Droid X Answer phone and not hear anything. Need Help ASAP!!!

So last night I got a call and i went to answer it and it sounded as if I hadnt answered it at all, I could hear nothing. This has happened before and all I have to do is restart my phone and its usually fixed. The one thing different about this call is when the person called back they said that they had heard someone else on the phone, which has never happened before. I am in dire need of a way to fix this because this little slip up is about to cost me my relationship. I need to know if there is any possible explination to what happened, any help is appreciated thank you.

it seems like apple's activation servers have gone down under the weight of the overwhelming amount of activation requests. you will be able to activate your phone once the servers are able to catch up with the activation requests.

Making phone calls and not hearing anything

Anyone else having this issue? I call my wife, same RAZR Maxx phone, and sometimes I hear her ringback tone, and sometimes I do not. And she has the same issue on her end. Only been since the Crappy Bean update.

I've been having the same issue for days now, it seems like the problem just cropped up over a few days, progressively getting worse. See if Siri can simply dial a number : "Siri, dial 555-555-5555"
If that works, as it did for me, I thought "maybe my contact interface with Siri is screwed up." So I turned of Contacts under Settings -> iCloud. When the phone asks you to keep or delete the contacts on your phone, click Delete Contacts. Don't worry they're still in iCloud. This could take a few seconds.
Then turn Contacts back on under Settings -> iCloud. Click Merge when prompted.
Next go into Settings -> Siri -> My Info and select *your* contact info to tell Siri who you are.
Then try asking Siri to call someone.

Problems sending and receiving texts, please need help ASAP!

So for the past few days I have had trouble receiving texts on my Samsung Intensity II. I can send them just fine but when receiving them they are either very very late or they dont show up at all. Why is this? What should I do to fix it?
Here are the questions I need answered:
1. How do I improve this and start being able to receive texts again? I havent been able to receive any texts for the last few hours.
2. I dialed *228 and chose option 2 to update my roaming thinking it might help but it didnt. I can still send text messages but havent received any. All it did was remove the Verizon Wireless banner from the top of my phone. Is this bad? I sort of want that back..is it bad that its missing? Does it mean *228 was detrimental to my phone? How do I get the banner back?
3. Lastly, is there a way to possibly reset my phone and fix this problem WITHOUT deleting my texts and photos?
I really need some help with this ASAP. I'm in a long distance relationship that requires the use of my phone quite a bit and its irritating not to be able to really use it.

Now, I was going through settings, checking on things. Went to phone settings and then NAM settings, my phone was set to NAM 1. I didn't change it but instead accidentally pressed down on the already selected NAM 1. Now I cant even send messages because it cant authenticate the network! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!
I have tried restarting the phone, removing the battery pack and now I am having more trouble than ever before, since the NAM restart I havent been able to send or receive anything with my phone and I am extremely frustrated at this point. HELP PLEASE!
Edit: Seemed to have fixed the NAM issue, I am no longer getting the network authentication failed message when I try to send messages. I can send again but still can no longer receive...help?

If you didn't already do so, try uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components (not just iTunes and AMDS), then reinstall iTunes, as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925. Follow the article and uninstall them in the order indicated.

Windows 7 and Bonjour--Printer issue--Need Help ASAP, Please!

Okay, add my name to the growing list of people with Windows 7 issues. (Actually, add my wife's name. I have a Mac, and I'm glad I do.)
Anyway--she has a new HP laptop with Windows 7 preloaded. We use Airport Express as a wireless router for our 5 year old HP PSC 1350 all in one printer, requiring the use of Bonjour 1.0.6 on her new laptop to print wirelessly. Except it is only printing about 2/3's of a page and quitting. This also fouls up the printing que, meaning nothing else will print on her unit. (I have not tried printing from the Mac while her HP is AFU.)
How do I rectify this, other than taking her HP back and getting the Mac she'd be happier with?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, as she's in school and needs to print a lot of papers.

There has been no satisfactory answer to this. So, no, my question isn't really answered.
Instead, we bought a new wireless printer, and I removed Bonjour and AirPort from her Windoze 7 unit.
I'm not so thrilled, but she's happy. And if she's happy, it's okay.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Mac Os x keeps freezing qhen i log in. cant back it up or move anything. need help ASAP? :(

My apple starts up fine...tells me to log in..nothing wrong...I do but the loading screen takes longer than usual. I get to the home screen and it loads everything slowly...I can open One thing and it starts to freeze and gives me the rainbow spinning ball of doom....and won't go away and I can't quit or anything..it's just stuck on that until I force shut down my computer. I can't even back it up! I have heaps of important files on there. S.O.S! Help me. I need to figure it out to get some things done.

Since your Mac only starts to behave like this once you log in, there may be some startup or boot processes that are slowing your computer down to a crawl. For starters, I'd like you to try and boot your Mac into Safe Mode by following the information in the article below. Let me know what the outcome is regardless.

First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.
