Droid X2 not loading Android Market

Hello all,
I just received my second Droid X2 today. It will not load the droid market. It says error 404.
Can anyone help me? Thank you for your time.
Ern

Let's get those downloads working swenviking! When was the last time you were able to successfully download an application? Do you get the error with any/ every application? Please try clearing memory: http://bit.ly/OnxYbh then restart phone. When back on, try accessing Market again and download application. Please keep us posted if this helps.
Thank you,

  • CNBC does not load stock market indexes

I can not get the CNBC site to load stock market indexes after installing Safari 5.1. The exact same CNBC URLs using Safari on my iPad2 work fine along with the CNBC iPad app.  I realize that the iPad Safari browser is differnt than the SL version.  I submitted a problem record to customer care on CNBC and have provided the same problem description. The only change I made to Safari 5.1 is adding Click to flash 2.3.1 because the old version of click to flash is not supported by the new Safari version...any suggestions? thanks a lot.

Java was already enabled, I am running OS X 10.6.8 and I update SW regularly and automatically that is how Safari 5.1 was installed last week. I do not have an ad-blocker installed. I just have pop up windows blocked checked  as in previous Safari releases... I only have the Click to Flash extension newly installed when the new Safari was installed and the old click to flash is not supported.
The links are http://www.cnbc.com/id/15839285  and http://www.cnbc.com/id/17689937..
Thanks in advance...My next step would be to uninstall the Click to Flash extension...
    Please advise..thanks for the help!!

  • Android Market not loading on my Idea Pad K1

    Hello,
When I launch the Android market I get a message that "Your client is out of date. It will be automatically updated shortly". It has not , further more I am unable to update or download any other apps from Google. I looked into this with Google and they are indeed haiving an issue but they say it should be resloved. Their web site says if you need immediate updates you should reset the tablet (WHICH IS NOT AN OPTION) for me for a whole bunch of reasons, the primary reason is that LE Tools does NOT provide a complete back up.
Is there another soft rest option>
    Thanks!

I'm sure you've tried this, but just in case:
Mine didn't autoupdate but I was able to force all my Google stuff to update by opening Market, then clicking on My Apps in upper right, then scrolling down the list of each app and clicking on update.

  • Not finding Mozilla Firefox in android market place and site not found thru default browser either Feb. 11, 2011

I want to install Firefox on my htc droid. I searched market place; not found. When I use default browser on the phone (google) and type in url as instructed on website, I get site not found.

Firefox cannot be downloaded from the Android Market on phones with incompatible processors. For more information, and to check your phone's compatibility, see:

  • Adobe Air is NOT at the android market

Hi, I'm having big problems when trying to install adobe air for android.
It's not at the android market. I tried scanning a bar code, searching with the phone, downloading an Air app that directs you to the market and searching in my pc in google, but all the links go to the same place: no Air.
I also tried installing the apk that comes with the Air SDK but it tells me that I have an older version of something.
Does anyone have any idea of what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance, I'm quite desperate, I have a Motorola Droid and some games to make!

The Android Market only shows applications that are compatible with your phone. I don't know the history of the Droid, is it possible that you have an older version that doesn't meet the minimum system requirements?

i have a htc wildfire, and if i try to install firefox from android market place it says that my device is not compatible with firefox. how can i install it ?

According to a random website... the HTC Wildfire S uses a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. This processor unfortunately does not support the full ARM version 7 instruction set, so Firefox cannot run on it.

  • Is there a way to not load images in safari? Like on android you can tick a box to load images or no to the internet?

Is there a way to not load images in safari on ios 7 like in android there is
The option to load or not load images?

My reply here was specific for this thread, but as you noted, I didn´t read careful enough. I wrongfully took for granted that issues in the More Like This box was platform dependent. I tried to apolgize accordingly, I would like to see the post deleted, but that doesn´t stop you from policing obviously.
And instead of arrogantly replying about matters irrelevant for this thread, maybe you should start reading more carefully yourself. The posts you are referring to are related to large images failing to load properly in Safari 7. This is not as you claim "vaguely related". Take this elsewhere if you have a problem with it.
Again, sorry for messing up the thread.

  • Pdf urls not loading in Android on 32 viewer

    Hi,
PDFs in HTML Resources link and download fine into Reader on Droid from the new 32 viewer, but links to pdfs online only produce a blank screen. It does not prompt you to download/view it anywhere. The same pdf url works fine when viewed on the native Droid browser. This is currently being tested on a 27 folio in a 32 viewer on a Samsung Galaxy Note on Android 4.1.2.

I've been testing PDF's on the Android Nexus 7, v32. Same thing.
However, it depends on whether you are using the Legacy Adobe Content Viewer or the Regular Adobe Content Viewer. For the Legacy there is a little arrow on the bottom right corner of the blank screen and it will prompt what app you want to use to open the PDF. For the Regular Adobe Content Viewer, you have to press the little globe on the top right corner, and it will prompt what application you want or forward you to the remembered app that opens PDFs..
There seems to be an issue previewing PDFs within the Adobe Content Viewer app itself, so you need to go outside the app to view it - at least you can press the return button to get back to your content viewer.
What I would like to see is a quick-fix where it automatically forwards you to the program you have selected as "remember" or "always use this application for similar files" or something - idk how that works. As of this moment you need to inform your viewers telling them that they need to press this button or that, so they aren't lost.
This is what I learned just yesterday, although on the iPad they show up instantly, no blank screen.

  • I can't download fire fox browser in my android 2.1 device . It is not present in market. WHAT TO DO ????? Plz help !!!

I have samsung galaxy 5. Every time I re directed by mozilla to the android market, it is not found.

The phone uses an ARMv6 cpu. Firefox Mobile releases support ARMv7 cpus.
You can try the experimental ARMv6 build at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#ARMv6_.28experimental.29 there are no guarantees about the quality of this build.

  • There are some mobile websites that do not load correctly on my Android phone in firefox.

I have a website that the mobile version will not load correctly on my phone: http://m.fabulousfox.com/. It is not that big of an inconvience since I can load the desktop version and that works fine, but I thought you could take a look at the site and see what the issue is. I have a SGS3 running Android 4.1.1 and Firefox 18. On the mobile site all I get is the title header and a blank page. The page does show up in chrome correctly.

May be the site don't have the Mobile version of their website.
Please create a screenshot of the problem you're seeing by following the guide mentioned at [[How do I create a screenshot of my problem?]].

  • Download in the Android Market is not working Samsung Captivate

When trying to download in the market it says it is not found.

This problem appears to be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update and we continue to investigate the cause. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose Uninstall you can uninstall the update and then you should be able to search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.
Or, you can check if your phone is supported here:
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
and then download the app directly from here:
    http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/4.0b3/android-r7/multi/
(Note: If your phone is from AT&T, you will have to search for instructions on "sideloading" the APK file, since AT&T disables the option to install from non-Market sources.)

  • Firefox ftp download is not available? Where can I download latest version outside the Android market?

The ftp only provides 701 and 806beta but not the final release, please update, since there are still users out there with Android Market access like me on Toshiba AC 100.
    Thanks Frank

At teh following link you can have all versions build up by Mozilla: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/
You have nightly (birch+aurora+nightly ), release candidates (beta) final versions :)
    Enjoy!

  • Won't load on Skytex alpha with 2.3? Non Android market site to load?

I have a Skytex alpha pad running 2.3.3. Went to your /m site & tried to load firefox - no joy.
Is there a non-android market where firefox mobile can be downloaded?

It appears to have a Freescale i.MX515 which is a ARMv7 and 512mb Ram.
So in theory it can run the mobile Firefox.
You can try installing and updating it manually.

I can not install the firefox for android from the android market. It is showing me that the app is incompatible with my device and no other information is provided. I am not sure whats the problem with that ! Is it incompatible with the device or the android version ?
Mine is LG P500 with version Froyo 2.2.2. Any help ?
I was waiting to surf web with firefox from my phone for a long time. can anyone please let me know any known solution to it.

The mobile version of Firefox for Android requires a processor that supports the ARMv7 architecture, the LG Optimus P500 does not meet that requirement, it supports the ARMv6 architecture.
