Droid Incredible 4G Wont make calls

I am experiencing a painfully frustrating delay everytime I try to make a call. I will dial the number and hit call.,..nothing happens. I will select the contact from the list....nothing happens. I will hit the call button to redial the last call....nothing happens. then finally after 2-5 minutes, the phone will suddenly spring to life and make the call. And if I tried to make the call several times, it makes several calls all at once to the same person. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you fix it? I've already done a factory reset and it keeps happening.

This seems to be odd, that you are still having even after you done a factory resest. How long has this problem been going on? Do you have a lot of 3rd party apps on the phone? Another question I have is, how long have you had the device? Is there any physical or liquid damage to the device? Also, have you tried to remove the sim card and place it back into the device? http://vz.to/Nbru3z Please keep me posted.

i did the update like 3 or 4 days ago and the phone has been working fine up till now... everytime i try to make a call it acts like its trying to do something but then the call fails every time and i have full service to....internet is working and so is itunes but i cant make calls. is there anything i can do?

Restore the phone as New, and do not reload your backup. If you still have a problem with it you have a hardware problem.

Droid Incredible won't Conference Call - VZW Area Supposed Known Issue

My Droid Incredible won't connect when you try to add in 2nd call. No one in my area can conference call with their Droids...not even the VZW Store Droid demo models or the reps there who have the Incredible. My friends have tried conference calling with their Droid's with no luck as well. VZW tech says its a known issue, and until Verizon pushes out update to our area - I'm out of luck! The rep said my options are that they can replace my phone with a different phone model or of course I can break my contract. Really? You want me to go to Apple and get your competitor's Iphone?

With the Droid Incredible I do not have the SEND option once I am connected to the first party. I just have the END CALL button on my screen. I just got off the phone with Customer Service who reviewed the Tech support notes and she said according to the Ticket the issue is my area, and the way the Droid's are designed to conference call. The work around in my area is to hit SEND twice to connect the 2nd party, however she did state, as I can observe, that the Droids do not have the option to hit send on a 2nd call. My friend has a Droid X in my area and he too is unable to conference call. According to trouble ticket they cannot do anything for me. I am out of luck and my only option is for VZW to give me a new model phone, well we all know the only comparable phone is the Droid X which won't help me as it can't conference call either. With what I do, I need to be able to conference call and if I pay $300 for a phone with the feature, I expect Verizon to accomodate me so this just boggles my mind why Verizon isn't working hard to address this issue. So the only other alternative I see is to break contract and move to AT&T and get the Iphone, but I really do love my Incredible so this is a hard decision. Why is Verizon not working to address this issue? Who can I talk to???

MY 4S WAS ACTING A LITTLE STICKY SO I DID A NETWORK AND PHONE RESET. PHONE WONT ACCEPT CALLS OR COMPLETE THEM. 2 BLEEPS AND THE CALLS ARE DROPPED . I ALSO DID A RESTORE AFTER THAT AND STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. HELP ANYONE

reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes

Iphone 4s wont make calls or send texts/ iMessage not working

My iPhone 4s just recently started showing 'No Service" in the top left corner of the screen and iMessage will not activate either. It switches off from no service to having service. I cannot make calls either. Ive tried calling *228 but my phone will not make the call. I cant send regular text messages either it just comes back as message failed to send. As you can see this is very frustrating as I need my phone to do the basics of texting and calling. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some things to try.
Call Customer Service and ask them to check your local towers
Hard reset of the phone.
Reset the Networks on the phone settings. Settings > General > scroll to bottom > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Back up to iTunes on a computer and restore

Wont Make calls/texts and cannot use internet

The other day I was texting someone then suddenly there was an error sending message then ever since then I can't text anyone, make any calls or use the internet. I can receive texts and calls just not make them.
My payment isn't due untill the 2nd, I have gone over my contract but I have enough money in my bank account to pay for this... :S So I don't know if this will affect it...
I've tried restoring it to factory settings and resetting everything but that didn't help.

Nah I haven't done that yet, was planning to do so today but wanted to see if I could get any online help before... Am just checking to see if there is an easy solution or anything..

Wifes and daughters phones hook up [androids] I changed from blackberrys to i 4s blackberrys always worked still have work blackberry thats hooked up and working now? using t mobile seems to work fine when im out just not at home. Blackberry switches and works seamesly androids do also.

Droid Incredible 2 not receiving all call

I've had my Droid Incredible 2 for almost a year now and starting in August it started to not receive all my calls. It wouldn't ring but I would get the notification sound that I have a voicemail. I contacted verizon and they sent me a replacement phone, by the end of that week they were sending me another one for the same problem. I'm now on my fourth replacement phone and am experiencing the same problem. Is there anyone else experiencing this problem?
I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for almost 4 years and have been extremely happy with their service and support over the years. But I was disappointed when I asked about the possibility of getting me into another phone, they wanted me to downgrade to a LG Enlighten. After speaking to my local VW store they told me that the LG Enlighten has been a problematic phone and they did not recommend that phone at all. I am basically out of options at this point and am considering switching to a different carrier and get a phone that will actually work, I am sicking of paying almost $200/month for a phone that wont work like it should. Anyone please help!!

Receiving calls and text messages but it wont make tjem

hello, my iPhone 4 is receiving calls and text messages but it wont make them , it was fine few moments ago , i have tried hard rest , sim removal, resetting network settings , but nothing is happening !

Wont recieve or let me make calls!! along with texts..

Ok so its a blackberry 8530, it wont let me make calls, just says 'call failed' also wont allow people to call me. This is the same for texts, im not sure if this has something to do with it, but it doesnt seem to tell me my number? For example in the call log, it says 'my number:' but blank... and then also on options>SIM card> the 'phone number' is blank to. im not sure what to do, please help!

Ok, in that case, it can only be one of two things. One may be that you're just in an area with very bad reception. The other thing is that you may need to contact Vodafone to see if it's a problem with a setting on their end.
Beyond that and assuming things are working correctly on Vodafone's end, the only thing left to try is to reload the OS and see if that will help. You can do that by following these instructions:

If that still doesn't work, I'm not sure what to say, but if the device is still under warranty, you might be looking at sending it for warranty service.

try easy first. if pre paid make sure you have not ran out of date,might need top up. if on contract check with your provider to see if they have stopped your account, if all fails ring apple

I cannot make call from voice comands or fast dialing while my Lexus is moving,without first unlocking the Iphone4S. Did not happen with previous Droid

I used before a Droid with my car (Lexus) to make call with Hands-Free system without the need to unlock the phone.It worked OK ,with the car parked or running.
I have now a IPhone4S and if I want to make a call while driving, I need to unlock first the IPhone or stop the car, for the the call to go througth.
If I unlock the IPhone and keep it unlocked all the time ,no problems,but unfortunally the battery died sooner than I wanted in long travels.
Any way to way to keep it locked and still works, like it did with the Droid?

Sorry your experience wasn't a plesant one, but most of the issues they work on are hardware in nature, not software.. I'm not taking up for Apple... I'd had my share of run-ins with them as well.
As for your iTunes issue... an EASY solution is to simply tell iTunes that the location you want your tunes stored in is your Public folder. Items in your public folder can be seen and opened by others, so your wife could easily access the files there.
For you, go to your Music folder, find the iTunes folder, and drag it to your public folder.
Next, go to iTuness>Preferences and click on the Advanced tab, then the General Tab, and the first window you see is the iTunes Music Folder Locataion. Click Change, then navigate to the iTunes folder in you Public folder.
Now, next time you purchase a song from the iTunes store, or import songs from a CD, they will be stored in the iTunes folder, in your public folder.
You wife does basically the same thing except she navigates to YOUR public folder, and the iTunes folder inside.
She will have to manually find and import any new songs you add but at least your entire library will be available for her to listen to.
There are other ways of getting the same thing done, but I think this is the easiest.

Iphone 4S wont make or receive calls

Alright, so the other night my Iphone was factory restored because it was locked in rocovery mode. I restored it from backup and updated to IOS 7.0.3 and it wont make or receive calls - it says call ended immediately when i dial a number no ringtone no answering machine. I've tried resetting the network settings, restoring from backup (again), and to make things worse my lock button has been broken for months - i haven't had the money for a replacement power sensor strip. Any ideas what i should try to do to fix it? Or do I need to try Factory Restore again? Oh and my 3G works just fine and I can send and receive texts. And its not JailBroken as a final note.

i have there is nothing wrong with the signal in my area, and they have told me check the mobile data network and i have done everything including reseting everything but its still not working
