VSL on the mac, I don't really want to install the GPO which I use on my Pc with Sibelius.

Have you think using IAC ? I.e you set it as a "Midi Out" port in Sibelius so the midi will carry the data to Logic and trigger its Instruments via the virtual midi cables ( the IAC bus ).
Take care to select Software Instruments tracks only. If you select some track which use say Multi, Standard or Mapped Insr. ( which port is set to IAC by chance ) you will cause midi feedback and crash the Logic app.

Not directly; OE is not supported by iTunes. You need full Outlook. Address Book in later versions of Windows is supported.

If you suspect they are being marked as junk and deleted, turn off the auto-delete. Being that Office is a Microsoft product, you should ask them how to do that: http://www.microsoft.com/mac.

The Apple/iTunes ID (which is a email address) is seperate from any mail accounts yu have on the iPod/iPad. Both devices can use the same Apple/iTunes ID but have different email address for the mail accounts on the devices.

Latest update no sound for text, email, plugging in ipad

since the latest update a couple of days ago my iPad sounds will not work. I mean the ones for incoming text messages, emails, plugging the iPad in- ALL STANDARD SOUNDS OFFERED BY APPLE NOT downloaded sounds! This is very frustrating. I think that you have system sounds muted.
If you lost sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center if you are running iOS 7 or iOS 8. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
If you are running iOS 5 or iOS 6, the system sound control is in the task bar at the bottom. Double tap the home button and swipe all the way to the right in the task bar to get to the speaker icon on the left side. Tap on that and the sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.

Using MTA SDK for sending emails

Hi,
After taking a look to the MTA SDK documentation I still have a key question.
My program needs to send emails to an existent SMTP server - Sun Messaging Server - running in a different box. Can I use MTA to send those emails? I read in several places "Callable Send" can be used only for sending messages from local host, so I'm not sure in my case it can be done.
If it's possible, I'd appreciate any sample of how to do it.

Yeah, I know I need to send the message connecting to Sun MTA but I don't know how. Actually, I know I can use a SMTP client but I'd need to use a third-party library (or build it by my own). I can't use mailx or sendmail from my application. I wouldn't have much control over its execution and each mail submit would mean a context change in my application. I need some kind of API for doing it programatically.
My question is: what is the MTA SDK for? I know I can send/receive messages but I can't understand why I can't do it from remote. As far as I can understand, it seems like MTA SDK works directly with the same local resources Sun MTA server is using, right?

Mozilla is not an email provider.
To get the email details such as mail servers, you need to contact the company that provides the email service. This could be your ISP if you use their email, or if it is a webmail service such as Gmail or Hotmail you need to contact the provider of the webmail service.
