Drop caller from conference call using Agent Desktop

Is there any way to drop a caller from a conference call using the Agent Desktop like we can do with the ConfList on the physical phone?

I need to Customize CTIOS Agent Desktop for the Screen POP-UP, where is Customer ID and Customer Address etc should be populated in CTIOS Agent Desktop. Use the Call.PeripheralVariableX (X could equal 1-10). The call leaves the IVR and you pass the CED to ICM, ICM looks at this CED and puts it in a peripheral variable (PV for short). These 10 PVs are past on to the desktop once a call is received, they are part of the call context and travel with the call.

Yes, you should make an RFC function in ERP and inside the
function you can call the report with a SUBMIT. Then in CRM you can call the RFC function...

Note 4 - Calling waiting/conference call issues

Is this a defect in the new note? I am in able to end calls when answering a call (i.e. call waiting/conference calls). The other person can hang up but my phone will still say they are on hold. Which on turns holds up my free line.
I find this rather annoying. Will this problem be corrected in an update?

Lync Client uses wrong RTP Ports for calls from/to RGS with Agent Anonymity

We have QoS implemented and client ports for audio, video und application defined by Set-CsConferencingConfiguration. We also use firewalls in our LAN between the different VLANs for Clients, Servers and Gateways/SBC. Only RTP from the client with the defined
ports are allowed by the firewall. Media ByPass is enabled.
In all normal cases, the right ports will be used and marked by GPO with the right DSCP value. But if an agent get a call from a RGS which has agent anonymity enabled, the client uses a port in the range 1024-65535 for audio. Also if you make a call on behalf
of the RGS, the client use a random port between 1024-65535. As soon, as the source of the call is in another VLAN (e.g. a call from PSTN which comes in over a SBC in e separate VLAN), the firewall between the two VLANs block the RTP traffic.
We see the deny on the firewall log and in the SBC log we see, the reinvite for the media by pass with the IP of the agent and a not valid port. We also see, that no RTP from the client/agent will arrive the SBC and no RTP from the SBC will arrive the client/agent.
So the call will be disconnected, as soon as an agent wants accept the call.
Is there an additional setting to make sure, the Lync client always use the valid RTP port range?
This behavior exist in Lync 2010 and Lync 2013 clients.

Sure! I set all AudioPorts on all Services, but the problem are not the ports used by the server, the problem are the ports used by the client. We set the client ports to 49152 with a count of 40. The client (2013 and also 2010) use these ports correctly in all
cases exept for call from/on behalf of an RGS with Agent Anonymity.
If we disable the RGS agent anonymity, restart the client of the agent, then the client uses also the correct source ports for RTP.
I've checked this behaviour now on 3 customer installations, our own productive installation and in our lab.
Because until now only one of our customers have firewalls between the internal VLANs, only this single customer have the issues...

Starkey Halo - Disconnecting from Conference Calls?

I use my Starkey Halo i110's as my telephone headset. (It's the only way I can understand others on the phone.)
I work from home. I use our company's conference calling provider extensively; sometimes 5-6 times a day or more. Occasionally, I will get dropped from a conference call. The conference calling host sees a normal call disconnect from Verizon Wireless (my wireless provider). Their carrier (AT&T) also sees a normal call disconnect from Verizon. Verizon sees a disconnect, but upstream from them. Verizon also claims that I am at the edge of service which I would dispute. There aren't many places in Central Florida where you can avoid seeing a cell tower. I am just SE of Tampa, about 20 miles as the crow flies from the airport.
I have tested with both an iPhone 5C and 5S, both with Verizon Wireless. I have had conference calls get dropped on both phones. In 3+ years, I have had no other dropped cell calls. Only the conference calls get dropped. I have had the dropped calls with the last version (or 2?) of iOS 7 and with iOS 8.0 and iOS 8.0.2.
The problem started about when I started wearing the Halos. That's been nearly four months now and it just occurred to me today that the Halos could be a significant part of the problem (I never claimed to be smart or quick....).
Do any other iPhone & Starkey users experience any dropped calls?

I received a reply fro Starkey tech support that told me the Halos couldn't issue an "end call" command. Consequently, the problem is not with the Halos.
I am relieved.

Webservice call from WDJ component using SSO

Hi All,
I need to call a webservice from a WD Java component.
Now this is an 3rd party external WS (not an ABAP one)
That 3rd partysystem is a web based system with user accounts with password
The userid of portal is the same as the userid of the 3rd party system.
The requirement is that all WS calls from WDJ to the WS should use the individual account of the 3rd party to call the WS function... in other words not use a common service user..
So
portal login = user1/pass123
3rdpartylogin = user1/abc123
When WDJ component invokes WS method during authentication it should use 3rdparty login userid i.e. user1 to invoke method
Have any of you worked on soemthing similar ?

HT3519 How can I find who called me if I receive a call from "No Caller ID"? If there's no way to identify, why's this option provided? There's a potential risk in using this.

Why is there an option "To show/not to show your caller ID"?

What I have started doing is for calls that don't allow for caller ID, I allow them to go over to voicemail.
So far I am finding that a huge number of those calls with no caller ID refuse to leave a message on voicemail also.
I figure it they were that interesting in calling me that they can't leave a voicemail, I can't be bothered calling them back either.
It has certainly cut down on the number of phone calls I have to deal with using voicemail as a filter.

Running resports from new database using discoverer desktop

I am new here on the project and dont have much documentation avaialable. I have is just passwords.
I am new to discoverer. I see that there is one historical database names as HIPRD which has historical HR information of audit purpose(just database , no EBS apps). all users who uses HIPRD database they have user_id as database schema.
the way usres uses data from HIPRD database is either through disco desktop or they launch disco viewer. So they login in disco desktop as username/password database name untick oracle application user. once they login they see all folders where they hace access to run reports.
I created new database called TEST using cold backup set of HIPRD and i have upgraded to 11gR1. I have updated my local tnsnames.ora with TEST entry and i am able to connect TEST(11g) which has same data as it is available in HIPRD.
My question is what I have to do on disco side so that usres can run reports from upgraded 11g TEST database using disco desktop or disco viewer the way they are doing for HIPRD.
Please help, I am new to discoverer

If I buy an Online Number can multiple people phone it in order for me to create a conference call - to explain:
I have 4 people on skype, on a conference call.
1 person phones in on my Online Number, I add them to the conference call.
another person calls in on the same Online Number, can I add them as well, or will the line appear to be engaged?

Permanent calls from unknown caller named "gb.d.he...

Hello Skype Team,
I hope this finds you well.
Recently I am getting again frequent skype calls from a recipient with the ID gb.d.help. When I pick up the call I hear a recorded computer voice that tells my computer system is not safe against viruses and I should go immediately to [invalid URL] and register.
This sounds to me as a scam and I do not really know how to handle this information. Fortunately I still did not register with this service or program?! I tried to search on the internet regarding reviews on this website called helplo, yet I did not find any additional information.
Anyhow I would like to know if this is a notice from Skype sent out to users or simply an unrelated scam.

Number manipulation on the Trunk or Gateway
Number is hidden by the PSTN network itself which mean they caller has this feature for his/her number

I reinstalled Lion and now I cannot drag and drop photos from the internet to my desktop

My Macbookpro was giving me a startup disk full message so I emptied out my photo library and itunes library to an external drive. By then I think the damage was done because I was still encountering the spinning color wheel all the time. On the advice of he Genius bar I reinstalled Lion. It worked well except for this one glitch. I can no longer drag and drop photos from the internet. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
