Droid Turbo won't send videos!!!

Phone will not even allow me to send a 5 second video via text message. Have changed resolution restarted the phone tried attaching when in message and sharing while in gallery nothing works! Need help on what to do?

I also noticed if you go in the message hit the plus sign and record video it will send. As the video isn't in the HD. If I record from the camera and try to share it won't share to anything? Does that sound right? What is the point of HD video recording If you can't share it?

I tried to send a video to my friend, of course it was in the process of sending but then I instantly got this email
"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed."
The same problem happened with Viber. It won't send videos even after being trimmed. It processes the video but then says "Not Sent"

Is wifi connected and working. Are you signed out on other mobile devices and outlook etc. You can be locked out when signed in toomany places atonce. Sometimes you need to sign into your email account from a laptop or desktop computer. This will not work on mobile device. You will need to make sure there are not pop boxes, security info required, etc. Obviously this tests password too. After trying to enter manually as mentioned above, go to Settings>Mail Contacts Calendars>Tap on any accounts saved that are not working or used anymore and delete them. If that doesn't resolve delete the "previously working" account and add account again.

  • Droid X Won't Send Text Messages

My Droid X won't send text messages to one of my contacts who also has Verizon when I am in North Carolina. I can send her picture messages from NC but everytime I try to send her a text I get a message saying "text not sent". I can receive messages from her but cannot send them. I don't have any problem when I am at home in Virginia but in North Carolina it won't send my messages. I don't think it is a problem with my plan or coverage bc I can send messages to everyone else in my phonebook, she is the only person that my phone won't send them too. It makes no sense to me. HELP!!!!!

I am also having issues with my Droid Ultra. I get some messages from my wife, while others do not come through.I can verify this by looking at her phone. This has been happening past few days. I also have noticed that a pop up stating that messaging suddenly has stopped working. Please advise!
    System Version = 19.6.3.obake_version.Verizon.en.US

No matter what size the video is, it says that the video is to large and I can't send it.  What's going on with that???

    Hi lewabug,
Please ensure that your video is saved on your device and not on your SD card memory. Then follow the instructions below:
Send a video from device memory
From a home screen, select App menu (located in the lower right).
    Select Gallery.
Select a gallery (e.g. All videos).
    Select and hold a video.
    Select Share.

  • IPhoto 6.06 won't send videos to Quicktime Player 10.1

    Good Morning,
iPhoto 6.06 on an iMac running 10.7.4.  Videos won't open in Quicktime Player 10.1 from iPhoto, but when I drag them to Quicktime they will opne and play.  I can't find any preferences in iPhoto to set what application is being used to play the videos.
What do I do next?  (aside from upgrade iPhoto, my grandma doesn't want to do that)
    Thanks,
    Phillip

You need to install Quicktime Player 7.  It can be done from the Lion install package via a custom install or from here: QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later

  • Droid X Won't send Qwest e-mail

I'm using Qwest DSL with a q.com domain. I can receive email on my Droid X just fine, but can't send. All the settings are per the Qwest website instructions, and of course, Qwest is no help.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Hello rmazzoni,
With your email ending in q.com the settings provided by Qwest are as followed:
    Username: Full email address
    Password: Password (case sensitive)
POP3 Incoming Server: mail.q.com, port 110 for unencrypted, port 995 for SSL encrypted
IMAP* Incoming Server: mail.q.com, port 143 for unencrypted, port 993 for SSL encrypted
Outgoing Server: smtp.q.com, port 587, TLS (optional), requires authentication, use same settings as my incoming mail server. Webmail: https://www.myqwest.com/login/
You can also try changing the outgoing port to 25 and if there is an area that asks for the provider make sure it says Qwest.  Thank you.

  • Droid X won't send email

Where I work, the outgoing server uses TLS security setting instead of SSL.  It would appear that the X does not like this and won't let me send any emails from it.  Any work arounds for this would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem with one of my email accounts.  I can recieve email just fine, but I am unable to send because the Outgoing server uses TLS.  There should be an option to change to TLS.  I have tried changing  the outgoing mail server to mail.MCHSI.com, and rebooted the phone but as I expected it did not work.  I also tried going through some local isp's that allow relay.  Any other input or suggested fix on this would be great.

  • Droid Turbo won't turn on

Plugged my phone into the charger  last night and woke up this morning and it won't turn on. I plugfed it into the turbocharger this morning and let it charge a bit and it still won't turn on.  Anyone have any ideas?

Try clearing the cache and see if that helps:
    Clear Cache Partition
Sorry ... I just re-read your post and it looks like you've already tried that, right?

  • Mail won't send video attachment

Ok...just got a new MBP. I have not had any problem with this happening until now. I download home movies (short clips, like 1 minute) into IPhoto. I open up mail & drag the movie into mail as an attachment. When I hit send, it never goes just stays in the outbox. Eventually, a message will come up that it cannot be sent.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Cue,
maybe the message that comes up in exact words might help ? I see no reason why it should not work.

  • Droid turbo unable to send or recieve text messages over wifi

all of a sudden this past week I have not been able to send text messages over wifi, has not been a problem in the past with any phone I have had. Anyone else having this problem, I have a 64g and 32g in the house and both have the same problem sometimes a reboot works but only for a few minutes if at all. I then have to turn off wifi and reboot the phone to send text or I have to actually type the text again and send. very annoying.

        Hellboy,
That's a very annoying issue indeed! We'll help figure out why this is happening and how to fix it for you. I was wondering about a few things. Are you using the messaging app that came preinstalled on the phone or one that was downloaded from the PlayStore? If it was downloaded, which app are you using? Also, does this primarily happen with longer text messages or messages containing pictures? Receiving texts is working just fine, right?

  • Latitude E7450 won't send video through dock

Updated a driver, and now the laptop no longer recognizes/outputs any video to external monitors through the dock (previously working). Tried another dock and monitor to no avail. I am able to connect the monitor directly to the laptop, and that works, but it will not output through the dock. Tried HDMI, displayport, and VGA.
BIOS is up to date, and latest video driver. Any thoughts?

Also having this problem with a Latitude E7450 on company laptop (Service Tag:  DM9YN32) that belongs to one of our Exec VP's.   We've actually had several problems with this laptop direct from factory which required us to replace both the motherboard & the WLAN.
As of now, this laptop currently has the latest  video driver and hub drivers installed for this mode (which I listed below)  This laptop is docked with two external monitors running both in DVI to the port replicator. Our team has replaced the port replicator, tried different monitors, tried different monitor cables (IE: both DVI & VGA), and also replaced the power adapter.    Historically the monitors would flicker back and forth on and off.  If we disconnect one monitor then it works fine.  But running duel monitors the problem comes back with one or both monitors flickering on and off.  After I installed the HUB firmware update, the problem appeared to have gone away for a couple hours but then came back where the primary monitor shut off for a few seconds.
NOTE:  I realize that there is also a NVIDIA driver for this model of laptop but in this case this driver is not compatible with his laptop so obviously the nvidia GPU chipset is not on this laptop.
Drivers currently installed as of 4/9/2015.

  • Sending videos on Note 3

Is there a trick to sending videos? Every time my husband (he has the S5) or I try, even if the video is only 5 seconds long, it says it cannot send because the file is too large. I had the same problem on my Note 2.

see page 3 of this thread:
    Droid Turbo won't send videos!!!
there are options, but yes....even a 5 second high quality video is too large.

Within the camera, before you record your video, go into settings and make sure you have the video length and quality set to the "for MMS" settings. Are you taking these steps below to send a video through text?

    Touch and hold a video.
    Touch Share.

    If presented, touch Yes.
    To resize, touch Menu.
    Touch Resize.
Touch one of the following options then touch OK:
    176x144
    320x240
    Touch Menu.
    Touch Done.
    Touch No.
From the To field, enter a 10-digit mobile number .
As the number is entered, a matching contact may appear and can be selected at any time.
Alternately, touch the contacts icon (located on the right-side of the To field), touch a contact, touch the appropriate mobile number then touch OK.
Repeat this step as necessary to add additional recipients.
