Droid RAZR won't turn on.

Hello,
I was calling my voicemail about 4 hours ago and suddenly my phone froze and wasn't able to do anything. I pressed the screen-lock button and I could still hear my voicemail playing messages until it reached the end and disconnected. I haven't been able to do anything with my phone since this. I have charged it since all of this and the phone is giving me no response whatsoever. Any tips or ideas?

How can I stop my Droid Razr-M from turning on when i plug in the charger? I can turn it off and even wait a few minutes before plugging it in to the charger and it still turns on immediately when plugged in. If I turn it off after plugging in the charger, it turns back on right away too.

I know its frustrating to have your phone powered on when dharger brazzco. Have you tried to to plug the phone into the charger then power the phone down? Are you u sing the wall charger or USB charger? Is the phone damaged? Keep us posted.

Motorola Droid Bionic won't turn on

My droid bionic died overnight. It was charging via USB from my computer as usual and now it won't turn on. It does nothing when not plugged into the USB charger and shows a white light in the upper right when it is plugged into the charger.

Try removing the battery for a few minutes, then reinserting and charging with the wall charger.

DROID ULTRA won't turn on

I have had my Droid for almost a year now and now it won't turn on. The green notification light is on though. I have held the power and down-volume button down for about 2 minutes and it worked for a second however it quickly turned off again. HELP ME PLEASE!

C.Meshele, I can understand how we need to get this fixed ASAP. I want your phone to be up and running without any issues. Is there any kind of physical or liquid damage to the device? Have you tried to press and hold the power down button for a good 10 seconds while the phone is on the charger as well as off the charger? Please keep us posted.

Droid Razr M wont turn on....keeps making droid sound though!

Last night I dropped my phone, and since then it won't turn on.
It has been making the droid sound/starting up sound all night (even while on the charger), but wont actually turn on.
It did fall in a puddle at one point last night, but worked up until i dropped it for a second time (on dry pavement) and stopped working than.
I have it in rice just in case, but it just keeps making the droid sound.
I've only has it for 6 months too.
Not sure what to do!!

Droid Turbo won't turn on

Plugged my phone into the charger last night and woke up this morning and it won't turn on. I plugfed it into the turbocharger this morning and let it charge a bit and it still won't turn on. Anyone have any ideas?

Try clearing the cache and see if that helps:

Droid 3 Won't turn on

The applications on my Droid 3 started malfunctioning. When I would tap them to select them they'd just flash and go back to the home screen. I tried to power off and it wouldn't it just froze. So I took the battery out and put it back in and now it won't even power on..it just shows that "Dual Core" logo. I tried taking the battery out again and holding the ok button on the keyboard and pushing power to try to get to safe mode and still NOTHING just the "Dual Core" logo. I'm missing all kinds of calls and text. Please help. I've been looking around the online and this seems to be a common theme with these phones. Is there a recall on these? Anyway I just need my phone to work. Please advise.

Oh, No. We've got to get your device back up and running. It sounds like you have a potential software issue on your phone that may be causing these issues. This is not a known issue for this phone. However, if you have several applications downloaded to your phone, it may be affecting the performance of your phone.
I recommend that you hard reset your phone. Since your screen is frozen on the "Dual Core" logo, you will need to power your device off by briefly removing the battery and then placing the battery back into your device. While the device is powered off, press/hold the power button and Volume Up/Down button. You will see a reboot screen pop up. I hope this works for you. Droid Razr won't power off

I've had my Razr for almost three months. This evening, while checking email and Facebook it froze. I have not been able to navigate or power off... completely frozen on the Facebook screen for two hours now. Anything I can do now or do I have to bring it in to Verizon?

Solved - I was finally (after SEVERAL attempts) able to power my Droid off. I held the power button and the volume down button for 10 seconds.

DROID 2 WON'T TURN ON

So I just got my Droid 2 yesterday and the battery died today and now it will not turn back on. It has been on the charger for about 15 minutes and I cannot get it to turn on. I do not even see a battery sign saying the battery is charging. I have tried several different outlets. The light next to the USB port is on telling me the phone is getting power.

I agree with Ann. If you let your battery go below 10%, it is drained. You need a good charge and only a wall charger will do the trick. Fifteen minutes is definitely not enough time. One hour minimum, personally, a longer charge would be better, about four hours. Only when the battery gets to 15% will it turn on, but, as Ann said, while you're charging, I recommend leaving the phone off.

Droid screen won't turn on

My screen stopped working. I can hear when I receive text messages, and the green light flashes in the top right hand corner, and the menu, power etc buttons at the bottom work, but the screen is entirely blank. I've tried taking the battery out (for different lengths of time), putting in a different battery, and nothing works. Any ideas?

We bought (2) Droid 2's last Christmas for our sons and they have worked well up until about 2-3 weeks ago...the screens on both of them began to intermittently go blank...resets and battery swaps worked for a while. When they got home today, both screens are again not working and I can't seem to get them going (I've tried all the usual tricks). I was originally thinking that the issue was related to the OS upgrade we did a month or so ago but now I'm convinced it's a HW issue.....

DROID X2 won't turn on

I love my smart phone for multiple uses including calls, GPS, and getting information from colleagues and my boss.
The past 24 hours my phone will not turn on. It died yesterday and I need it for it's main purpose, communication.
In the past month, it fully died once, and it took hours to finally turn back on. Twice last week, if I turned it off, it took hours to turn back on. I constantly take out the battery, carefully, and place it back it on. I am so outraged that my phone has turned against me.
Please let me know if there is a RESET button. I am in the Downtown Cleveland area where no Verizon store seems to be and obtaining information is crucial in work.

Droid Razr Bug. Won't play streaming audio from websites.

My Droid Razr won't play streamed audio from a website and won't play .wav files attached to e-mails. That's annoying.
Motorola tech support said problem will be fixed upon next upgrade of Android OS.
My phone is currently running Android OS 2.3.5.
Does anyone now of a quicker fix?
Does anyone know when an OS upgrade will be available for the Droid Razr?

i got the same issue on my ipod. i figured the whole idea of converting the format would solve the issue. never really found out how to solve it. i'll be watching this post to see if anyone has a solve for this issue.

How recently did you switch? If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account. The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices. I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...

For the messaging issue outlined in your post, are you referring to text messages or voice mail messages? What is your phone's software version?

Droid Incredible 2 won't turn on or charge.

I have had this problem before, right after I got the DINC2. Yesterday, I wanted to take out my memory card to save pictures on my computer via a usb card reader. I turned my phone off by pressing the power button and selecting power off. I removed my battery, and then removed the memory card. After transferring my pictures, I placed the memory card back in the DINC2, and placed the battery and cover back on the device. I pushed the power button, and NOTHING. The phone won't turn on. I plugged it in to the charger, and the amber light won't even come on. I thought it might be the charger, so I used the USB cord attached to the computer, and still no charging light. I have removed the battery overnight, and just let it set. When I reinstalled the battery this morning, still nothing. The charging light does not come on, and I can't power up the device.
I had this problem before. I had let the battery run down to nothing and the device powered itself off. Same scenario, the charge light would not come on when plugged into the charger, and I couldn't power up the device. I left the battery out overnight, and the next morning the device still wouldn't power on. I placed the phone in my car, and plugged in my car charger. After a few minutes, the amber light came on, and I was able to power up the device. This, however, did not work this time. Nothing I try helps.
Is this a common problem? How should I go about getting this resolved?

It must be frustrating not being able to power your phone on. I checked my resources and this is not noted as a known issue with the Droid Incredible 2. Since you are not able to power on the phone, there is nothing we can troubleshoot by phone. I recommend to bring your device to a Verizon Wireless store for a hands on evaluation. You can find a Verizon Wireless store near you by entering your ZIP code at vzw.com/storelocator online.
