Droid Touch Screen going NUTS

I have the OG Droid and all of a sudden my touch screen goes all over the place and does things without any touch at all. Is this the start of the end for the old Droid? I am able to upgrade but was going to wait for Droid Bionic. Not sure I can wait that long now. Maybe the Thunderbolt. I am not buying the stupid Iphone either. So hopefully something comes out soon because everything out that isnt an Iphone is old or my Droid starts working better and I can wait the Bionic out.

You should uninstall the app from the Google Market menu under your Downloads. If you do the master factory reset be sure not to redownload the app.

Hi,
the touch screen on the printer does not work well. If I press a particular button on the screen it triggers another function. As a result I cannot copy or manage anything from the touch screen.
Any solution?
I have tried to reboot the printer but the only way is through the touch screen menu and I can't access that.

Droid Touch Screen acting up

The touch screen is becoming a diva. It only wants to work and response when it wants to.
Most of the time it doesn't unlock when I swipe my finger across.
The "home" screen will not responded when I try to execute a function.
Random things happen such as phone dials random numbers and opens random apps on the screen.
Ive tried a shut down and restart, pulled the battery. Dont know what else to do. Help please

Xperia Z2 touch screen going rampage

When I was using the phone, the touch screen would suddenly go rampage as if touching random places on the screen. So, I decided to activate the dev option and log down the pointer movement, it turns out like a big cross and pointer moving around the screen frame, something like this: IXI , and top and bottom of course, in fact I was actually making circles in the middle of the screen. Any idea how this happen? I doubted that it might be a static electric discharge phenomenon, due to the usage of of low quality matte display screen protector which I constantly rubbing lightly. However, that is just my guess and I would like to hear from you guys as well. Helps and suggestions are appreciated, thank you.

IPhone touch screen going bad.

I noticed this last week my touch screen not working in certain areas of my screen the upper part. What should I do send in for repair or buy new 3G. I'm curious how much a repair will be

I would suggest you take it in to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them test it.

IdeaPad S500 Touch - Screen goes black after driver update

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S500 Touch. It is running the most recent update of Windows 8.1. It suggested an update to the Lenovo Video Driver. After downloading and installing the update, the screen went black. When rebooting, the Lenovo logo appears on the screen, and it goes black again. No matter what I try, that's it.
Anyone have a suggestion?

You will need to boot the system into safe mode.
the only option to boot there based on your situation is to crash boot the system
When you turn on the system, Lenovo Logo Appears then Black screen wait maybe a minute the hold the power button down to crash it you may need to reapeat this 4 to 5 times until it boots to a page like this
Once you got that proceed with these selection
Troubleshoot / Advanced Option / Startup Settings
Then you should rerach options with Safemode Select that.
If the driver is the problem you should be able to boot here,
Open device Manager and rollback the Video Driver

One Mac freezes with swirling rainbow, the other screen goes nuts

Older vintage iMacs, but updated with Snow Leopard. one often freezes up and depicts the swirling rainbow for an eternity...even if only one application is running. The screen on the other Mac goes bonkers after about 10 minutes and any mouse jesture sends random colors across the screen to the point where nothing is visible to click on.
Is there some sort of diagnostic program that OSX has that can fix this? I don't want to have to reload OSX or have to lug the computers into the store.

On your sceen you could have a failing graphics card or display. You can run Apple Hardware Test in Extended Mode, you may need to run it several times. It's a lengthy test so please be patient. Also here is a recent article on troubleshooting displays.

Otterbox defender case sometimes prevents touch screen operation

My Droid charge screen goes black during or at the end of a phone call and no amount of touching the screen or pushing the buttons on the phone anywhere makes any difference. I have to take the rubber covering off and open the Otterbox case to get the screen to light back up. Everything on the screen is exactly where it would have been without the case when I do this and I can close the phone conversation and get the phone back to the main screen, then put it all back together in the case again. I could understand if the Otterbox screen was too thick to allow me to touch the phone pad keys on the screen, but why can't any of the external buttons override this for me? It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to make it somewhat annoying, as the phone call remains connected until I get thru the process of removing it from the case. Someone on the other end has probably been the recipient of some carefully chosen epithets as I struggled to get the phone call disconnected from my end, I'm sure.
I'm happy with this phone, don't get me wrong, but I need to know if anyone else has had this experience and how they are dealing with it. I have to use the phone in my construction work, so the Otterbox is also a necessity.

Faulty touch screen for my Droid Incredible 2

I have a Droid Incredible 2, but I am having a tough time being positive about it. The lower edge of my touch screen has become non-responsive and/or finicky at random times. While on the desktop, I often can't get the "Phone" button to work. It is like the bottom edge of the touch screen shuts off. That is quite irritating, but it is not as irritating as it is after I actually get in to my phone. If I call someone and get an answering machine, I can't hang up. The "End Call" button doesn't work. This becomes bearable if I call someone and the person answers. It is bearable because the phone will let me out of the loop when he or she hangs up. However, not being able to hang up on an answering machine is quite irritating, especially if it is one that allows for an endless length message. I've found that powering off is the only way out of that predicament.
The touch screen has been a problem while in other programs, too. It is a pain when playing a game and not being able to do something because the touch screen gives out. In those situations, forcing the screen to black and re-dragging down to get it often allows me to keep going, but I don't think I should have to deal with that.
What am I to do? There is no recalibration for my touch screen. Is getting a replacement phone an option? Heck, I am not sure if I am even under warranty.
Can anyone help?

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. My ipod touch is flashing white on and off, I hold the buttons down, and the screen goes black- but the apple logo does not come on. What do I do?

So I have had this problem before, and know that you hold down the top Power button and the Home button, at the same time, for roughly 10 seconds, or until the apple logo comes on.
The problem is, when I press the buttons and the screen goes black, like it's supposed to before the logo pops up, the apple logo isn't appearing.
I was wondering if that's because my I pod touch was drained when I plugged it in to charge, and I tried to turn it on when it was still charging?
What can I do?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

What is going on with my iPhone 5s touch screen?!

I bought my iPhone 5s in November of 2013. I've loved it so far, until about a month ago when I noticed a major problem. When I type on the keyboard vertically (haven't tried horizontal) different parts of my screen start being activated. For example, the amount of times I've been texting someone and end up sending a FaceTime request (so activating the top right corner) is ridiculous. I even tried posing this question originally off of my phone (why I thought that was smart, I'll never know), and I found myself typing in the question tab or refreshing the page or typing in the middle of random words every single time. I notice it very badly in iMessage, but I've also seen it happen on Facebook as well. There are times when I even find myself three pages back from where I was at first, because of typing/touching. Basically, I have no idea what's going on. Some days seem better than others, and other times I can barely send out a message to someone. It certainly helps when I slow down the pace of typing (I thought maybe hitting 'blank' parts in between keys was causing it), but alas this only helps mildly, and sometimes not at all. I also don't believe I see this touching error outside of typing (however, this could be because I don't notice it as overtly). It seems like if I was capable of recalibrating the touch screen, that would help. But the iPhone doesn't come with a recalibrating option other than wiping the phone. I'm just at a loss as to how typing the bottom half of my screen sends signals to the top half. Am I the only one facing this? Or does anyone have any remote clue as to what could be going on/can be done to stop this? Obviously, it's very inconvenient in my life.
