Droid And Download Links

Does anyone know if there is any work being done to fix a problem with the OS with the default internet browser and using PHP or ASPX download applets to download files. IE: Geocachine.com and Downloading GPX files. The Droid downloads the ASPX page and not executing it and getting the correct file. I don't have this issue if I use say Opera Mini 5 to download these files.. I like the default browser and never really was a Opera fan.....

Unfortunately at this time there is no fix in place for this issue. If a fix is available you will be notified via a update on your device.

How to add Modify, Refresh, Print and Download link into my dashboard report...

I got a answer..
Steps:
Select Page Options -> Edit Dashboard ->(Select the report) -> Properties -> Report Links
And Select the options which we want.

After updating to V 15.0 I have the issue that suddenly many but not all of the functions do not work anymore. Menues and download links do not work.

I have updated my firefox to version 15.0. After this I have the effect that at some unspecified time during use many of the functions stop working. Menu's do not open, download links do not work anymore and so on. Opening new tab's or windows still works. Links on pages partly work partly not. Copy and paste does not work anymore on webpages. It takes ending the firefox process and restarting to correct the issue until it happens again. I have those effects on totally different webpages. At this time it happens every time after I start Firefox but not right away. Firefox first works for some time and then it suddenly doesn't anymore without me having done anything special

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

CS3 Not loading from disc and download link not working

I had to wipe my MacBook Pro hard drive. I am now running Mavericks. I bought CS5 as an upgrade to CS3 so CS3 is required to be on my computer before it will let me load the update.I have tried loading CS3 from the disk (I have my original discs) but it won't let me. It gets stuck about 2/3rds of the way through install. I've tried 4 times and I'm fed up. Nothing should be this hard. There is nothing wrong with my CD drive either, as I have loaded four other pieces of software that come on CD.
I tried to download CS3 from the links that Adobe tells me to use but none of the links work. I have searched for links in general, I have done specific searches in Adobe. Everything I come across for the CS3 download gives me an error when I click on the Mac version to download (HTTP Error: 404/support/downloads/dlm/main.jsp). I have switched off the pop up blocker as well and tried more than one browser when downloading.
Does anyone have a work around? I've paid over $4,000 for this software, I don't have the money to buy the latest version and I need to get my work done. I'm done with the stupidity of just trying to load this and I shouldn't have to buy the latest version just to be able to load my update.
Please help if you can.

you don't need to install cs3 in order to install your cs5 upgrade. if you start the cs5 installation you will first be prompted for your cs5 serial number. the installer will then 'look' for cs3 on your computer and failing to find that will then prompt you for your cs3 serial number thereby establishing that you qualify to install the cs5 upgrade.
but if you want to install cs3:

"Download Linked File As" Does Not Work

As others have noted, although Safari is an excellent and fast browser, there is one feature that is quite annoying, namely that all filed download by default to a single folder selected in preferences. Internet Explorer (and Firefox, I believe) by default allows the user to save to any folder selected at the time. In each thread I've read noting this problem, someone answers that the solution in Safari is to right click on the link and select "Download Linked File As" then direct the browser to the folder. The problem is that this does not work as Safari downloads only the link (or something else) but not the linked file. For example, if the linked file is a PDF, under "file type" PDF does not appear, only "All Files" and once the download is complete you have an entry in the desired folder but not the file itself. (This is true even if you append the proper suffix to the file name; no actual file.) Is there a solution here or does it really take several steps to get a downloaded file into the folder of choice?

I just checked a pdf and "Download linked file as" does give me option to save where I want for pdf, jpg files and others.

Need to add print and download options for report in new window

Hi,
On one of the columns empid of the report1 (which is on the dashboard) , I am using navigation and pointing it to report2.
Report1 has all the links, print, download and refresh (I enabled them using the section properties) but when I click on empid and it takes me to report2, then I don't see any links under that report. I want to include print and download links for report2 when it opens in the new window.
I know, one way is to embedd that report in the dashboard page and hide it, but is there any other way of doing it?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

RonnyPlease explain why you can't do what I said. What is the "requirements" that prevent this? It would be transparent to the user, really. They just click and get their report.

"Download Linked file as..." loses filename

I'm having a problem saving gmail attachments. "Download linked file as..." works fine, but the filename defaults to "0"! How can I get the original filename in the "save" box? I just want to save the attachment directly to a drive of my choosing with its original filename. I know I can open the doc and save from there, but I'd prefer a solution rather than workarounds!
I'm on Maverick and using Safari to access Gmail.

Hi All,
I need a solution to bring the Print and download links on header and footer of the report on OBI 10g. By default we are getting it only on the report footer, the same functionality needed for top of the report too. Can anyone direct me the xml file and code to change?

Hi,
Edit the dashboard and in the Properties tab you can select Report links.
A multi select window pops up: select all the options that you would like to see on the dashboard page.

I asked for upgrading on october 23th, base on the grace period, because I bought PE11 in september, since this I chatted to times with Adobe support about this with only a very little step each time for the problem resolution. But we are now novenber 24th, one month later and I have no serial number and download link on "my adobe" order page.
Chatting is very difficult for non english speaking person. I have no direct email for order resolution where I can take time to answer and ask question.
