Drop down box data is not saving in Adobe form.

Hi Experts
We are struggling in one pirticular issue to resolve. Please help me to resolve the below issue.
1. We have created the adobe form using jave script. and make some entires are dynamic.
2. We have created another drop down box having the vlaues of YES, NO. When YES there are some other drop down list and when No there are some other drop down lists.
3. The options are working fine and drop down lists are showing all the values when download the form to local PC.
4. When we try to enter the data into the drop down list and save and close it. When you re-open the form the saved data dissapering.
This is the very critical issue for us. Kindly help me to resolve this issue. If required further more information please let me know.

Make sure that you have binded a context value to default binding for drop down box.

I develoveloped many intearcative forms their look and fell is good but problem is that the data typed in the adobe form is not saved .when i save the adobe form with nevigation File -> Save as ->pdf. the file is save with new name but the filled in data is lost. You can save the filled form when you enable the form with Adobe Acrobat.

Thank you for your response. My operating system is XP. When I try to open a pfd document I just get a series of letters and symbols in a dialog box. The top of the box says "select the encoding that makes your document readable". I can choose Windows, MS-Dos, or other (there is a long list to choose from). None seem to make a difference. If I save the document to my desk top I can right click on it and choose an option "Open with AdobeReader 9" and it opens fine.

What operating system does your computer use? What happens when you attempt to open a PDF document rather than saving it first? Please include any/all error messages. Also, have you tried opening documents from other locations or just one in particular?

All field boxes are checked off in the actions tab of button properties... however when I click the reset form button I created only the data in the text fields clear, not any of the data that was selected in a drop down box. What am I doing wrong?

The "rest form" command returns the fields to their default values. If that
value is not a blank one, that's what it will return to.

My drop down box arrows do not work in firefox, yet they do in explorer. They just flicker.

Date field not retent in Adobe form - Review

Hi,
I have a date field(Last day worked) which is not bound to any data view field in SFP transaction. When the form is in a Edit mode, I select a date in Last day worked field. After I click on Click & Send option, the form is in Review mode (with field editable), the Last day worked field goes blank.
How do I save the value that I entered in Edit mode.

How do i change the backgrond color of a drop down box.

I'm creating a form which has a colored background and a drop down box with 5 choices. The problem is the font color in the drop down box is white and so is the background color of the drop down box so the selections are not visible unless you scroll over them. I would like the background of the drop down box to match the background of the form.
Also, can the font size of a selection in a drop down box be different then what is displayed. The font is set to 35 so it's huge when displayed in the drop down box. It would be nice if the selections were displayed in the drop down box in size 10 font but displayed on the form once selected as size 35.

You can set the background colour with (in formcalc):
$.fillColor = "5,5,5" // obviously changing the numbers to the RGB colour you want
or if it is not going to change just set it in Border tab under Background fill.
For the size of the font - set the dropdown box to size 10 font and then in the exit event of the dropdown list put (in formcalc):
$.font.size = "35pt"

V6 Magnifying glass search - drop down box

In versions prior to V6, I was able to search by: Artist, Song title, Group etc.. By placing the cursor over the magnifying glass search icon, a drop down box was available to provide these search filter selections. This function (i.e. the drop down box itself) does not work in V6. Anyone have a copy of V5 that I can go back to?

b noir, thanks for the reply. My searches originate in the "Music Store" page not the "Library" page. Here's an example of the functionality I lost. If you ONLY want songs with the word "RED" you now get songs with red, artists with red and albums with red. You cannot JUST get songs with the word red, you're forced to scroll through a lot of extra listings that you didn't ask for. It looks like Apple has decided to down grade the search function post version 4.9, so I'll ask if anyone has a V4.9 that I can go back to. Thanks for your help.

Hello.
I believe this is a Windows related issue, since it's the windows Save File manager we're talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help on that one, I believe. You'd expect to be able to delete the entries by simply tapping ''Delete'' on your keyboard when they are focused (that's how it goes for deleting specific form autocomplete entries in Firefox), but I haven't tried that.

Hebrew fonts from drop-down box not displaying in text box.

I am using InDesign CS 5.5 on a Mac 10.8.4.
When in ID, the fonts I am seeing on the Font dropdown menu when I try to use in a text box are not displaying correctly. They only display as boxes. The fonts are in the Hebrew language. They are properly installed in the FontBook.

Campaign Type is not available in drop down box

I want to bring a new camaign type option in drop down box in web UI. in spro i define a new Campaign type(spro-crm-marketing- marketing planning and campaign management basic function---define types/objective/tactics).
but this new capaign type is not available in web ui campaign drop down box. actually i want to create a new campaign type fund management to add fund management functioanlity in Campaign.

Thanks Lennart – I don’t think my computer could support iLife ’05 as it is running Mac OSX 10.3.2 and I’ve just been looking at its system requirements which state it requires 10.3.4 minimum – if you know differently, please let me know. As an alternative I have considered getting iLife ’04, but your comment about iLife ’05 being the first version to support external drives worried me (“iDVD 5 is the first iDVD version that officially supports external burners“ does this mean there is an unofficial option for iLife ‘04? Perhaps a patch similar to the one mentioned by Karsten), does that mean iLife ’04 would not support an external Lacie DVD writer?
What is the earliest version of Toast I’d be able to use (as a money saving option!)?

Actions not appearing in Action Drop Down Box

We are in the process of upgrading from 4.0 to 7.0, in 4.0 we have used SAP GUI as the main UI, we are due to go-live with the upgrade very soon and have a problem when creating an opportunity through to a quotation within the SAP GUI Screens, we need this to work for go-live in SAP GUI, we are however after go-live working on the NEW WEB UI
Problem:
We have set up that the Partners are determined from the opp --> Quotaion, these all work fine and transfer as expected. We also have a number of ACTIONS set up that should appear within the ACTION DROP DOWN area of the screen - these are no working in V7.0
For Example:-
Action - 'Email Quotation To Customer'
This action is set up to email lthe customer when triggered, this no longer appears. If I remove the customer and re-add them then it shows and works fine, it is acting as though the Action is not seeing the customer that is brough through from the OPP
The conditions of the action are met, it is set to look for SalesTrans.UserStatus and Partner Detimation - BOTH ARE MET but the system doesn't seem to see the PARTNER
Any help would be appreciated

The actions are defiened as follows
Action = 'Email Quotation to Customer'
The action sends an email to the customer (using partner ZQUOPAR (Quotation Partner) which is determined from the Sold-To-Party in the proceding document)
The Action is set to show in the drop down box, the Action does not show even when the Partner is listed
This works fine in V4.0 but not in V7.0

you can create a method to populate the context attribute that you are using to map to your dropdown box.
DATA: node_info TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node_info.
DATA: it_table TYPE wdr_context_attr_value_list.
** select your dropdown data into it_table and pass it to your context attribute.
** here, mine is call PROJ_TYPE - the values should appear in your dropdown.
node_info->set_attribute_value_set(
name = 'PROJ_TYPE'
value_set = it_table ).

In my Fire fox version 18.0.1 one drop down box is not expanding on click

In my registration page (http://www.complianceonline.com/ecommerce/control/registration) the drop down box for Primary Area Of Interest is not expanding. This problem is happening in some of my friend's machines. They all have windows XP with Fire fox version 18.0.1 installed in their system.
