DroidX vs iPhone 4

Question

Currently have the iphone 4 but NOT happy with it. Dropped calls, fading out calls, incoming calls not ringing audible or vibrating mode but going directly to my voice mail. All the problems listed have been severe for my wife and I in the past two weeks. Also, we are not happy with AT&T service as many areas have NO signal to communicate. We had Verizon for many years but changed to AT&T because we wanted the new iphone 4 but what a mistake.
We are planning on returning the iphone 4 before our 30 day agreement expires for a full refund.
However, we are now interested in the new Droid X and yesterday we went to a Verizon store in Alexandria, VA and the sales lady was "horrible" with her sales information on this new phone. Once we entered the store, she approached us and asked if she could help us. We said we have the new iphone 4 and plan to return it. We are now interested in learning about the new Droid X. She replied "What would you like to know?  Geez, lady, can you pleeeeeze try and make a sale here!
Anyways, she started talking to us with her heavy accent which we couldn't hardly undestand what she was saying and then she mentioned "three things" about the Droid X and asked if we had any questions??? That was her completed sales knowledge pitch!!!
Today, we plan to go one more time to another Verizon store and hope we can find a better, more knowledgeable sales person that can tell us about this phone that we would love to learn about and most likely purchase three (3) phones for our family.
Anyone want to tell me about this new phone, we'd love to hear any information you would like to provide to us.

it does just about ANYTHING you could possibly want a device to do. if it doesn't do it with the android OS then there is an app that will do it. the biggest unresolved issue that i've seen is that there is no true hands free calling with bluetooth. this is supposed to be fixed with the 2.2 (froyo) update, which should be coming in about a month. but for now, you have to touch the phone to make a call....even with bluetooth activated. there are a FEW vehicles with stock bluetooth systems that android works with. but for the most part, you have to touch the phone to call. there wil also be a learning curve with this device. these are unlike iphones in the sense that they are completely customizable and your moto X may look and run nothing like someone who has had it for a while and installed a different texting app, keyboards, browser, homepage launcher, etc. Also, keep in mind that apple makes ONE phone so when you go into an apple store i would expect a rep to know it inside and out. verizon carries close to a dozen brands, all with multiple models. there is just NO way for the reps to know everything about their devices. so you will rely on forums like this one and the many other android forums on the web to trouble shoot and learn how to use it. i never had a smart phone until a couple months ago (i have the htc incredible...but the moto X can do the same things....and more) and now i just tell (speak) my phone where i want to go, what i want to find, what i want to text, etc....and it does it for me.

here's a head to head comp. keep in mind though, that where the iphone came out ahead (data speed, call quality, etc) in this test is, in my opinion, a rarity....because we all know about at&t's coverage. the most important thing to know about the moto x is that when you need to make a call, you can!!!
