Droid blue tooth activation with ear phone

How can I get the phone to sync with the ear phone? Instructions say turn on blue tooth on phone - done. Turn ear piece on - done. use commands on phone to locate and select earpiece??? How do I find commands? If I tap the Bluetooth icon it just turns off.

Hi gcreichle. Both your phone and BT headset will need to be in discovery mode in order to connect. Check the instructions for your headset, which should have been included at the time of purchase. In regards to your phone, follow the instructions below:
1. Select Menu
2 .Wireless & Network
3. Bluetooth Settings
4. BT Device should be visible
5. Input passcode.

If I get this right, you've ported your phone number to AT&T with the purchase of the iPhone. That is considered opening your own account under your name. Your brother's account is not ported to AT&T unless you used his SS# instead of yours. Your brother still has his account under Verizon Wireless, all you did was use your cell phone number to when you opened your own AT&T account.
If you don't want to use your Verizon Wireless phone #, my suggestion is to call AT&T customer service and explain that you want a new phone number instead of the ported Verizon number.

I am not sure if you are unable to activate iMessage or that your phone number is not registering with iMessage. However, here are the troubleshooting articles that cover both scenarios.

Blue tooth malfunction with keyboard and kepad

I replaced both the trackpad and wireless keyboard thinking they were the ones malfunctioning, but, when the iMac stop recognizing the keyboard, I rebooted and the Blue Tooth Icon is no longer in the Preferences Menu.
Any ideas what is going on with this?

You may want to try resetting the SMC & PRAM, and see if the issue persists.
If so, then you may have an issue with your iMac's bluetooth antenna/card.

My freind blue tooth some picture over to my phone and I would like to use one of the pictures as a screen saver but my phone is saying the file is to large so how can I reduce the size of the file to fit my phone which is a 5230.

If still getting error, Open Gallery>highlight image(Single tap)>options>edit. (and crop it to fit screen,or simply use Resize option in "effects")

Yes I did. There is nothing in the peer-to-peer specs that state that both devices have to be iPhones - only that both are running compatible apps using the PAN profile. In theory, another format version of the app could be designed to do this.

Today, a visit to the Honda Service Dept has confirmed that the Blackberry Z10 is not in the list of compatible mobile devices for the 2012 Honda CRV. Check your owners manual for the website link with list. I suspect Honda didn't think it was worth the investment in a software upgrade to include the Blackberry Z10. I was told by the Service Dept to consider switching phones.....imagine that.

Low volumn when speaking on phone (Can only hear with ear phones)

I have an 8GB, 1st Gen Iphone OS 3.1.3. When I first purchased the phone the volumn when receiving calls or making calls was clearly audible via speaker or holding to my ear. Fast forward 1.5- 2 yrs and now I can only make/receive calls with the headphones in! I have not altered anything, updated software, etc. not overloaded the phone. I don't get it. Any suggestions?

Could be a hardware problem or failure.
If no change after any of the standard troubleshooting steps which in order are power the iPhone off and on, a reset, restoring with iTunes from the iPhone's backup, and restoring with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, more than likely this is a hardware problem or failure.

You don't.
This is not a feature of iphone, unless your wireless provider offers tethering and you are subscribed to the plan. Then you can use bluetooth for tethering purposes only.
Bluetooth supports stereo headset/speakers, handsfree telephone devices/headsets, some peer-to-peer apps, and tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than this, it will not connect to a computer/phone device.
