Droid X showing 3 different times at once

Droid x displays 3 different times simultaneously.   At this moment the lock screen show 9:23 pm the digital clock widget on my home page shows 10:25 pm and the small clock in upper right show 10:21
I've tried rebooting both with and without auto update turned on
It is unpredictable when my alarm will go off and I have lots of times too choose from to get someplace on time...
Should mention that this past weekend (during DST) I traveled from MA to NS Canada.  But have traveled to Nova Scotia many times without having this issue.
how do I fix?
Wayne

Oh no, WayneL!  That's not good.
I would like to help.
Just as bearone21 mentioned, this can be application related as well as location related.  What zip code are you located in?  Have you downloaded any particular Clock widgets?  If so, remove the widget and see if the time shows correct.  Also, let me suggest you power off the device and remove the battery for approximately 30-60 seconds, then once powered back on reprogram by dialing *228 and select Option 1.  Once reprogrammed, see if the time displays correctly.
Let me know the results of your testing so I see if we need to further troubleshoot.
Thanks,

  • Objects to show at different times on a slide not showing up

    Hi  Everyone,
    I hope this problem is minor and that I’m just missing a small step but here it goes…
    I’m using Captivate 4 and I’ve only been using it on one particular computer. I updated a captivate project that I’ve been working on since September and I’ve finished all the edits (added a picture, changed a few words) as requested by colleauges when all of a sudden, some objects that were suppose to show at different times on the slide were not showing up at all. The frustrating part is I actually finished the project! When I do a preview within the edit view, the objects appear as it should, however, when I publish it or do a preview on wepage, the objects are not appearing at all (ie a word at 10 sec, another at 20 sec). Anway, there were only 3 slides acting like this, all with objects are suppose to show up at different times on the slide (these were not the slides that I recently edited). My video works fine, my quiz works fine, and I’ve uploaded an initial version of my work on a Pathlore LMS with no problems (publish specs: flash 8, AS2).
    I have several other projects that are less complicated (ie no video, no objects showing at different times within the slide) and they are OK. I’ve checked on other computers and same problem.
    I tried deleting the slides, and redoing it again within the same project but still wont work I tried copying everthing on a new project with the same size with no luck.
    I tried making a 2 slide project with objects showing up at different times and it works.
    Is my project corrupted in some way? What are the possible culprits for this problem?
    I really hope I don’t have to start from scratch…
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there
    While it's certainly possible that the project has somehow become corrupt, you might find that simply closing and restarting Captivate changes things.
    Have you tried that? I've seen it where bits and pieces are suddenly missing. After I restarted, things were just fine again.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Alert Log time showing a different time

    Hi,
    Our Oracle 10g database is hosted on HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64 server. Recently after Rebooting the server
    we noticed the time in the alert.log and the time in the server is entirely different.
    when we queried the date in the database and in the server it shows the same time, but the alert.log is giving
    the different time.
    Whether anyone experienced this sort of problem and plz share how you rectified it

    "When you query the time from database say select sysdate from dual, it is taken from system time"
    It is a bit more complicated.
    When you use the BEQueath protocol, the time is taken from the system clock, modified by the TZ variable for your session.
    When you connect using the listener, the time is taken from the listener, modified by the TZ variable for the listener session.
    When you are on RAC, the listener inherits the time from the global services daemon, modified by the TZ variable for the global services daemon.
    I had to investigate this, as Oracle 9i doesn't understand the M3.5-M10:4 syntax I need to make sure the summertime switches on the Europan moment.

  • When i set a event on my mac it shows a different time on my iphone

    what is the solution, event time set on my imac, say 8am shows on my iphone cal as 4pm?

    See if this quote from this page helps:
    'Turn on Calendar time zone support
    Choose General > Date & Time and turn Time Zone Support on. WhenTime Zone Support is on, Calendar displays event dates and times in the time zone set for your calendars. When Time Zone Support is off, Calendar displays events in the time zone of your current location.'
    I don't have an iPhone to check but the implication seems to be that there is a separate setting for the calendar itself.

  • Different times on two iPhones 4s

    My wife and I have two iPhone 4s' on Verizon.  We live in Phoenix, which never moves its time.  Our phones each show a different time.  Aren't the times linked to the cell towers?  Any idea as to what gives.

    Try restore from backuo using iTunes.
    If no joy, restore as new without the backupand sync manually
    If the problem persist, talk to you carrier.

  • Different times showing for an event

    I received in invite from someone who is one hour behind me. He sent me a test invite ("Fake 2") for 10am my time, which is 9am his time.
    In the Calender, the time is shown correctly, but when I click on it, it shows his time zone. Why is that? Why won't it show the time of the meeting in my time zone? Note that on my iPad, I see 10am in both cases.
    This looks like this has something to do with the "Turn on time zone support" preference. However, I'd like to be able to use that function to change times if I want to set my Calendar to different time zones I'm visiting but see the actual time of the event in my time zone when I click it. If not, it can be a bit confusing to see two sets of times.
    What am I missing?
    Thanks,
    Tony

    Dispatching event from any component by either by using this or simply without this
    can not be listen by each and every componet of the application,depends upon where you have write addListner. Check Event life cycle
    in the flex. While if you are using the system manager for dispatching the event and
    also for listenting the event so in that case you will always listen the event.
    You can visit this link for making it simple to use and understand.By this way you can always listen your event
    inside any component in your application.

  • Why do my MacAir and iPhone show different times?

    I have a MacAir running OSX Yosemite. I also have an iPhone 6. I get both to update the times shown on their clocks automatically. Last month, there was a 2 minute difference between the two; now there is a 3 minute difference. (the MacAir is always ahead) This might sound like a tiny issue but I use my MacAir for presentations and have my phone showing the time fullscreen too - to ensure I keep exactly to time. So it's quite off-putting to have two different times showing.
    Any idea how I can get them in synch with each other?
    Many thanks!

  • My msgs in inbox shows the different received time

    whenever i get a msg and i open it .it shows the different received time.it is far behind the original time been set in the mobile. is there any settings that i could change it.the mobile model is nokia 2700 classic and i bought it just two days before. it is happening for all the msg by different people.is there any  solution for this? is there any settings i could change to get the right timing?. i highly depend on the received timing since i could not get when exactly the people sent msg to me.help me with this?

    The time stamp in received msg is actually the time on which that msg was sent. so it won't be current time on phone. For example, a person sends you a text on 5:00PM and you u receive that on 6:00PM, now the time on ur phone is 6:00PM but the time in received text would be 5:00PM.
    Hope this helps.

  • Icloud calender shows different time on my cell phone.

    When I add an appointment to my icloud calendar on my computer, it shows a one hour difference on my cell phone.  How do I make them both show the same time.?

    Go to icloud.com, sign into your iCloud account, click your name at the top and choose Account Settings, click Time Zone and be sure it shows the correct time zone and that you have selected a city near you.  Then open your calendar on icloud.com, click the gear-shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, click the Advanced tab and make sure you have not checked time zone support at the top.
    Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Time Zone Support (in the Calendars section) on your phone and make sure this is set to Off.  If you have a Mac, open the calendar and to to Mail>Preferences>Advances and uncheck “Turn on time zone support”.

  • Preview in Browser and Adobe Browser Lab show website differently? Please help

    Hi...working on my first website and I have a question about the differences in viewing the site through
    choosing file...preview in browser....
    from within Dreamweaver, and using the Adobe Browser Lab to view the website.
    There seems to be a very significant difference between the two. When I preview firefox from within dreamweaver, my site is just how I want it.
    When I go to browser lab, it is...well... a disaster.
    I'm attaching screenshots of the two as well as my code, so it can show how different they are. Here is a screenshot of the website as it looks when I use the preview in browser function from within dreamweaver to view it in firefox. This is how I'd like it to look.
    And here is a screenshot of what it looks like when I preview it in Adobe Browser Lab in Firefox.
    The quote is underneath the logo, the left div text is flowing over the center div, the nav bar graphics are too narrow, the photo is hanging outside the div it should be contained in. Not what I want.
    Does anyone have any insight into how I would fix this or which version is correct?
    I'm stumped. This is my first website: shouldn't these two things be similar? And which one is correct?
    and here is my code:

    1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements within these divs have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.
    2) No margin has been given to the columns since they are all floated. If you must add margin, avoid placing it on the side you're floating toward (for example: a right margin on a div set to float right). Many times, padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule must be broken, you should add a "display:inline" declaration to the div's rule to tame a bug where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.
    3) Since classes can be used multiple times in a document (and an element can also have multiple classes applied), the columns have been assigned class names instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar divs could be stacked if necessary. These can very easily be changed to IDs if that's your preference, as long as you'll only be using them once per document.
    4) If you prefer your nav on the right instead of the left, simply float these columns the opposite direction (all right instead of all left) and they'll render in reverse order. There's no need to move the divs around in the HTML source.

    Thanks for your help.

    You are using % widths for your layout which means it will look different depending of the size of each users monitor. Although this is probably the better way to go these days, it is not one size fits all and will work more effectively if you include min and max widths, and also media queries that change your layout depending on the monitor size. This is more advanced coding and will take time if you want to do that. Alternatively, you could design using pixel widths and have it look consistent across all desktop browsers and throw a few media queries in for the mobile side.

  • Multiple links with same css style applied... showing up different on site

    Hi,
    I have applied the same CSS style, biolinks, to all of the links to peoples biographys on this page, but for some reason, they all show up different on the site? Why? Help!
    http://www.healthdimensionsgroup.com/our_team_management.html

    No... you have different styles on the two pages.
    There is a "biolink" class applied to the Span on the second page that isn't applied to any links on the first.
    That and the missing class on LYNN PETERSON are the only differences I see right off.
    See the differences here?
    <td width="561" align="left" valign="top" class="biolink"><a href="team/sergei-shvetzoff.html" title="Sergei Shvetzoff" class="biolink"><Span class="biolink">SERGEI SHVETZOFF</Span></a></td>  (second page - 3 applications of "biolink" class) vs.
    <td width="515" align="left" valign="top" class="biolink"><a href="team/karyn-price.html" title="Karyn Price"class="biolink"><Span>KARYN PRICE</Span></a></td> ( first page - two applications of "biolink" class) vs.
    <td width="515" align="left" valign="top" class="biolink"><a href="team/lynn-peterson.html" title="Lynn Peterson">LYNN PETERSON</a></td> (first page - one application of "biolink" class)
    three different styles once the browser interprets them… any browser.
    Also:
    biolink {
        font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
        color: #CBB677;
        text-decoration: none;
    a.biolink:hover {
        color: #EBE3CB;
        font-size: 18px;
        font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
        text-decoration: none;
    .biolink {
        color: #CBB677;
        font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
        font-size: 18px;
        text-decoration: none;
    is redundant in your application of it with the same class applied to the td, the link and the span…
    use:
    td a.biolink {
        font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
        color: #CBB677;
         font-size: 18px;
        text-decoration: none;
    td a.biolink:hover {
        color: #EBE3CB;
        font-size: 18px;
        font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
        text-decoration: none;
    and ONLY apply the "biolink" class to the link <a href>, nowhere else.

  • Artists show up multiple times in Artist listing

    When I get a listing of songs by artist on my iPhone, some artists show up multiple times in the list. It's not that way on my computer. For instance, Death Cab for Cutie shows up twice, with different albums listed with each. However, some albums show up in both listings, but each with only partial selections of the songs on that album. So the first instance of DCC has album 1 with tracks 1-4 of the album and the second instance of DCC has album 1 with tracks 5-11.
    I went so far as to highlight all my DCC songs on iTunes on my computer and pasted DCC into the Artist line of each song and then re-syncing. No change.
    Any clues?

    Just wanted to add to this problem. I'm having the problem with Death Cab for Cutie and Kings of Leon. They show up twice on the artist list on my iPhone, but only once on my computer.
    My biggest concern is that it's taking up twice the space on my phone.
    If anyone has a solution to this it would be great!
    Thanks.

  • Podcasts show up three times after sync

    This is a weird sync issue.
    Most of my groups of podcasts sync with no issue.
    I have one series, a nice group from Layers TV, that shows up three times in the podcast page. I delete manually in iTunes, re-sync just the series I want, but on the podcast page there appears three icons for the series each with the same menus list of podcasts. It's the only series that does this. I don't have multiples or repeats in iTunes or in the library.
    It only adds them once to the iPad, so they're not copied multiple times. It's just three separate icons containing the same list of podcasts. Maybe these are different keyframes so they're listed as separate?
    I have no idea how to fix this.
    Thanks for any ideas.
    John

    There is one icon with podcasts 80-113. There are three icons each with menu lists for podcasts 116-134. (114 and 115 do not exist). They are not tripled on the iPad, the podcast count is correct.
    It sounds like the podcasts have different information in iTunes. The podcast producer could have changed something in the tags. Try selecting podcast 113> click File> Get Info. Then Get Info on podcast 116 and find out what tags are not the same. They should have the same artist, album, genre, ect. Then change the information to match the latest podcast(probably correct going forward), so they group up in iTunes.
    You can also try selecting the entire group of podcasts in iTunes(80-134) and then Getting Info on all of the selected podcasts. Then Enter the correct information and check the box next to the field, to change all of the podcasts tags.

  • How many times can I download Quick Time Pro once I purchased it?

    Last September I purched my update to Quick Time Pro. Now I bought a new Computer and re-formatted the old one, not being able to copy Quick Time Pro from the old to the new computer. Therefore I wanted to download again Quick Time Pro: In the settings window I introduced my program key and then "accepted". It said "Quick Time pro" below the registration line; however, the "apply" buttom was not operative. I checked and my Quick Time version was still "Quick Time 7", not Pro. My question is: how many times can I download Quick Time Pro once I purched it? If I can download it more often than once, how do I proceed? Thank you for your help.

    I started this thread:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2454706&tstart=0
    but I'm afraid it's so involved that thus far, nobody has "touched" it.
    However, PART of my problem is similar to THIS person's.
    My problem is that I have QT on two different drives in one computer; the one I paid for [QT Pro?] and one I got for free; QT7. I fear the free QT7 might have "interfered" with my "Pro".
    So, taking your advice above, looking in the "Help" "About" menu, I find that BOTH of mine another "offer" above the word "About"; they suggest that I "Purchase QT Pro"...... so now, if BOTH of my QT's say THAT, then may I conclude that I do NOT have the Pro version? I'm meaning to say that if I already HAVE the Pro, they wouldn't suggest that I go and "Buy QT Pro".... right? Is this a safe conclusion? for ya'll that HAVE the Pro, and KNOW it, does it suggest to you that you could go and "purchase QT Pro"?
    Thanks,
    LarryR : )
