Drop Down is not Visible

Hi All,
We have encountered an issue after Upgrade. We have an BSP application in out portal(7.0). Through that HR persons are handling their activity.
We have upgraded ECC to EHP7 SP4 and UAT is going on. In UAT user is facing the issue.
One HR Manager is synching his id with another user id and then going to the Proxy link to change the employee information for the another user as a proxy manager. Here The user is not able see the drop down to select and Action item to complete job.
User is able to do the same in production. We have checked user's role and Structural profiles in both UAT and production environment and Both are same.
Can anybody please suggest what is the issue?

Then it is possibly a coding error which reacts to that rc=4 incorrectly in EHP7. PSIGN=* should have no meaning as it can either be I or E.
'*' should be ignored.
If both trace results are the same, then the coding in the function module must have changed in how it reacts to it, or the calling BSP (looks like it is coming in with a logon ticket from a portal) has implications on the BSP side that dropdowns are not supported anymore in the way it has been coded. Eg. the search help has changed or the structure for the output has changed.
I tip on incompatibility with your BSP. SAP made a few changes to this FM recently...
Is there no BAPI for this?
What we do here is that we classify data objects and have a list of APIs for them. Then we scan our code to check that the call stack comes from the stables APIs and not some FMs which happen to be remote enabled. Same for correct use of methods which contain correct validations and checks - particularly if the data model changes.
You could try to open a customer message with SAP and tell them which FM you are calling, but 90% sure they will say it is not supported and 99,9% sure they will say that your BSP code is the problem.
Try it and let us know (if you did not do that already).

Hello, Scott. Please don't shout. Quit PSE, then go to your hard drive>library>application support>adobe>Photoshop Elements>6.0>locale>en_US (this will be different if you aren't in the US) and delete mediaDatabase.db3.
Repair permissions and relaunch PSE. Give it time to rebuild the palettes before you start using the program.
Also, note that you have 3 library folders. You want the one at the top level of your hard drive, not system>library or your username>library.

Drop down values not visible

Hello All,
i have a drop down which is filled by the data from R/3. When i run my Web Dynpro appliocation, the drop down is getting populated, but when i run in the portal initially the drop down shrinks such that it dosent have any values but there are values in the drop down and upon refreshing the value are shown.
Like the same way the Road Map also initially it looks there is no steps available and upon refreshing the steps are visible
What could be the problem?

Drop down menus on iPad, the first selection in the drop down will not load as a selection when using safari, what can I do? I use this for my mobile, on-site auto repair business and not being able to call up repair and diagnostic info and reference for some cars is troublesome for sure. It works fine on the computer and I have installed a remote desktop app as a workaround but it is unreliable because the desktop is not business dedicated and may be off or in use at the time. So is there a known fix for this?
Let me paint a more descriptive picture, visualize 4 drop down selection menus, first one is for year, next one is for make, 3rd one is model and the last one is for engine size/type. If I wanted to choose a 2012 vehicle it wont work because it is the top selection on the list. This can be forced by selecting any other year and then coming back to 2012. Ok fine, but then let's say I wanted to choose Acura as the make, well it won't take it because again it's the top selection. Again you work around it be selecting any other make and coming back to Acura. Ok now select the model, same trend follows. But now since most Acura vehicles come with dedicated engines and no optional engines I have only 1 selection in that final drop down menu and it will not take my selection and therefore never let me proceed to the info I need.
This is also true when ordering parts from my wholesaler's website, they use drop downs and I can only get to that last drop down and then I'm stuck. This is blindingly frustrating, what options do I have. I'm not opposed to any avenue at this point.

Did you ever figure this out? I bought my iPad last week to use in my business as well. I assume you are trying to use alldata? That is where I noticed this same issue. I had problems with identifix working with safari but downloaded a different browser and that works fine. Alldata does not work with either browser. The main difference is that on identifix if there is only one engine selection, it automatically selects the only option and continues to the home page. With alldata you have to make the selection manually even if there is only one option. Honestly if I can't get this to work I am going to return the iPad as it looses a significant amount of usefulness to men

Search Item drop-down does not show any data for Advanced Search.

I have a requirement to add a new criteria to the existing Advanced Search region of 'My Employee Information' in Manager Self Service responsibility. I substituted the AdvancedSearchVO to include the new column. Using personalization i did the below steps to show the new column in the page,
1) Created a 'Message Styled Text' item under Table Layout region to display the result. I associated the View Instance (AdvancedSearchVO1) and View Attribute (AttrColumn).
2) In Advanced Search Panel created a new CriteriaRow and set the 'Search Allowed' property to True.
3) In Advanced Search Mappings i tried to create the new mapping but the Search Item drop-down does not show any of the CriteriaRow item. But Results Item shows the 'Message Styled Text' item created in step 1 above.
Any idea what i would be missing becasue of which 'Search Item' property does not show any data?
I am using OAF version 12.1.1.

But when i tried to create a new custom page with advanced table and created a new LOV column via personalization. i was able to create new search mapping.. but this is not happening in the seeded page case :(.

Long Drop Down Menu not scrolling to bottom

Apparently, this is not consistent across all installs. Some people claim it is working fine. However, on this page - http://hillwilliam.com - there is a long drop down menu under Manufacturers. On my MacBook Air, the drop down does not scroll to bottom. Works on iPad. I have turned extensions off, deleted internet plug-ins to no avail. FYI ... iOS = iPad OS X = OS X. Two different operating systems so you may see an inconsistency in one but not the other for drop down menus.

Table TZC37 field STATU search help drop down is not pulling any values?

Hi,
In table TZC37 field STATU(Contract status) search help is not pulling any values( drop down list when execute the table values) .. but the table has values for this field.
And also I checked in the configuration, this field has values in the config also. But still the search drop down is not getting any values.
Can any one knows what could be the reason and how to solve this issue?
I am using this field in transaction FNVS when searching loan number based on Status field.

Value table for this data type - STATI is TZC37.
While getting records from these tables(TZC37 or VDARL ) I am trying to use drop down values for searching data using this field SSTATI. But its not showing any drop down values. It supposed to show what ever values exists for this field right?
I checked in the cofig of this table and values exists for this field.
Any help appreciated.

Drop down listing not showing

On my new MacBook Air, in a online CRM software NetSuite, the drop down does not show all of the items. The drop down is trunckated, cutting off the last 5 or so item. For drop downs with a shorter list of options this is not a problem. Suggestions?

Not an Apple application so there isn't much we can do. I would recommend restarting the computer and retesting, if the problem persists you should contact the developer for support and ensure the license you have is designed to run on the version of OS X installed on your system.

Drop Down Menu not functioning

I'm very VERY new to dreamweaver/fireworks but have been making small changes to multipul websites for a company. They have asked me to come up with a totally new design for their primary webpage and I'm having an issue with the drop-down menu.
I'm created the menu in fireworks using the hotspot tool and it "previews" just fine in both fireworks and dreamweaver. I went through the export process in fireworks and exported the hotspots/images and html code into my primary folder for the website. I pasted the html-code in the location that I wanted on the webpage.
When I upload the page and go to view it the drop-down-menu does not function properly. I have to add an <div> after my .jpg banner for the images of the dropdown to appear. Even then the pull-down-menu does not show up properly.
*Side note* the page also loads VERY SLOWLY now, not sure why. In an attempt to start over I access the "remote view" of the webpage through dreamweaver and deleted all but the "Admin" folder which it did not allow me to delete? Did I majorly mess something up here?

Firstly, the link to the imported stylesheet is wrong - it appears to be pointing to your hard drive: that needs to be fixed and if it relates to the menu, likely the reason why the menu isn't visible.

Are you working in a defined DW site? It's very important that you are - it's the way that DW keeps track of all the links and paths.

Next: Those FWs exported dropdowns are atrocious, there was a reason the functionality was removed from the latest FWs and DW.   Even though a CSS version is available, it may be ok to use for protyping for certainly not for live production sites.

There are much better ways to build a dropdown menu, one of them is the Spry Menu available in CS3 and CS4. They too, can cause issues, but at least the links throughout your site are inside the html code, not in the javascript.

DW CS4 Horizontal Spry drop down menu not displaying correctly in Internet Explorer 8

Hi,
I have created a horizontal Spry drop down menu in Dreamweaver CS4 with my own background images. I have done various modifications to the CSS script to accommodate the style and feel needed; including making the main buttons' height twice the size of the sub menu buttons and some alignments. It seems to work different depending which browser is used.
It works well in Google Chrome.
It works well in Firefox with the exception that if any of the buttons are clicked, thereafter a thin black line is diplayed horizontally across center of the top main buttons when the mouse rolls over them. I would like to correct this but is not nearly as bad as the problem I'm having in Internet Explorer 8.
Here is my biggest concern and I would greatly appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this matter.
Once opened in Internet Explorer 8 the main navigation buttons appear as they should. IE8 prompts me the following: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for options..". Once I allow IE8 to run scripts or ActiveX controls, the background image disappears and only shows on any menu or submenu button when the mouse rolls over that particular button. Can someone please help.

to edit this file. Some highlights of the MenuBar object is that timers are
used to keep submenus from showing up until the user has hovered over the parent

Hello Nancy,
I was troubleshooting For the next 8 hours after my post here and eventually I got it right, I uploaded the files to the test server and at the time did not have the chance to post the solution here. This is why, as you saw, it is working correctly now. Both the CSS and HTML files needed modifications. While working on the code I had to run IE8, Chrome and Firefox simultaneously and refresh all three after every change in the code because what would fix the problem in one would cause a problem for the other.
In addition to the problems listed in my original post, there were also other graphical issues in IE8, such as; the main menu buttons without sub-menus would only display at half their size vertically. The border around the buttons would not display despite that the background images were rendered in Photoshop as flattened JPEGs with boarders as part of the background image. Being so, I removed all borders from the CSS script.
By the way.. the IE8 security measure did pop up while working from the server.
Anyhow for those of you who are experiencing similar problems you can take a look at the working code bellow and compare it to the initial code. I've included detail comments on every line I have changed, modified or added.
Good luck.. as I know it can become a complicated task when creating custom Spry menus.

OAAM CSR Drop Downs and Notes

Has anyone been able to update the text for the OAAM CSR drop downs or add notes in 11.1.1.5? I have updated the properties from oaam_admin as well as oaam_resources.properties on the server but do not seem to get the changes to be visible in the interface.

Drop-down List not function in preview mode.

Hi all,
LiveCycle 8.2.1.4029
I have created a drop-down list and populated it with a text
However when I preview the form, the drop-down is displayed without the dropdown arrow and the options (text) are not displayed.
The drop-down list is the only object on the form.
If I load a form or xpd of a form created prior today the drop-down list displays and functions as normal.
Any ideas.

Hebrew fonts from drop-down box not displaying in text box.

I am using InDesign CS 5.5 on a Mac 10.8.4.
When in ID, the fonts I am seeing on the Font dropdown menu when I try to use in a text box are not displaying correctly. They only display as boxes. The fonts are in the Hebrew language. They are properly installed in the FontBook.
