Drop Down Boxes not Populating on the SCM business package through EP7

Hi ,
       All would greatly appreciate if any of you out there has experinced this problem
We are using the Enterprise Portal which has recently configured using https or SSL. we are using the Business package SCM 5.0.
When we use the SCM system directly and we go to any iViews we have all the drop down boxes work perfectly well . If the user selects the Value help (drop down boxes) they all show the value and then the selected value populates back to main screen. However, using the Enterprise Portal if the User goes to the SCM business Package iView the value help shows up all the value, but the value that is selected does not populate back to main screen.
Now again if we use http as opposed to https we do not have any issue.
Thanks . Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a clue, but figured I might make a suggestion. Did you touch and hold the pick box? Hope that works for ya.

    Reema,
    I followed most of your steps. I have a question reg. step 3 ie populating data in node 1.
    Here is my code:
    method WDDOINIT .
    types: begin of zs,
    zktokd type kna1-ktokd,
    end of zs.
    data: handle1 type ref to if_wd_context_node,
    begin of zstruct,
    zktokd type kna1-ktokd,
    end of zstruct,
    zitab type table of zs.
    handle1 = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'NODE1' ).
    *select ktokd into corresponding fields of zstruct from kna1.
    *append zstruct to zitab.
    *endselect.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Sold-to party'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Goods recipient'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Payer'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Bill-to party'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Prospective Customer'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Competitor'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Sales partners'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Hierarchy Node'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Named List of Accounts'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Distribution center'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    zstruct-zktokd = 'Payer'.
    append zstruct to zitab.
    handle1->bind_table( new_items = zitab ).
    endmethod.
    Please let me know if this is the best way to populate the node and then bind the table values from the node to the drop down box.
    Thanks and Regards.

  • When I want to go back a page the drop down box is filled with the current page, all earlier sites have disappered out of sight

    When I have been at a site for a while and decide to go back, when I use the drop down box it has filled with the current page location. The longer I am there the more times it repeats its self.

    Did you try Safe Mode?
    An extension may be responsible for adding up those entries of the same page.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

    Correction... that should be Safari 4.1.3
    Now it's starting to quit elsewhere, including this slow-loading site.
    Boot / Restart doesn't seem to help.
    Would simply re-installing Safari help? If so, is there any uninstall needed, or other steps to take?
    Will bookmarks be retained with a simple re-install?

  • Benefits and Payment - overview table and drop down are not populated

    Hi All,
    Overview dropdown and table are not getting populated. I have checked the flow of code in Web Dynpro
    1)Vcrem2Comp
    2) Component FcRepFramework
    Tried to check whether these values are coming from ABAP side by using
      wdcomponentapi message manager.
    Please guide
    Regards,
    Ganga

    Below is the code i am using:
        @Override
        public void start(Stage stage) throws InterruptedException {
            // create the scene
            stage.setTitle("Test");
            Pane stackPane = new Pane();
            Browser browser = new Browser();
            stackPane.getChildren().add(browser);
            Rectangle2D primaryScreenBounds = Screen.getPrimary().getVisualBounds();
            webScene = new Scene(stackPane, primaryScreenBounds.getWidth(), (primaryScreenBounds.getHeight()-50), Color.web("#666970"));
            //webScene.getStylesheets().add(this.getClass().getResource("main.css").toExternalForm());
            stage.setScene(webScene);
            stage.show();
    class Browser extends Region {
        final WebView browser = new WebView();
        final WebEngine webEngine = browser.getEngine();
        public Browser() {
            //apply the styles
            getStyleClass().add("browser");
            // load the web page
            String url = "http://localhost:8000/myApp";
            webEngine.load(url);
            //add the web view to the scene
            getChildren().add(browser);
    When i run with normal url, the drop down are coming in bigger font size and bold. But when i run through Javafx, the drop down list items are coming as small size and normal font. I can provide the screen shots but not sure how to paste the images here or attachments. Let me know if any more information is required.

  • Drop down box question

    Is there a way to allow multiple options to be chosen from a drop down box?  I have the Designer version ES 8.2 that came w/ Acrobat Pro Extended 9.  Thanks.

    I am not aware of any way to enable multiple selections. That said, it would be possible to create a script that concatenates serial selections. (records and joins the selections). This could be displayed in another field, if desired.
    Or, you could script additional instances of your dropdown box with a button. Or, even the exit event of the dropdown box itself.
    Good luck!

  • Drop down box in a modulepool

    Hi,
    I am creating a modulepool with a drop down box in one of the dynpros. I have managed to fill it with values using the 'VRM_SET_VALUES' function module.
    The problem comes when running the modulepoool. The field displays the drop down box with the correct values, but it does not take the values I select. The first opcion is the defualt, and even though I choose a different one it does not take the change.

  • WAD drop-down box and commands on Set Variable values/ Set Filter Values

    Hello to all
    I am confused in WAD and Help online couldn't clarify my concerns. Thus here following issue:
    I am using a WAD, where the data provider (query)  is set dynamically. I would like that
    1 user selects company in  drop-down-box 1
    2 I use commands on drop-down-box 1 to manage the next drop-down-box 2 ( like it becomes input ready)
    3 user selects plant in drop-down-box 2
    4 User selects a tab strip A, where report A of multiple reports is placed. Now in this moment I assign the query A to the data provider A.
    Now my questions:
    - I am not clear how to use the bex-variables required for the query ( like company and plan). If I use in drop-down variables, then I can't set anymore commands
    - What means and makes the command set_variable_state
    - What means and makes the command set_selection_state
    Thanks a lot for your clarification and help
    Christian

    Hi Christian,
    I will try and answer your Qs
    - I am not clear how to use the bex-variables required for the query ( like company and plan). If I use in drop-down variables, then I can't set anymore commands
    >> Can you explain how exactly are you trying to populate the DropDown webitems for Company / Plant data for user-selection.
    - What means and makes the command set_variable_state
    >> SET_VARIABLE_STATE is used to assign input values to your query variables. Here, the command gives you a range of input options to select from such as Characteristic/Text/Formula/Hierarchy Variables & Binding Type Selection. Binding Type Selection in addition gives you more options such as assigning manual input from a Text webitem [ITEM_INPUT], assigning value from another Variable [VARIABLE], or simply assigning the selected value from an underlying Data Provider such as one mapped to a DropDown webitem [DATA_PROVIDER_CHARACTERISTIC].
    - What means and makes the command set_selection_state
    >> SET_SELECTION_STATE is used to assign input values to Characteristics in your query. It serves as a Filter option.
    I think in your case using SET_VARIABLE_STATE makes more sense. You can use Binding Type Selection with [DATA_PROVIDER_CHARACTERISTIC] on both the DropDown webitems to assign the values of Company / Plant to the query on runtime.

  • Standalone Interactive Forms without ABAP Dynpro and Drop down boxes

    Friends,
    I need to create Adobe interactive form with drop down boxes. I have 2 questions:
    1) do i need to use abap dynpro to display the form or can i display the form using print program
    2) for using drop down box, should i use the one from standard library or Web Dynpro ActiveX or Web Dynpro Native library
    Points will be rewarded for helpful answers.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Its not necessary to have ABAP web Dynpro to create and display adobe forms. You can display it in programs in ABAP. Go to following link to know more:
    [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/adobe#section39]
    There is a sample application for Adobe form in ABAP and lot more.
    You can use web dynpro Native dropdown list.
    Hope it will help you.

    Vaibhav Tiwari.

  • Recordings that include drop-down boxes

    I am recording in the “Training Simulation” mode.
    The screen I’m recording includes drop-down boxes. After
    publishing the project, the project does not allow the user to
    scroll though the drop-down list. It will automatically fill in the
    correct answer choice by pressing Enter.
    I need the user to be able to scroll though the list of
    drop-down options. Any suggestions?

    Hi Jillbr and welcome to our community
    Captivate doesn't offer anything like that. You would need
    some sort of a custom Flash widget that might allow it.
    You should probably put this suggestion as a feature request
    to the development team. You may do so by
    clicking
    here and completing the form.

    i think normally u will get data from databsae as objects.they are like java beans having getter and setter methods.so you create a collection of those objects like collect all the objects coming from database into an arraylist or....
    suppose you want to populate the dropdown box with say "username" from database object s, your code will look like that
    <html:select property="name">
    <html:options collection="databaseList" property="username" />
    </html:select>
    "databaseList" is collection(say.. ArrayList) of objects you are getting from database.this dropdown will contain all the "usernames" you are getting from database.

  • How do I add Brushes to my Drop down box?

    I know there is a way to add brushes to the brush drop down box. I use the brush tool drop box to add it in but when I exit out of the brush set it goes away then I have to load it again. I also noticed the the loaded brushes are separated from the others by placing it by it'self at the bottom of the brush selection drop box. So how do I permanently add a new brush set to the drop down box?   Happywolf68

  • Linking drop down boxes

    Hi all,
    I would like to add multiple drop down boxes to my model, say f.e.:
    - division
    - country
    - sales manager
    - customer
    These drop down boxes should be linked, such that when I select a value for division, the second drop down box only contains values that are applicable for division A. In our example, division A only sells products in Germany and Spain. When I select Germany, I would like the third drop down box to only show the names of sales manager from division A that sold products in Germany.
    How to build this?
    Best regards,
    Ralph

    Hi Ralph,
    therefore you can write a simple ABAP RFC. Start the transaction SE80 and create a RFC function module.
    If you use text in your infoobject ZDIVISION you can use a simple ABAP:
    FUNCTION ZZ_GET_MD_ZDIVISION .
    *"*"Lokale Schnittstelle:
    *"  TABLES
    *"      T_TABLE_VIEW STRUCTURE  /BIC/TZDVISION OPTIONAL
    * For reading the data from the textable
    SELECT * FROM /BIC/TZDVISION INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE T_TABLE_VIEW.
    ENDFUNCTION.
    Then you can use a dynamic entry list and choose for the key F_BIC_DIVISION and TXTSH or TXTMD for your text.
    Then you have to create your RFC function module for ZPRODUCT, this could look like:
    FUNCTION ZZ_GET_MD_PRODUCT .
    *"*"Lokale Schnittstelle:
    *"  IMPORTING
    *"     VALUE(I_SEARCH) TYPE  STRING OPTIONAL
    *"  TABLES
    *"      T_TABLE_VIEW STRUCTURE  /BIC/TZPROCUDT OPTIONAL
    data: l_condition type string.
    * Preparing String for SQL Statement e.g. A% for Division A
    CONCATENATE '''' I_SEARCH '%' '''' INTO I_SEARCH.
    CONCATENATE 'ZPRODUCT LIKE' I_SEARCH INTO l_condition SEPARATED BY SPACE.
    * For reading the data from the textable
    SELECT * FROM /BIC/TZPROCUDT INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE T_TABLE_VIEW WHERE (l_condition).
    ENDFUNCTION.
    Then you create a dynamic entry list for ZPRODUCT and choose for input (I_SEARCH) the value of the divsion and for output again ZPRODUCT for the key and if you use text TXTMD or TXTSH for the texts.
    Hope that helps,
    Best Regards,
    Marcel
