Drop down Calendar

Hi I wanted a dropdown calendar for date fields in acrobat standard XI, any suggestions would be greatly appeciated.

There is no built-in calendar or date picker. Some use the one provided by FormRouter: http://www.formrouter.com/tools/
and another uses a JavaScript-based custom dialog, but it's not free and I don't have a link to give you, but you can try contacting Max Wyss who is a frequent contributor at http://answers.acrobatusers.com

Drop down calendars inside sub form fields.

Good afternoon. My company recently purchased a license for Acrobat 9 Pro and it came with LiveCycle. So, I am trying to use it to create a form in which I need the date to be a drop down calendar. However, I have a huge subform field covering my pages so that I may place my fields where I want to in an easier fashion. But, when I use the date/time field inside the subform, the pop up calendar doesn't work,nor can I enter it manually. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Plz help!

How to insert date picker from drop down calendar in forms

I want to insert a calendar to select the date from in the 'Date of Training' column in my forms instead of manually typing in the date each time - how do I do this please?

There's no built-in calendar component in Acrobat forms. There are some third-party ones, though. The main ones are a free one that uses fields by FormRouter and a paid tool which uses a dialog object, developed by Max Wyss.

No Drop down Calendar Window when entering a date for a new event.

Hope someone can help with this annoying problem.
In ICal when entering the date for a New Event a little window would pop up showing the month that you were creating the event in, you could then click on the date you required in the calender and it would then update the 'From' date field in your event. You could then do the same for the 'To' date field this was all very neat and fast, you could create event verys easily.
However since upgrading to Snow Leopard this has stopped working and I can't see why.
Does somone have answer ?

Drop down month calendar for iCal

One thing that annoys me when entering new iCal events is I have to always to type dd/mm/yyyy and can't use a dropdown calendar in Outlook?
Ofcourse moving the events by just dragging and dropping is cool, but still there are at times I feel a drop down is faster.
Is there a plugin or something to get a calendar popup?

Yes this is fine. What I am looking for is, say I clicked for an appointment for this Wednesday (normally my cal will be in week setting) and when I enter the information, I decide I want to move this event to next Wednesday.
So I have a drop down calendar, I don't have to calculate what the day is for next wednesday or have to switch my week view momentarily to month view to drag it.
Just to enhance user experience!!

Lotus Notes Missing in Drop Down List for Calendar Synch

Hello there,
   A) I am attempting to synch my blackberry tour with my calendar in Lotus Notes 8.5.2. I was able to previously synch my calendar when I had Lotus Notes 8.5.1, but since our upgrade to 8.5.2, I get an error saying it could not find a supported version of Lotus Notes.
B) When I try to go in and configure the organizer section of the desktop software, there is no option for the drop down list for Lotus Notes. I have tried uninstalling, rebooting and then reinstalling (based on info from other posts), but none of that seems to work. I have checked and all the connectors are there, but for some reason, they are not being recognized. Is there some specific key or file that intellisynch is looking for to know that Lotus Notes is installed on the machine?
Now, I am assuming A&B are symptoms of a common problem, but I am at a loss as to how to move forward. Any ideas on how I can get this software to recognize Lotus Notes? I appreciate any help you can give.

Can you display a calendar in a drop down menu to select a date

I would like to display a calendar in a drop down menu like in
outlook's calendar appointments. Is this possible with forms
and how can it be done. I haven't been able to find anything in
the book I have. Any help would be appreciated

I am sure this is possible. There is a calendar object on the Forms and Demos CD but I have created my own calendar just using a single form that is called from every date field.
Create your calendar using a single date item that is populated by a parameter - this will be either the date from the field or sysdate. Create the other elements of the calendar as calculated items based on the first item +1, +2 etc. Use a when-mouse-click trigger to get the user's selection and pass it back to the date field via a global variable or a shared PL/SQL library.
To make it more like the Outlook calendar you will have to add a button next to every date field and add code to position the calendar according to the field position. You may prefer not to bother to do that - I just open the calendar centrally on screen and activate it using key-listval and/or a pop-up menu.

In attempting to sync my Outlook Contacts to my new iphone 5,in iTunes, Outlook shows in the drop-down box, but it does not allow click-on. Individual items are not listed to click on. The only listing is my email address and when you sync it, it really does not sync, it adds another email account with the same name, and no contacts sync with it.

also - when I use camera wizard it just tells me the phone is busy or in use and I should retry.
If I use it through windoes explorer - it shows me the camera to computer symbols and a line moving between then but bombs out saying camera is busy.

How to get the values returned by a function in a drop down?

Can anyone please help in getting the values returned by a function into a drop down? I have a java class file where in i have written a function called getWeeks() which give all the week dates and i want to display these week dates in a drop down box in a JSP page.

The <%= selected %> snippet allows you to pre-select one of the options (provided that the variable 'selected' is equal to one of the listBoxItem keys).
You can also add onSelect to the tag (e.g. = "setSelectedItem"). It corresponds to a method in the corresponding JSPDynPage class. This means that when you select another item in the dropdown list, the method in your Java class is performed (allowing you to save the selected value and performing actions with it)

CSS sheet covers up date drop down, and other Date field issues

Portland needs a little help once again.
My CSS stylesheet object acts like it has a higher "zIndex" then the date dropdown on an inputField. This causes me to only see half the calendar or none of it. Anyone else seen this and how did you get around it.
Also, When I test my BSP page the date drop downs, tables, etc all look great. However when the BSP page is rendered on an iView in EP6.0 they look terrible. Colors change, etc. What is happening here and how do I get around it.

1) Call transaction se80
2) Click on "MIME Repository"
3) Goto /SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/Design2002/js
4) Open each of these files:

How to display Current Year and Month in Drop Down list

I am devloping a report. It has got 2 pages--input and output(Report) page.
IN input page, user will select Month and Year from drop down list as one of the input parameters. (seperate drop down list 4 month and year)

it is not working.
First i tired with for-loop. I initialized variable "i" to -2 (i=-2) I would get the year drop down list from 2003 but, by default 2003 would come.
So, i posted the question.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to filter a calendar based a look up column in SharePoint 2013.
Calendar View not support OOTB filters connection. it is disabled for calendar view, you need to change view(not calendar view) so OOTB filters works and get connected to your view.
You can achieve this using combination of jQuery and SharePoint OOB techniques.
