Droid 4 Hidden/Lost Contacts

Okay, maybe I am just dumb, but I have lost a couple face book contacts and can't seem to retrieve them.
FOr some reason with the new update my phone merged the data for two similarly named people.  I could not separate the information and thought to just delete the merged entity and reenter the contacts separately.  When I deleted the contact it said it was going to hide the facebook information that was not editable, I figured no problem.
Now I have the contacts re-entered, but I can not find the hidden facebook contacts to re associate them.
None of the help I have found works, they all refer to setting or buttons that don't exist on my current device and OS.  Can someone here please help me?

Let's get your contact information back Shinzen!  Demmo86rt provided a great suggestion!  If you are still unsuccessful try selecting People>Menu>Contacts to display>All Contacts.  Please let me know if you need any additional assistance.  Thank you!

    Hi,
I tried to install Oracle 10.2.0.1 on a RedHat 4 box. Both, Oracle and RedHat are 64 bit versions. The installation was fine but the database creation (with dbca) could not create the database because of this error: ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact
I can not find any errors in the installation log. Only this warnings in the make.log:

If you execute "uname -mpi" and output value is x86_64 then you didn't install all required packages.
/usr/bin/ld: warning: i386 architecture of input file `/opt/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/sysman/lib/snmccolm.o' is incompatible with i386:x86-64 outputAccording to this message you are missing some 64bit package.
To find the missing package execute following command to list installed packages and post the output:
rpm -qa --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}\n'|egrep 'compat|glibc|gcc|libstdc'|sortMessage was edited by:

  • Repeated 'ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact' messages after installing Oracle 10

    Hi,
I installed Oracle 10g on Redhat ES 3, and the install went well, but when I try and interact with the server I get the message:
    ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact
For example, if I use the Database Configuration Assistant to attempt to create a database, I will see the above message when it begins the database creation process, or if I try to interact with the Oracle server using sqlplus I will see the above message after each command entered.
I had recently tried to install Oracle 8.1.7 on the same box, but abandoned that after deciding that the effort required to link Oracle 8 on RHES3 just wasn't worth it.
I have been told that my previous partial installation of Oracle 8 may be the cause of the problem, and have been advised to uninstall Oracle 8, uninstall Oracle 10g, and reinstall Oracle 10g. I find it hard to believe that it would require such an action to solve this problem. Are there any configuration changes I can make to resolve it?
My problem sounds like it may be similar problem to a recent posting by Hugo Ferrer - but my Spanish isn't good enough to fully understand Hugo's problem. Anyways, I am new to Oracle, so thanks for any help with this problem.
    Colm.

My last message asking for a grater degree of specificity was not overly specific, hence I am posting the kernel parms that I have set with the hopes that you will spot one that I set improperly or one that I neglected to set.

In the middle of using wi-fi on my MacBook Pro, I lost contact. No other apple devices (iMac, iPhone or iPad) are affected. When I click on the empty wi-fi icon (top right of the screen) it gives the message: Wi-Fi: No hardware installed. has anyone any clues?

Wi-Fi: No hardware installed. has anyone any clues?
Unfortunately, this message is almost always an indication that the internal AirPort card on the Mac has failed and will need to be replaced. This is a job for repair shop.
If you have a recent Mac, a Hardware Test may reveal this as well:

  • Lost contacts, notes and reminders

HI! Today I lost contacts, notes and reminders on my iPhone. I checked on my iCloud account and everything is there, then I checked iCloud settings on my iPhone and all options are off except for Find My iPhone. I did not turn on everything because I am worried that I could lose information on iCloud. How can I restore my contacts, notes and reminders to my iPhone from my iCloud account?

    Hello jguevara.diaz ,
I see why you did not want to turn those on. Fortunately, you will not lose your information on iCloud by turning ON contacts, notes and reminders.
    Have a good one!

bought a new iphone and i cant activate it unless the previous owner deletes the account from their icloud but i lost contact with the previous owner how can i fix this?

Take it back where you got and and get your money back.
As has been pointed out, if there was a "previous owner", the phone is not "new". Thephone you purchased is most likely stolen. If whoever you bought it from won't give you your money back, turn it over to the police.

  • Can I recover lost contacts?

A little kid wiped out my phone a little while ago probably a month but he wiped out all the data by inputting the wrong code too many times and I was able to redownload all my lost media and stuff and most of my contacts were saved. However, a few of the contacts weren't and I was wondering if its possible to recover them?

        Hi there DaveBrock,
Those kids can be quite destructive when it comes to technology sometimes! Did you previously have your contacts backed up anywhere? Google, Backup Assistant, Verizon Cloud? If yes, then you should be able to recover them from there. If not, there wouldn't be a way for us to recover lost contacts.

I found out that I have some lost contacts on my iphone 5s, they dont appear when I search but if the contact calls me I see their name. How can I get those contacts to be on the list?

You could check settings > mail contacts and calandars and see if there are any accounts (like icloud gmail yahoo) listed and if they have contacts on. Its possible if contacts were synced to one of these accounts that turning them back on will recover the missing contacts.
