The bookmarks themselves exist. How can I put them back in the drop-down menu I have from Vista-Aero theme ?

This happens when I start Firefox (v. 3.6.28) from desktop. I ussually start it from quick launch. I have a star shaped button, top left, that works like a drop-down menu for my bookmarks. But now there's only a small window there, and the bookmarks do not appear anymore. They are stored in the Bookmarks>>Unsorted bookmarks tab. But how the hell do I get them to the drop menu ?
Did I mention that Restore doesn't ....... do anything ?
Also I haven't changed any settings in the last 2 weeks.

Staying with Firefox 3.6 is both EXTREMELY Insecure (you are vulnerable to almost every hole on [https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html] since Firefox 12), and you are using a version that is significantly slower, doesn't support modern web technology, and has known bugs (crashes, freezes, etc.). If it's just the UI you don't like, you can quickly and easily change the UI to look exactly like 3.6.
So, until you update you are knowingly using an old version of software with dozens of known bugs.

Why does my drop down menu not have setup sync?

MY drop down menu in Firefox does not include setup sync. Do I have the latest version of firefox? I amd trying to sync info with my new laptop.

Email form script with custom text field and drop-down menu?

Hey, I'm building a website in iWeb - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19707357/Website/craftpackage.html
And I was looking for a script that could possibly send an email to me with the info a user chooses from/puts in 1. dropdown menu 2. text field 3. another text field. I'd be awesome if the fields could have a custom background or a transparent background.The drop-down menu could have any background, but it would be awesome if it could be made with custom images !

That's because you have set the font-size to 18% on hover & focus. Change it to 100%.

Spry Tab/Drop Down Menu conflict

When using spry tabs, my drop down menus go behind the tabs
and can't be read. This only happens on pc's. I am creating the
website on a mac running leopard. The template company is not
familiar with spry. It does not occur with spry accordiom.

First thing you should do is to update to the latest version
of Spry which is Spry 1.6.1. Install the updater:

Address in a Drop Down Menu?

Is it possible to have multiple lines in a drop down menu. I am creating letterhead for my Company. We have six locations. Instead of having them choose each part of the address, line by line, I would like them to be able to choose the whole address in a Drop Down. For example:
ABC Company
123 Main St.
Dallas, TX 12345
I can't figure out how to make a drop down more than one line.

Only with a script and it doesn't work very well at all.
I recommend placing just the company name in the drop-down and then have it populate a text field with the full address when selected.
It would require a script, but this type of operation was discussed here many times in the past.

Thanks to Gilad D67 for showing me how to have multiple drop down menu items appear in a separate text box. This stuff blows my mind. Is there any script I can use to make a new drop down menu item appear in the same text box, but on a new line below a previous entry. For example. I select 'cat' from my drop down menu and it appears in my text box. Now I choose 'dog' from my menu and it appears in my text box like so 'cat dog.' Is there any way I can make 'dog' go straight to a new line automatically without having to manually go into the text box and change it?

Now, I don't have a clue if this is also possible, but imagine, I don't like my drop down menu selection of 'dog' and I go back into the menu and I change to 'rat' but in the text box, 'dog' still appears and 'rat' is added. Do I have to manually delete 'dog' from the text box or is there script that can do this for me.
Any assistance would be incredible. It amazes me how people know this stuff.

You have to set the option for the text field to be multiline and then change the last line of the script to:
getField("Text30").value += "\r" + aQuotes[item];
To reset the field you can use a separate button with a Clear Form command, and then you just select this one field from the list.

Foreign fonts display in character drop down menu

When designing a sign for a customer, I take a photo of the existing signs, place on a new document in illustrator cs6, type text then scroll through the text character drop down menu to match the new sign text to the font that is currently on the customers signs, business card etc.
There are many different types of fonts and I would prefer not to have the adobe system fonts, asian, arabic and other fonts that are not used for my purposes.
Is there a way to remove them from this list.
I have tried deleteing them from the window 7 font manager but they are essential system fonts and it displays a message that some programes will not work if I delete them.
I have tried show/hide in the windows 7 font manager but this has no effect on the fonts displayed in illustrator.
Any help would be appreciated.

Seems windows 7 fonts can be set to show/hide for some programs but it does not work in illustrator. I have found a helpful program by Adobe Air called Font Picker which displays only the fonts installed and excludes hidden fonts (windows 7 font manager).
It would be good to have a search facility that has fonts catagorised. There are a few out there where you can tag them but I don't see myself sitting through 35000+ fonts I have collected over the years.
I did install Illustrator CC which has a few added options under the character font drop down menu. It also has a link to Typekit on Adobe Cloud but would you believe it didn't have Calligri which is a very common script font.
Has anyone on this forum found a solution to this before. There are may questions related to this on the web but no answers or feed back.

Basic Form with Drop Down Menu Help

I have just started using dreamweaver and i dont use code or anything yet. I have been following a tutorial from thesitewizard which runs through the basics of creating a web page in the design screen. It created a form to insert but i need to know how to create a form which has a drop down menu to have say 4 or 5 options to select the normal name email comments etc fields and submit button to enbale people to contact me. Can anyone help with this. Pleae keep in mind i am very new to this and dont have any code experience etc at all.

You will need to use a form processing script to handle your form data. This isn't terribly difficult, but it's more than you can do in Design View alone.

Was wondering if I could update the drop down menu and have it update automatically all other pages that use the menu in a site?

The version is not an issue.
Site wide update is possible only if menu code is situated in a DW template or a Server Side File.
If not, put the (updated) menu code in a remote "include" file, named menu.inc
Then replace the old menu code on all pages with a PHP tag calling for the include file.

(Check to be sure your Hosting provider supports PHP)
All future updates will then only involve editing the include file, and all pages will automatically update.

How do you make a drop down menu with a giant list of countries without having to plug in every country one by one?
I'm trying to recreate a drop down menu my boss has on his website onto Adobe Formscentral. The problem is I don't want to make a drop down menu and have to type out every country he has on the website drop down "It's seriously has every country in the world" If there is script I have to type somwhere so be it, rather mess around with that than waste company time typing countries down.
